Chapter 162: Ability to Harness the Nature Energy: Bloodline Powers As a Druid
Cultivation World Dadangar.
Shamrock Peak. Emerald Cove.
Hour of Shadow Rabbit. (09:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
As night fell the moon cast its silver glow over Shamrock Peak.
Aksai spent quite a lot of time getting used to his new reality as a druid.
After regaining his usual appearance, Aksai freshened up using elemental spells. He changed into a better set of clothes before leaving his private chamber.
Stepping out of the Shamrock Sanctuary, Aksai immediately felt something strange about his surroundings. It was as if the elements of nature were calling out to him.
He felt an inexplicable connection with the surrounding trees and vegetation. It seemed as though the entire flora of Shamrock Peak was at his beck and call.
As soon as Aksai stepped onto the ground, the grass beneath his feet began growing rapidly. Nearby plants also entered a growth spurt, their vines and branches stretching toward him.
“My druid bloodline… it is affecting the elements of nature around me,” Aksai murmured to himself, watching the phenomena with fascination. “Isn’t this just the perfect Spirit bloodline for me as a Spirit farmer?” he asked himself before a smile bloomed on his handsome face.
Aksai had already asked all his servants to leave him alone for a few days. There was nobody in the vicinity of 500 meters from Shamrock Sanctuary.
As such, Aksai could check the effects of his druid bloodline on his surroundings more carefreely. He let his bloodline energy spread forth freely along with his Spirit Sense.
As Aksai made his way to his vineyard under the moonlit sky, the effects of his druid bloodline became even more pronounced. The night air around him seemed to hum with a peculiar vitality, the essence of nature responding keenly to his presence.
The moment he stepped into the vineyard, the grapevines subtly swayed, as if acknowledging him in the soft glow of the moonlight.
The leaves shimmered with a silvery sheen, and the grapes appeared to swell and ripen faster than they should under the cool, gentle light. It was as if his mere presence invigorated the plants, accelerating their growth and enhancing their vitality even at this late hour.
Nocturnal birds, usually wary of humans, flew down and perched nearby, their eyes reflecting the moonlight as they chirped softly. Small woodland creatures, typically hidden during the night, appeared and seemed unafraid, observing Aksai with curious, glinting eyes.
The entire vineyard felt more vibrant, the colors more vivid under the moon, and the scents more intense and intoxicating.
“It seems this druid bloodline is also suitable for my innate elemental affinities,” he thought to himself silently.
Aksai walked among the rows of grapevines, his hands brushing against the leaves, which seemed to respond with a delicate rustle.
Everywhere he touched, the plants flourished even more. The soil under his feet felt richer and more fertile, the natural energies coursing through it in response to his druidic aura.
At the same time, Aksai felt that the vitality coursing through his body was getting used by his bloodline energy as well. Aksai knew that he could always recover his lost bloodline energy in due time by cultivating and resting. As such, he just chose to make use of the bloodline energy as much as he could without worrying about the expenditure.
“Hmm. Let’s try something on this dead plant,” Aksai thought to himself.
He paused near a particularly old and gnarled grapevine, placing his hand on its trunk. Almost immediately, he felt a pulse of energy flow from him into the vine.
The old wood creaked softly in the night air, and new shoots began to sprout, leaves unfurling in a matter of moments. The transformation was mesmerizing, the vine rejuvenating as if it had been given a new lease on life under the moon’s gentle gaze.
“Hehehe. Just as I thought. I can probably make use of my druid powers in a better way inside the Everwood farm.”
Aksai smiled, feeling a profound sense of connection with the vineyard.
He realized that his druid bloodline not only granted him enhanced vitality but also a deep bond with the natural world. It was a symbiotic relationship, where his presence nurtured nature, and in turn, nature nourished him.
He felt as if practicing any Spirit cultivation technique under the presence of natural elements would yield him better results.
“Perhaps this was what the corrupted druid was trying to do inside the Devil’s Den he created,” Aksai thought to himself, caressing his chin.
“He was trying to refine his bloodline using his unique Spirit cultivation technique, expelling the impurities within it one realm breakthrough at a time.” He watched the effects of his druid bloodline affecting the growth of the fauna with a pensive look on his face.

“This kind of power over nature is definitely not something one would easily give up to progress rapidly in cultivation,” Aksai mused, recalling the corrupted druid’s actions.
“It seems that the demon druid was shackled by his bloodline, forcing him to practice a heretic technique that worked against the elements of nature.
I’m glad I could refine the bloodline to some extent, which liberated me from having to practice a cultivation technique related to negative emotions. Otherwise, I would have been forced to create a Devil’s Den of my own as well,” Aksai thought, breathing a sigh of relief.
Aksai was fine with killing and experimenting on his enemies, but he had no interest in torturing innocent civilians just to progress in his Spirit cultivation path. Not only was it morally questionable but also made him prone to a lot of problems that could arise later on.
This was why he had invested so much time and effort in refining the corrupted druid’s bloodline.
The refinement enabled Aksai to bypass many of the bloodline shackles embedded in the corrupted druid’s lineage. This was also why Aksai’s bloodline transformation looked nothing like the corrupted druid’s.
Aksai had successfully removed the demonic mutations from the genetic sample he obtained. His bloodline was now closer to the original druidic essence than that of the corrupted druid.
