As the car came to a halt, Jinbao suddenly darted towards the Ye household. It sniffed the air as it ran, as if sensing something. Zhouzhou quickly followed suit.

Ye Lingfeng had yet to return, and with no one at home, Zhouzhou easily unlocked the door with her fingerprint. Jinbao stood at the entrance, seemingly wanting to enter but unable to due to the closed door. It mewed anxiously “meowing” in frustration.

Zhouzhou approached and opened the door for it. Jinbao promptly darted inside, its paws reaching for the drawer on Ye Lingfeng’s bedside table.
