Chapter 923: Call Him Here
“Where is he? Haven’t found him yet?”
Inside a luxurious house, Wu Wei hung his arm, his expression filled with anger as he shouted.
His subordinate stood before him, frozen in fear, barely shaking his head before a loud “bang” resounded, and he collapsed to the ground.
Those nearby widened their eyes in terror.
Wu Wei let out a cold laugh as he holstered his gun, “Useless trash.”
His icy gaze swept around the room, and he said, “If you don’t find him by tonight, then you can forget about living.”
With those words, the hearts of all his subordinates sank.
At that moment, the front door was suddenly kicked open with a loud “bang.” Wu Wei looked up to see a little girl standing at the entrance, her hair styled in a wild, towering bun, looking rather foolish.
He focused on her height, and a dangerous glint flashed in his eyes.
Zhouzhou placed her hands on her chubby hips, lifting her plump chin as she fixed her gaze on him and said, “Hey, old shorty, your auntie is here!”
So it’s her!
Hearing that nickname, Wu Wei immediately recognized her as the one who had fought him in the hotel, causing his injuries.
He touched the wound on his shoulder, licking his cheek with a venomous glare, “You stinky little brat, you dare to come back.”
Zhouzhou scrunched her nose in displeasure, “You’re the one who stinks! I smell good!”
Wu Wei sneered, “Then I’ll make you smell even better.”
As he spoke, his gun pointed directly at Zhouzhou, but before he could pull the trigger, a bullet whizzed past and struck his wrist first.
“Ah–”
Blood spurted out, and Wu Wei cried out in pain, rolling off the sofa, enraged, “Shoot them! Kill them all!”
The next moment, gunfire erupted.
However, the father and daughter showed no reaction, standing firm, while his men fell to the ground one by one.
Seeing this, Wu Wei’s pupils dilated in shock.
Ye Lingfeng shrugged and walked over, looking down at him, his foot pressing on Wu Wei’s wound, “So you’re the one who bullied my daughter?”
“It was him, it was him!” Zhouzhou waddled over on her short legs, emboldened by having someone to back her up. She complained, “Daddy, he hit me! It hurt so much, and he even wanted to kill me.”
“Is that so?” Ye Lingfeng’s lips curled into a cold smile.
“I’m sorry! Please spare me!” Wu Wei pleaded.
Ye Lingfeng glanced at Wu Wei’s hand, which was stealthily creeping toward the table, without looking away. He raised his hand and covered Zhouzhou’s eyes before a shot rang out, hitting Wu Wei’s other hand.
“Ah!” Wu Wei cried out, rolling on the ground in pain. The gun he had just reached for fell within his grasp, but he was too injured to pick it up.
“Really not obedient.” Zhouzhou frowned, dragging him out and searching his body. She pulled out several guns, even finding one hidden in his boot.
She disdainfully tossed them aside, thought for a moment, and then picked one up to put it in her bag.
It was all money; she couldn’t just throw it away.

Wu Wei gritted his teeth, staring at them with hatred in his eyes, “Who are you really?!”
Since when did someone so formidable come to North of Myanmar, and why didn’t he know?
Zhouzhou snorted, “You’re not qualified to know our names.”
As she spoke, she tied him up with a rope to prevent him from pulling any tricks.
Wu Wei lowered his head, filled with malice.
Just wait, his men would arrive soon, and then he would tear them apart!
Lost in his thoughts, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.
Chen Tuo walked in, covered in blood, though none was his own.
He wiped his face and said, “Boss, everyone is taken care of.”
Skinny Monkey, not to be outdone, chimed in, “Boss, all of his subordinates are dead.”
What?
Wu Wei shot up his head in disbelief, “Impossible!”
He didn’t believe it!
How could they possibly kill all his men!
Upon hearing this, Chen Tuo frowned, clearly displeased, “Are you doubting our abilities? Ha, I guessed you wouldn’t believe it, so I’ll show you to put your doubts to rest.”
With that, he pulled out his phone and showed Wu Wei several photos.
These were taken just moments ago. He had learned this trick from Zhouzhou, planning to sell them back to Zhao for cash.
Each head was worth money after all.
So he took them clearly, without missing a single one.
As Wu Wei looked at the familiar faces in the photos, his lips trembled, and his face turned pale.
They were all gone–his thousand elite men, wiped out!
In just this short amount of time, who on earth were they?
In an instant, fear filled his gaze as he looked at them.
Ye Lingfeng stepped on his chest, pressing down slightly. Wu Wei felt as if his ribs were about to snap, his breath caught in his throat as he stared at Ye Lingfeng with terror.
“Spare, spare me.” He stuttered.
Ye Lingfeng glanced at him and said, “Message De Qin and tell him to come here.”
What?
Wu Wei’s pupils constricted, and he immediately shook his head, “No way!”
“Hmm?” Ye Lingfeng’s tone rose at the end, pressing down harder with his foot, the sound of ribs cracking already audible.
Wu Wei tilted his head, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his face contorted in pain.
He forced out a few words through gritted teeth, “I’m doing this for your sake. De Qin is much stronger than I am. No one can leave alive after provoking him.”
Most importantly, if De Qin found out he had betrayed him, he would definitely kill him.
Though they were sworn brothers, people like them had no real emotions.
If there was even a hint of sentiment, they wouldn’t have survived until today.
It was purely a matter of mutual benefit.
But he wasn’t lying; De Qin was terrifying.
“You don’t need to worry about that. If he kills us, that would be helping you get revenge, shouldn’t you be happy?” Ye Lingfeng said nonchalantly.
Wu Wei struggled to smile, still too afraid to move.
Ye Lingfeng pulled out his gun, covered Zhouzhou’s eyes, and raised his hand to shoot through both of Wu Wei’s legs, precisely hitting the knees in a symmetrical manner.
Ye Lingfeng looked on with satisfaction, nodding in approval.
Wu Wei was in so much pain that he couldn’t even roll anymore.
It hurt–too much.
He gasped, nodding vigorously, “I’ll, I’ll tell!”
“Why couldn’t you say so earlier?” Ye Lingfeng pulled out his phone, opened De Qin’s contact, and held it to Wu Wei’s ear, while carelessly pressing the gun against his forehead.
The cold touch sent a shiver down Wu Wei’s spine, and he swallowed hard, no longer daring to make any sudden movements.
“Hello.” De Qin’s voice came through.
Wu Wei steadied himself, struggling to suppress the tremor in his voice. He knew that if he dared to leak any hint of betrayal, Ye Lingfeng would not hesitate to pull the trigger.
He said, “Second Brother, do you have time? Come to my place, I just got some new goods.”
De Qin sounded irritable, “I can’t come, I’ve got a situation here. A development zone just got wiped out. Damn it, if I find out who did it, I’ll kill them!”
