Chapter 264: “Why Are You Just Getting Here?!”
Zhouzhou sat in a chair like a little tyrant, her chubby legs propped up on her knees, struggling slightly due to her plumpness. Grandpa Xi sat cross-legged beside her, cheering her on like a boss, while the floor was littered with treasures. Wu Dongfeng lay there with a bruised and battered face.
The little tyrant held a whip in one hand, her chubby paw shaking it as it landed firmly on Wu Dongfeng with a loud “crack,” causing anyone who heard it to instinctively flinch.
Zhouzhou bared her little tiger teeth and asked fiercely, “Where are the treasures? Hand them all over! If you hide even one, I’ll whip you ten times!”
She looked just like a bandit.
Qin Lie helplessly massaged his forehead. He knew this would happen!
Everyone else couldn’t help but twitch their mouths, not knowing what to say. Only money could make her risk herself as bait.
Wu Dongfeng had thought he was in control, but he had unwittingly let a wolf into his house.
Regret? Absolutely. Deep regret.
Wu Dongfeng’s intestines were practically tied in knots from regret. Why did he have to provoke this little demon? He had underestimated them, not considering Grandpa Xi a threat due to his age and poor health. He thought he could easily handle him.
But just as he was about to make his move, a small head popped out from behind Grandpa Xi, followed by a short leg that kicked him straight into a wall, accidentally breaking down the door to his secret chamber. Then things got even worse.
The little girl’s eyes lit up, and in a blink, she had emptied his secret chamber of all treasures, not even sparing a single piece of unused yellow paper! A bandit, she was nothing but a bandit!
He almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. Enraged, he tried to attack her but was no match. The little girl, despite her young age, had incredible strength. One punch shattered his kneecap, yet he still had to limp and hand over his hard-earned treasures.
She wasn’t naive; he was the naive one, the big fool!
Wu Dongfeng deeply regretted his actions. The whip lashed his body, making him shudder. He reluctantly pulled out a bank card hidden under the table and handed it over respectfully.
Zhouzhou took the card and glanced at the table with admiration. “You guys are really good at hiding money.”
No wonder her master said it’s a man’s talent.
She sternly whipped him ten times. “For hiding money and being dishonest! Got any more? Hand it over!”
“Stop, please…” Wu Dongfeng lay on the ground, clutching his head in surrender. He took off his shoes, pulled out the insoles, and handed over another bank card. “This is really the last one. I swear.”
Zhouzhou pinched her nose, leaning back to avoid the smell. For the first time, she hesitated to touch money. She looked at Grandpa Xi, who was sitting in the corner, and asked him to take it.
Once he had the card, she asked, “Any more?”
She raised her hand, threatening Wu Dongfeng with the whip.
Wu Dongfeng shook his head frantically, “Really, no more!”
Even after another whip, he still insisted there was no more.
Seeing her daughter had stripped him bare, Qin Lie finally cleared his throat lightly.
Hearing the noise, Zhouzhou turned and her eyes lit up. She jumped off the chair, running toward him with her arms open, “Daddy!”
Qin Lie bent down, picked her up, and gave her a light pat on the bottom, warning her with a glance, “I’ll deal with you when we get home.”
Zhouzhou shrank her neck in fear, her chubby face trying to please him as she rubbed her cheek against his, softly saying, “Daddy, don’t be angry. Anger makes you old. I’ll make you younger.”
She pouted and kissed his face, calling out “one year younger,” “two years younger,” with each kiss.
Qin Lie almost burst out laughing but managed to keep a stern face. This little troublemaker, he had told her not to endanger herself for money again, and here she was, repeating the same mistake. He couldn’t let her off easily.
He kept a stern expression, genuinely angry, making Zhouzhou panic. She called out uneasily, “Daddy.”

Qin Lie, although heart-melted, was determined not to relent easily. He looked at Wen Jing, signaling her to handle the situation.
Wen Jing walked over to Wu Dongfeng, hands behind her back, looking down at him. “Practitioner of dark arts?”
Wu Dongfeng looked up and, seeing her badge, his pupils shrank in fear.
Just as Wen Jing was about to speak further, Wu Dongfeng suddenly threw himself to the ground, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender, crying with snot and tears, “Why are you just getting here?!”
Wen Jing: “…”
Anyone who didn’t know better might think she was there to rescue him. It was hard to imagine how much psychological trauma Zhouzhou had caused him. Wen Jing’s mouth twitched as she took out the dragon cuffs to restrain him. Normally, she would need to seal his powers, but Zhouzhou had already dispersed them.
Wen Jing could hardly bear to look.
Wu Dongfeng was utterly compliant, not causing any trouble at all. He obediently got into the car and, upon seeing the law enforcement officials, looked at them as if they were his saviors. Before they could question him, he eagerly confessed all his crimes and even asked, “I’ve committed so many evil deeds. I’ll be locked up for life, right?”
The elders of the Law Enforcement Hall: “???”
Was he mocking them? Or had he gone mad?
They looked at Wen Jing in confusion. Wen Jing could barely keep her composure, waving her hand to indicate they should imprison him. Wu Dongfeng expressed his gratitude all the way. When he passed by Zhouzhou, he trembled and scurried away quickly.
The elders were startled, thinking he might escape, but then saw him quickly run into the cell, lock the door himself, and curl up in the corner, seemingly relieved.
Was he afraid she might come in and beat him up again?
The man must be out of his mind.
Everyone was baffled, never suspecting that the tiniest person present was the real cause of all this.
After dealing with Wu Dongfeng, Qin Lie took Zhouzhou home. Zhouzhou tried to appease him the entire way, but his expression remained stern, indicating she had truly angered him this time.
Feeling her legs go weak, Zhouzhou slumped against him, her chubby little body sagging, her double chin resting on his shoulder, and her mouth trembling like a wave, her big, dark eyes filling with tears.
Grandma Qin’s heart ached at the sight. “Oh my, what happened to our Zhouzhou? Who bullied you?”
Qin Lie snorted, “Bullied? It would be good enough if she didn’t bully others.”
Zhouzhou pouted, embarrassed to have her true nature exposed, and squirmed in his arms, trying to hide. Qin Lie, however, set her down on the ground.
Sensing trouble, Zhouzhou quickly wrapped her short legs around his, refusing to let go. Qin Lie, amused by her antics, let go and allowed her to cling to him.
He then recounted the entire incident to Grandma Qin, not missing a single detail, including how Zhouzhou ate the last drugged candy before pretending to faint and leaving with Wu Dongfeng.
Grandma Qin’s eyelid twitched. She couldn’t believe so much had happened in just one day and looked at her granddaughter in shock, her face turning pale. She instantly understood why her son was so angry and, gritting her teeth, forced herself to look away from the pitiful little girl, saying sternly, “She does need to be taught a lesson.”
The child was too bold.
Seeing her say this, Zhouzhou trembled. After a moment, realizing she couldn’t avoid it, she suddenly let go of Qin Lie’s leg, fetched her small stool, placed it in front of him, and lay on it. Glancing up at him, she said in a muffled voice, “Daddy, you can spank me.”
