Zhao Xinghua, terrified by her words, immediately sobered up. He coughed lightly and said seriously, “Oh, I didn’t mean that. I meant if you like it, I’ll get you more.”

Zhouzhou crossed her chubby arms and huffed, turning her head away. She was truly angry now! No amount of milk bowls could appease her!

Ye Lingfeng also cast a sinister look at Zhao Xinghua, sneering, “You’re quite the smooth talker, aren’t you?”

Hearing this, Ye Lingfeng pinched her chubby cheeks and smiled, “Alright, I’ll think about what I want.”

“Uh-huh!” Zhouzhou nodded vigorously, not stingy at all in front of him.

Zhouzhou’s mouth dropped open in surprise, “Uncle, you like candy too?” She reached into her bag and pulled out three candies, handing them to him, “All for you, Uncle, eat up.”

He wasn’t interested in candy, just thought the little girl was as sweet as candy and wanted to keep it with him to remember her.

Zhouzhou, unaware of his thoughts, stuffed another candy into his pocket and peeled one for herself, sitting next to him on a nearby stone.

Her short legs dangled happily, and she clinked her candy against his, “Cheers, Uncle, let’s eat together.”

“Alright.” Xi Mo, unable to refuse, sat with the childish little girl, enjoying the candy. The sweetness spread in his mouth, warming his heart. He looked down at the little girl, his eyes full of warmth.

Zhouzhou ate her candy happily, her eyes squinting with joy. She tilted her head and asked, “Uncle, is it good?”

“Delicious.”

“Next time Daddy gives me more candy, I’ll bring it for you. We’ll eat together.”

“Okay.” Xi Mo readily agreed, enjoying the little girl’s affection.

Zhouzhou, too, swayed her short legs happily, snuggling closer to him. After finishing their candy, they got up to start training.

Xi Mo, naturally, held nothing back, teaching her everything he knew. Zhouzhou learned diligently.

After training with Xi Mo, she would run off to find others to spar with, testing her new moves.
