Chapter 761: Uncle Tricks the Kid
“Dou Qiang!” Commander stormed in with a stern face, kicked open the door, and shot him a fierce glare.
Dou Qiang, caught off guard by the sudden appearance, instinctively shrank his neck and took a step back, feeling embarrassed.
Commander gritted his teeth silently and then turned his attention to Zhouzhou. His expression immediately softened, and he smiled warmly, “Zhouzhou, how do you find our place? If there’s anything you don’t like, just let us know.”
Zhouzhou looked up at him, gave a sweet smile, and her chubby face lit up with two little dimples. After thinking for a moment, she nodded and said, “Actually, there’s one thing.”
“What is it?” Commander’s heart leapt. He asked eagerly.
Zhouzhou straightened her small face and said seriously, “The trial levels is too low; it’s not stimulating at all.”
Commander turned to Xi Mo with a sharp look, “Which level did Zhouzhou just attempt?”
Xi Mo pointed to the screen.
Upon seeing the details, Commander’s mouth twitched, but his eyes grew brighter, “Change it–immediately increase the difficulty!”
He gave Xi Mo a meaningful glance, signaling him to raise the difficulty. He was very curious about where this little girl’s limits lay.
Xi Mo nodded, as he had already sent someone to make the adjustments.
Commander, not wanting to leave, pulled up a chair and sat down, “Zhouzhou, start with this hell-level difficulty as a warm-up. We need to get a rough idea before adjusting the difficulty properly.”
Hearing this, Dou Qiang and the others couldn’t help but twitch their eyelids. Hell-level, warm-up… does this combination really make sense?
However, remembering Zhouzhou’s performance, they couldn’t say a word. It seemed quite fitting.
For Zhouzhou, that level of difficulty was really nothing.
“Okay, okay,” Zhouzhou vigorously nodded her head.
In reality, she didn’t find the previous level that easy. It was indeed difficult, but after doing it repeatedly, it just became less interesting.
Next, it turned into Zhouzhou’s personal showcase.
Everyone else was temporarily sidelined as Zhouzhou was given a chance to try it out first.
They had no objections and took their positions, eyes glued to the screen showing Zhouzhou.
It was the same level as before, but this time it tested her vision, so Zhouzhou’s eyes were covered.
This made the difficulty level higher.
Previously, she could find the pattern of the infrared beams by their emission, but now that wasn’t possible.
Xi Mo scrambled the infrared beam patterns again to prevent Zhouzhou from relying on the earlier pattern.
Zhouzhou noticed this and tilted her head, her chubby little ears twitching occasionally.
“That girl is really something,” Commander laughed as he observed her actions.
Without sight, the only sense she could rely on was hearing.
“Of course,” Xi Mo replied without modesty.
Commander glanced at him, somewhat surprised. It was rare for him to be so openly expressive. He only showed such praise when dealing with Zhouzhou.
Skinny Monkey and the others were practically beaming with pride. That’s their boss–so impressive!

Dou Qiang glanced at Commander and then discreetly moved next to Cui Kun. He nudged his arm and whispered, “Hey, Cui Kun, how did you transfer to the Fourth Bureau? Share some tips.”
Cui Kun remained silent, staring straight ahead.
Dou Qiang suddenly felt a gaze upon him and had a bad premonition. He cautiously looked back and saw Commander looking at him with a dark expression.
He quickly straightened up and pretended nothing happened.
Commander was infuriated and wanted to give him a good thrashing, but he swallowed the words. He feared that if he pushed too hard, Dou Qiang might actually leave.
He was already looking for an excuse to get out, and Commander wasn’t about to give him that opportunity.
After staring at him for a few seconds, Commander’s gaze returned to Zhouzhou.
Dou Qiang sighed in relief but felt a pang of disappointment. Why couldn’t Commander just say “get out”?
Unaware of her own impact, Zhouzhou was still focused on figuring out how to clear the level.
She initially tried to rely on the sounds from the infrared beams, but there was no sound at all.
So, there was only one option left.
Zhouzhou pursed her lips, took out a copper coin from her bag, and crouched down. With a slight flick of her wrist, the coin rolled across the ground.
As soon as the infrared beams detected the coin, traps were triggered one after another.
The coin rolled and triggered more traps with each touch.
Zhouzhou concentrated, her double chin tense.
Finally, when the coin rolled out of the infrared area, it came to a stop.
Zhouzhou repeated the process, throwing coins to the middle and upper parts of the area.
Two minutes later, a soft smile appeared on her face. She looked extremely confident.
She marched towards the infrared beams with determination, swiftly moving through them without injury.
At that moment, Xi Mo suddenly clicked a key on the keyboard.
Instantly, the infrared patterns were scrambled again.
Zhouzhou’s small body twisted in mid-air, but she couldn’t avoid it. A quick cut appeared on her little leg.
Zhouzhou stumbled but quickly adjusted, avoiding further attacks by quickly pivoting on her toes.
The rhythm was disrupted, and the patterns she had figured out became useless.
Soon, Zhouzhou’s body accumulated more injuries.
Seeing this, Commander looked at Xi Mo, while the others also looked at him with some dismay.
Captain Xi’s niece was no easy challenge. The severity of his actions was even harsher than for outsiders.
Understanding their thoughts, Xi Mo said nothing. His gaze was fixed on Zhouzhou, his fists clenched tightly.
On the screen, Zhouzhou’s injuries kept increasing.
There was no way to slack off now.
Zhouzhou bit her lip, her covered eyes showing a determined glint.
In the next moment, she stopped avoiding and directly faced the traps.
She took out a peach wood sword and struck down the incoming projectiles one by one.
After ten minutes, the room finally fell silent.
Zhouzhou walked to the door, her legs weakening. She almost fell, panting heavily as she sat down on the floor.
She removed her eye mask, ignored her injuries, and looked at the downed projectiles with pride in her eyes.
Suddenly, she noticed something and her expression froze.
Her chubby little hand touched her head in disbelief.
There, a piece of her Fortune Hair had been sliced in half, turning into a little leek among a bunch of scallions.
Zhouzhou’s face went blank, and in the next second, she cried out, “My Fortune Hair–!”
