Chapter 197: Spatial Anchoring Between 2nd Order Everwood Farm & Dadangar
At the high altitude of Shamrock Peak.
Away from the farming fields, an artificial plateau had been created.
This place spanned an area of 500 square meters.
One side was bordered by Shamrock Peak’s rocky terrain, creating an unscalable wall, while the other three sides dropped off into cliffs, offering views of the distant residential areas and farming fields below. The plateau was shrouded in fog and clouds, making it tough to see the fields clearly from up there.
Despite the strong mountain winds at this altitude, the plateau itself was calm. This was thanks to an Array Formation that kept the area covered in clouds and smoke, blocking any external elements from entering. Even the winds couldn’t breach the formation’s translucent barrier.
At this moment, the rocky wall of Shamrock Peak began to shift, revealing a hidden mountain cave. Aksai stepped out, his hands behind his back, taking in the surroundings. As he moved forward, the cave entrance closed behind him, sealing off the only way in or out of the plateau.
This was the place Aksai had chosen to link Dadangar with the Myriad Worlds Painting using a spatial anchor. He had already made his preparations. It was now time to act.
Aksai knew that planting the demon tree in Dandangar made more sense. The 2nd-order Spirit vein of Emerald Cove, even in its infant state, was an ideal choice for the demon tree.
Although the 2nd-order Everwood farm was a safe location, it didn’t offer the space the tree needed to grow into the towering structure Aksai had seen in Serenity Peak City when he was in Martial World Sharang.
Additionally, planting the demon tree inside the 2nd-order Everwood farm would prevent him from making ideal use of the isolated domain. The tree would hog all the nutrients and ambient Spirit essence that were already limited because of the farm’s isolated nature, making it difficult for other cultivation resources to grow.
In short, there were many advantages to planting the demon tree on Emerald Cove and many disadvantages to planting it inside the Everwood farm accessible through the Myriad Worlds Painting.
Yet, Aksai had planted the demon tree inside the Everwood farm after careful consideration. There were many reasons for his decision.
If Aksai planted the demon tree on Emerald Cove, he would be bound to stay near the tree until the first stage of the bloodline refinement was complete. He wouldn’t be able to leave Emerald Cove or visit the Everwood farm, as technically, it was a small world of its own, which would halt the bloodline refinement process.
How could Aksai visit other worlds if he didn’t even have access to the Everwood farm until the first stage of the bloodline refinement was completed?
This dilemma would have halted Aksai’s comprehensive progress one way or another if he hadn’t discovered more about the Myriad Worlds Painting itself.
Aksai had summoned the Myriad Worlds Painting many times during his cultivation practices. He had tried to learn more secrets about it by using his Spirit Sense to scan its every aspect microscopically.
Thanks to years of satiating this curiosity, Aksai had found the solution to the problem before it even existed. The answer was spatial anchoring.
The Myriad Worlds Painting allowed Aksai to overlap a part of the Everwood farm with any world he saw fit. A spatial anchor was needed for the link to be established.
Once the link was established, the two places would overlap, creating a new place according to the artifact owner’s wishes.
This meant that if the artifact owner of the Myriad Worlds Painting desired, they could create a new place that favored the presence of the Everwood farm over the existing world, or vice versa after the overlap of the two spatial regions was complete.
Of course, Aksai couldn’t do something like this on his own with his current cultivation base. It was only possible with the help of his natal artifact—the Myriad Worlds Painting.
He had discovered this peculiarity about the artifact years ago but never needed to use it until now. After all, there was no reason to link the isolated dimension with his existing world.
However, this unique ability of the Myriad Worlds Painting became a potential boon and solution for all of Aksai’s problems after he got hold of the druid’s journal and discovered ways to refine his existing druid bloodline.
With this artifact, Aksai could satisfy the stringent requirements of the bloodline refinement process while keeping the demon tree safe and possessing the ability to access the new world, all while staying in one place.
Furthermore, Aksai could move the demon tree anywhere he wanted since it was technically on the Everwood farm. All he needed to do was de-link the Myriad Worlds Painting’s connection with Emerald Cove.
Thankfully, even if Aksai left the Everwood farm and roamed elsewhere in the outside world, his connection with the demon tree would remain intact. However, if he linked the 2nd-order Everwood farm with Dadangar, restrictions would come into place, preventing him from leaving the tree’s vicinity unless he removed the spatial anchor connecting the isolated dimension of the farm to Emerald Cove.
This meant Aksai needed to go through a mildly troublesome process to de-link the Everwood farm from the secluded plateau. After the decoupling, the isolated dimension of the Everwood farm would separate itself from Dadangar and only stay connected to Aksai. He could then go elsewhere in Dadangar and re-establish the link to resume the halted bloodline refinement process.
Of course, the bloodline refinement process would be impacted if Aksai frequently linked and de-linked the Everwood farm with different places in Dadangar.
This was why he had chosen a fixed place where he could practice his cultivation, keep the bloodline refinement process going, and at the same time explore the otherworld that awaited him behind the gray fog of the 2nd-order Everwood farm’s isolated barrier.
Apart from placing various restrictions to isolate the plateau, Aksai had already informed all his subordinates not to approach this region under any circumstances.

He had set up numerous offensive, defensive, and masking-type talismans, along with a compound Array Formation.
Additionally, he had appointed four of his Scarecrow Fiends to guard the place as an extra precaution.
