Chapter 326: Am I Fierce?
“Kidnapping?!”
In the classroom, Huo Ji’an’s mouth opened wide in astonishment. The bodyguard stared at them, dropping the candy in his hand, his eyes filled with shock.
Discussing kidnapping his young master right in front of him—shouldn’t he fulfill his duty as a bodyguard and detain these “little kidnappers” first?
Huo Ji’an’s gaze was filled with confusion, finally landing on Zhouzhou. “Chubby girl, are you short of money? I have some here.”
Saying this, he started to pull out a bank card.
Zhouzhou held his hand down, shaking her head. “It’s not really about money. We want your dad to come back. Fifth Brother said if he thinks you’re in danger, he’ll rush back. That way, you can have him accompany you to the parent-child activity.”
Qin Nan nodded in agreement, his expression confident. “Nothing is scarier than a kidnapping. Your dad will definitely come back.”
Huo Ji’an’s eyes lit up at these words, and then he snorted lightly, feigning indifference. “Forget it, I don’t really care.”
Despite his words, his eyes betrayed his true feelings.
Zhouzhou was not in a hurry, quietly watching him. Sure enough, after a few seconds, Huo Ji’an cleared his throat and said, “Alright, since you all want to play, I’ll join you.”
He emphasized, “I’m only doing this because you are my friends.”
“Got it.” Zhouzhou puffed her cheeks, thinking how stubborn he was.
“So, how do we start?” Zhouzhou asked, having only seen kidnappers demanding ransom, never playing the part herself.
“I have a plan.” Qin Nan patted his chest confidently and waved his small hand, “Follow me!”
With that, he marched forward. The group followed, the bodyguard hurrying to keep up, needing to watch over these little rascals.
Qin Nan led them to an abandoned classroom. The door was unlocked, and inside it was a mess, dust floating in the air. Zhouzhou peeked inside, coughing as she retreated two steps.
Qin Nan, however, was pleased. “This is perfect.”
“Perfect for what?” Huo Ji’an asked, puzzled.
“The scene.”
“If we’re going to kidnap, it needs to be convincing. You sit there, look miserable, and cry your hardest to make your dad come rescue you. You’re the star of this act. Whether he comes back depends on your performance.”
Hearing this, Huo Ji’an tensed up, nodding seriously.
Qin Nan pulled out a camera from who knows where, setting it up, holding a clapperboard, and clicked it. “Scene one of ‘Finding Daddy,’ Action!”
Zhouzhou stood there, bewildered, not understanding what he meant.
Qin Bei explained, “These are props Fifth Brother got from his dad. ‘Action’ means start.”
“Oh, oh.” Zhouzhou nodded, half understanding.
“Actors, take your places,” Qin Nan said again.
Qin Bei hurriedly pushed Huo Ji’an to sit where indicated.
Huo Ji’an sat down as directed.
Qin Nan tried to sit in a chair to check the camera, but the camera was too high. He had to stand on the chair, adjusting the angle, frowning as he looked at Huo Ji’an through the lens.
“Tie him to the chair with a rope. And Huo Ji’an, your face is too pale, it doesn’t look like you’ve been kidnapped. We need some fake injuries.”

“Injuries?”
Zhouzhou’s eyes lit up as she rushed over, waving her fists. “I’ll do it!”
Fighting was her forte.
“Hey, hey, hey…” The others hurriedly stopped her, Qin Feng tightly holding her fists, afraid she might really hit someone, his face full of fear.
Huo Ji’an, too, covered his head in fright.
If a chubby girl punched him, his dad would definitely come back—if only to attend his funeral.
Seeing her stop, Qin Bei sighed in relief. “Makeup will do, no need for real injuries.”
“Oh, alright.” Zhouzhou withdrew her hand, seemingly a bit disappointed, causing everyone to swallow nervously.
Qin Feng quickly pulled her aside, warning, “Zhouzhou, let’s stay here. Don’t get in the shot, or we’ll ruin it.”
“Okay, okay.” Zhouzhou didn’t quite understand, but she nodded obediently.
Everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Qin Bei rubbed some dirt from the ground onto Huo Ji’an’s face and messed up his hair, making him look convincingly disheveled.
Qin Nan nodded in satisfaction, returning to his director’s chair.
Qin Bei played the kidnapper, looking around, and found a stick. Pointing it at the camera, he shouted fiercely, “Hand over the money, one million by Friday, or you’ll never see your son again. And don’t call the police, or I’ll kill him!”
The bodyguard thought to himself, watching them, quite amused. How many TV dramas had they watched?
Qin Nan frowned. “Not fierce enough.”
“I’ll do it!” Zhouzhou eagerly raised her hand, grabbed a brick, and performed a hand-chop, then repeated Qin Bei’s lines, baring her small teeth.
Afterward, she beamed, “How about that, Fifth Brother, am I fierce?”
She bared her teeth again, making a claw with her small hand, imitating a tiger’s roar, feeling very fierce.
Qin Nan looked at her, speechless, then waved his hand, “Change, change.”
Fierce? More like adorably fierce.
With her as a kidnapper, who wouldn’t want to kidnap her back home themselves?
Hearing this, Zhouzhou was a bit upset, looking at him, “Why not?”
She thought she was very fierce.
Qin Bei held back his laughter, pulling her aside, and said to Qin Feng, “You go.”
Qin Feng stepped forward, instinctively smiling at the camera, then recited his lines, “Uncle Huo, please come back by Friday, or you’ll never see Huo Ji’an again. And don’t tell the police.”
Qin Nan looked at him, expressionless, and critiqued, “No need to call the police for you. And ‘please’? You’re a kidnapper, a kidnapper! Act like it!”
Qin Feng apologized, feeling a bit self-conscious.
His acting was terrible, and he couldn’t be fierce.
None of their performances were convincing. What now?
Suddenly, Qin Nan’s eyes caught sight of the bodyguard, who was watching while sucking on a lollipop. His eyes brightened, “You do it!”
The bodyguard, enjoying the show, was startled to see all eyes on him. Pointing at himself, he asked, “Me?”
“Yes, you.”
Qin Nan urged, “Hurry up, don’t waste time.”
Alright then.
The bodyguard bit down on his lollipop, deciding to play along.
He pulled out a knife from his pocket, stepping into the center, instantly in character. His face hardened, twirling the knife expertly. The knife touched Huo Ji’an’s cheek, his eyes glaring at the camera.
“Mr. Huo, you have until Friday to hand over one million. If you’re late, I’ll chop off one of his fingers each day. No fingers left, we’ll start with toes. Let’s see how long your son can last.”
“And no police, or else.” His voice dropped menacingly. “You know the consequences.”
With that, he lifted his hand suddenly, pretending to stab towards Huo Ji’an’s neck.
“Ah—” Huo Ji’an screamed, instinctively shouting, “Daddy, help!”
Qin Feng and Qin Bei were both startled, their faces pale.
Only Qin Nan, excited, shouted, “Cut!”
