Chapter 1151: Changing Master
“What’s wrong?” Zhouzhou innocently looked at him.
Her eyes were clear as a spring, and looking into them made Yin Shuo throw away the thoughts that had just emerged in his mind.
He must have been overthinking. Someone so beautiful couldn’t possibly be a human trafficker, right? If anything, she’d be the one getting kidnapped, not the other way around.
Li Yuanming, who was watching from the side, gave him a speechless look. This guy seemed a little too naive. He had looked smart before, but now…
“Zhouzhou, why did you bring him here?” While Yin Shuo was busy drawing talismans, Li Yuanming pulled Zhouzhou aside and whispered.
Zhouzhou replied, “His skills are decent. We need manpower at the beginning, and he can help out a bit. Also, with the younger one already here, aren’t the older one bound to follow?”
Li Yuanming thought for a moment before saying, “I doubt it. Yin Hua’s the kind of person who won’t be swayed by someone like him. He’s very proud, thinks the heavens revolve around him. When the Ninth Bureau was established, Senior Uncle Tang invited him, but he still refused. They’re pretty close, you know.”
Zhouzhou was surprised. “Master Yin and Senior Uncle Tang are close?”
Li Yuanming nodded. “Yeah. He admires the most powerful people. That’s how he is.”
Zhouzhou finally understood. She had thought he disliked everyone at Sanqing Temple, but it seemed like he just had issues with his master.
“That makes sense,” Zhouzhou nodded in understanding. She figured if she were in his shoes, she’d probably go a little dark too, given the situation.
Li Yuanming exploded in indignation. “What do you mean by that! I’m pretty awesome too! A great teacher produces great disciples, you know! You guys are all so talented, which means I must be awesome too!”
Zhouzhou gave him a respectful bow. “Master, your ability to talk is truly your strongest asset.”
With just a few words, he managed to polish his image. If only their merits were as easy to earn.
Li Yuanming didn’t care that she was being sarcastic; he took it all as praise.
His little disciple was obviously complimenting him. How could he be wrong?
Speaking of which, Zhouzhou suddenly remembered something important and quickly said, “Master, there’s something else I need your help with.”
As soon as Li Yuanming heard this, he became energized. “What is it?”
“We still need a lot of talented people. Master, do you have time? Can you help train some of them?”
Li Yuanming pounded his chest with confidence. “Don’t worry, leave it to me! I’m great with all the stuff from the books!”
“By the way,” Li Yuanming suddenly asked, “What kind of position are you planning to give me? If Yin Hua joins in the future, my rank has to be higher than his, right?”
Otherwise, he wouldn’t accept it!
Zhouzhou cleared her throat. “It’s not a done deal. We’ll have to talk about it later, but don’t worry, Master, I won’t let you lose out.”
“Then you better help me,” Li Yuanming said.
If he were better at practical skills, Yin Hua wouldn’t even stand a chance.
Zhouzhou nodded.
Drawing up promises was her forte.
She had learned it all from Ancestral Master.
Li Yuanming had no idea that his little disciple had already become a master of scheming. He merrily went off to organize training materials.
He had to make good use of this opportunity to prove Yin Hua wrong, huh!

Once he had students all over the world, standing proudly in front of Yin Hua, he’d show him!
It wasn’t just about being powerful. At his age, he needed more successors.
He didn’t believe anyone could outdo him in that area.
He couldn’t care less about anything else. Just the fact that he had taught Zhouzhou was enough for him to brag about for a lifetime.
He calculated that within the next century, no one would be able to surpass Zhouzhou.
The more he thought about it, the happier he became, even humming a little tune.
Meanwhile, Zhouzhou rubbed her chin, looking at Yin Shuo as he continued drawing talismans. She wasn’t sure if her method would work.
After a while, she figured it would be fine. As long as Yin Shuo was here, Yin Hua would have to check in regularly, right?
By the time her dad was done with his business, the rules would likely be drafted, and recruiting people would be easier.
Just as she was thinking, Yin Shuo spoke up. “Master Zhouzhou, I’m done with the drawing. Come have a look?”
“Coming!” Zhouzhou immediately responded, walking over to carefully examine his drawing, pointing out the issues in the process.
Three days later, Yin Hua noticed his grandson was missing.
His grandson was grown up now and had his own affairs, so he didn’t think much of it at first. But when it was time for dinner and Yin Shuo still hadn’t come back, he turned to the butler with a frown. “What’s Shuo been up to these past few days?”
The butler respectfully replied, “Master, Young Master went to Sanqing Temple.”
Yin Hua’s fingers paused, and his brows furrowed. His voice immediately rose. “Where did he go?”
The butler, sensing the tension, lowered his voice but was clear. “To Sanqing Temple.”
“To Sanqing Temple? Why?” Yin Hua slammed his hand on the table, furious.
The butler hesitated before speaking, but he eventually said quietly, “Young Master went there to study with Miss Zhouzhou.”
Yin Hua went silent at first, but the butler could feel the cold and intense aura emanating from him. He immediately held his breath, too scared to speak.
After several long seconds, Yin Hua took deep breaths, trying to calm himself, but couldn’t hold it in anymore. He slammed his hand hard on the table. “He’s gone too far!”
“How dare he know about my poor relationship with Sanqing Temple and still go there, of all places, to study? Does he think I’m worse than Li Yuanming?!”
The butler cautiously reminded, “Master, he’s studying with Miss Zhouzhou.”
The butler had quietly observed their competition the other day, and Zhouzhou was indeed very powerful—more so than Yin Hua himself.
Of course, he didn’t dare say that out loud.
Yin Hua’s anger intensified. “I’d rather he were studying with Li Yuanming!”
“He’s my grandson! How dare he study with Li Yuanming’s disciple! Doesn’t that just give Li Yuanming an upper hand over me?!”
Yin Hua was beyond furious, his face turning green with rage.
The butler, slightly afraid, cautiously suggested, “Master, should I find someone to bring Young Master back?”
“What are you waiting for?” Yin Hua shot him a sharp look. “Do you think he hasn’t been embarrassing me enough out there?”
The butler, understanding, didn’t send anyone. He went personally.
Soon, he returned, alone.
Yin Hua’s face darkened. “Where is he?”
The butler lowered his voice even further. “Young Master said he’s too busy studying to be interrupted. He won’t be coming back for the next few days.”
Yin Hua stared in disbelief. “What?”
The butler tried again. “Master, should I go find him again?”
Yin Hua’s eyebrows knitted tightly. “Find him? No need!”
He was utterly furious. He never expected his own grandson would betray him like this.
“Don’t look for him anymore! If he’s so capable, let him change his surname! Don’t ever come back to my house again!”
