Chapter 102: Let’s Go to Scold Third Elder Uncle
“What?”
Ancestral Master jolted, suddenly awake, and was so startled that his spirit seemed to float out of the wooden carving. “You learned it? How is that possible!”
Zhouzhou didn’t know. Didn’t he just say it was difficult? She thought it was quite easy to draw.
She handed the talisman to him. “Then, Ancestral Master, please check it.”
Ancestral Master took it and examined it carefully. The more he looked, the more amazed he became. He couldn’t believe his eyes as he glanced at Zhouzhou.
Where did this little brat come from? So talented!
“Ancestral Master, is there something wrong with my drawing?” Zhouzhou asked as he remained silent.
“No.” Ancestral Master looked at her, feeling a bit envious. If he had this talent back in his day, he could have lived another two hundred years.
Ah, envy!
But he didn’t dwell on it. After all, Zhouzhou was his disciple. The more talented she was, the faster he could restore his golden body. It was a good thing!
Thinking about it, he didn’t feel sleepy anymore. He became energetic and urged, “Quickly draw the second one. Let’s see how long it takes.”
Zhouzhou nodded and turned to the next page. Sure enough, the previously blank second page now had a talisman on it.
After observing it for a while, she imprinted the talismans in her mind and slowly started drawing it on the yellow paper.
She completed the talisman in one stroke, smoothly and effortlessly, even more smoothly than the previous one.
“Ancestral Master, this one isn’t difficult either,” Zhouzhou said, opening her mouth. When she turned her head, she saw him squatting in the corner with his back turned to her, lazily drawing circles on the ground with a dog-tail grass stem in his hand.
Zhouzhou walked over. “Ancestral Master, what are you doing?”
“I’m sulking, don’t bother me,” Ancestral Master sighed. Even though he was mentally prepared, he still couldn’t bear it. He looked up at the sky. Fortunately, Zhouzhou wasn’t from his era. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have had a chance to stand out at all.
Zhouzhou didn’t understand what he meant by sulking, so she flipped through the book and looked at him with some confusion in her eyes. “Ancestral Master, did you give me the wrong book?”
“No.” Ancestral Master rolled his eyes. He didn’t miscalculate; she was the exceptional one!
Her talent was extraordinary, unmatched throughout history.
He didn’t want to listen to her speak anymore, full of envy and resentment. It made his teeth ache!
He urged, “Hurry up and continue drawing. Let’s see how far you can go.”
The difficulty of these talismans was increasing.
He was curious about how high her talent could reach.
“Okay.” Zhouzhou nodded and continued drawing. After seven pages, her speed slowed down. It took her five attempts to finish each one. The eighth page took even more tries. By the time she reached the tenth page, she had drawn it more than ten times but still couldn’t get it right. Every time she reached a critical point, she felt like something was blocking her movements, preventing her from continuing.
She had felt this way before, but it was particularly strong this time.
Zhouzhou clenched her teeth and refused to give up. She tried again, but the result was the same as before.
She sighed and put down the brush. “Ancestral Master, I can’t draw this one.”
Watching her displeased expression, the corners of Ancestral Master’s mouth twitched. He didn’t tell her that it took him over a month to learn this particular talisman, and even this tenth page alone took him a month to master.
If she could learn this one immediately as well, then he would call her his Ancestral Master!

“Never mind, it’s normal. Take your time to learn,” he casually said. After all, it probably wouldn’t take her more than a couple of days with her level. As he finished speaking, he sensed something and turned his head to look outside the door, his eyes lighting up.
Zhouzhou also heard two sets of footsteps and saw Ancestral Master floating over. She stretched out her chubby paw and firmly grabbed his ankle, pulling him back without saying a word, pressing him into the wooden carving. With swift and steady movements, she slapped a talisman on him.
“Ancestral Master, you said not to scare kids,” she said.
Inside the wooden carving, Ancestral Master sighed. It was all because she had provoked him. She was too monstrous. He desperately needed to see a normal child to calm his mood.
But Zhouzhou wasn’t willing to give him that chance. She was holding a grudge!
Seeing the situation, Qin Bei approached with a smile. “Zhouzhou, look at what I brought for you.”
As he said that, he shook his hand, and Zhouzhou looked over to see a bag of snacks. She couldn’t help but salivate, but she still snorted heavily, turned her head away, and said angrily, “I won’t eat your stuff. You talked badly about my dad, so I won’t play with you.”
Saying that, she was about to run out.
Qin Bei quickly grabbed her and hurriedly explained, “I really didn’t say anything bad about your uncle. I’m just afraid of him.”
Zhouzhou furrowed her brows. “My dad is so good and gentle. Why are you afraid of him?”
Good and gentle? Was she talking about his uncle?
Qin Bei’s mouth twitched, but he didn’t dare say it out loud, afraid she would get even angrier. He quickly tried to please her, saying, “I was wrong. I won’t say those things anymore.”
That was about right.
Zhouzhou snorted lightly. “Why are you here?”
Speaking of that, Qin Bei sighed and said, “I wanted to take you to see my dad. He’s been burdened with worries lately and keeps sighing. The doctor said it’s not good for his health.”
Hearing that, Zhouzhou immediately shook her head. “No, Third Elder Uncle is a dummy. He bullies my dad. I don’t want to help him.”
“It’s not like that. My dad knows he was wrong, but he doesn’t know how to apologize to your dad. Zhouzhou, scold him a few times and tell him to stop obsessing.”
Otherwise, he would keep sighing every day, and they were all tired of it.
Every time they mentioned him, he would use his father’s identity to suppress them. So let Zhouzhou go and see if he dared to mention Zhouzhou. If he did, her uncle would beat him up, and he would never be forgiven.
Scold Third Elder Uncle.
Zhouzhou’s eyes lit up. She could do that!
She held onto one of their hands and said, “Let’s go.”
Seeing her agreeing, Qin Nan and Qin Bei looked at each other and also breathed a sigh of relief. They just didn’t know if their father would behave and make peace with their uncle. If not, they wouldn’t care about him anymore.
Let him be stubborn.
When they heard that they were going to the hospital, Qin Lie hesitated for a moment, looked at Zhouzhou, and saw her eyes shining brightly, completely forgetting what happened earlier. He nodded, “Let’s go. I’ll take you there.”
“Thank you, Youngest Uncle,” Qin Bei cautiously glanced at him. In fact, their Youngest Uncle was pretty good.
Qin Lie ignored him, picked up Zhouzhou and walked outside.
Soon, they arrived at the hospital, but they couldn’t find any trace of Qin Yan in the ward.
Zhouzhou looked around and asked in confusion, “Did Third Elder Uncle leave the hospital?”
“No, when we left, he was still here,” Qin Bei replied.
Strange, where did he go?
Out of the corner of her eye, Zhouzhou noticed a corner of a garment and quickly walked over. She saw Xiao Lan collapsed on the ground.
The twins were also shocked when they saw her and exclaimed, “Mom!”
Zhouzhou’s expression remained unchanged. She quickly checked Xiao Lan’s pulse and took out a pill from her bag, stuffing it into her mouth.
She looked around cautiously, her gaze unintentionally sweeping across the faces of Qin Nan and Qin Bei, and suddenly she froze.
“Don’t move,” she stopped them and looked at their faces, her expression grave.
Qin Lie also looked over and, seeing the situation, furrowed his brows slightly. He walked over and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Zhouzhou furrowed her little brows tightly, counted her fingers, and then hastily said, “Something is wrong. Third Elder Uncle is in trouble!”
