An Extra’s Rise in an Eroge - Chapter 102
Chapter 102: Lilith
After the duel, Alex was sent to the infirmary, escorted by his sister, Cassandra. The class resumed, but Arthur couldn’t ignore the frequent glances his classmates sent his way.
“You’re enjoying the attention, aren’t you?” Alicia teased, her tone light but playful.
Arthur chuckled, leaning slightly back. “Who wouldn’t? Besides, he asked for it.”
“You could have gone a bit easier on him,” Luna said, her voice carrying a hint of concern.
“Yeah,” Alicia chimed in, “you brought him down so quickly. That must’ve really bruised his ego.”
Arthur shrugged casually. “It wasn’t about his ego. He needed a reality check. If he wants to live up to his potential, he has to work harder.”
Eveline, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. “You did the right thing. His strength doesn’t match his identity.”
Their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a sharp voice. “What are you all doing standing around talking?” Instructor Samantha’s piercing gaze cut through the group.
She turned her attention to Arthur. “And you, student Arthur, didn’t I specifically say not to disturb others?”
Arthur straightened up, a respectful look on his face. “Apologies, Instructor. It won’t happen again.”
“Good. Now focus,” Samantha commanded before moving on to supervise other pairs. The students quickly dispersed, resuming their practice.
Half an hour later, the class finally concluded.
As the students began returning their training weapons to the racks, the room gradually filled with chatter.
“So, where to next?” Arthur asked casually, stretching his arms.
“You should check your schedule, Arthur,” Alicia replied, rolling her eyes.
“Why bother? I can just follow you,” Arthur said with a smirk.
“Not for long,” Alicia shot back. “After the next class, our schedules change depending on the courses we’ve selected.”
“But we’ve still got the next class together, right? Just tell me what it is,” Arthur pressed, his grin widening.
Luna sighed, cutting him off. “Next up is Demonology. It’s in the same room as our first lecture. Now stop stalling and let’s go. I heard we have a new teacher this time.”
“A new teacher?” Alicia’s curiosity piqued. “They must be exceptional. Arcane Academy doesn’t hire just anyone.”
As the girls chatted, their excitement growing, Arthur walked alongside them, lost in thought.
‘A new teacher?’ he mused, frowning slightly. ‘That doesn’t add up. If my memory is correct, there shouldn’t be any changes to the faculty. Where did this new teacher come from?’
Pushing the thought aside for the moment, Arthur followed the group to their destination.
When they entered the Demonology classroom, students began filling the seats. Only two remained empty—Alex’s and Cassandra’s. Moments later, the siblings arrived, taking the last spots.
‘Magic sure is convenient,’ Arthur thought as he glanced at Alex. ‘He’s already back to normal.’
The room buzzed with murmurs as students speculated about Alex’s quick recovery, but he ignored the attention and sat down.
The quiet hum of conversation came to an abrupt halt when the door opened, and an enchanting woman walked in.
She entered the room with a presence that commanded attention, her high heels clicking rhythmically against the floor. Every step seemed deliberate, exuding a sensual confidence that left the students captivated.
Her long, jet-black hair cascaded down her back like silk, framing a face that was both elegant and striking. She wore a high-slit office skirt that revealed just enough of her plump legs to leave an impression, the black pantyhose further accentuating their shape. Her pristine white blouse clung tightly to her ample chest, every button seemingly working overtime to hold everything in place.

The way she moved was hypnotic, her hips swaying slightly as if she were aware of the spell she cast over the room. Her devilish smile added a tantalizing edge to her beauty, a smile that promised both knowledge and danger.
When she spoke, her voice was a sultry melody that sent shivers through the air.
“Good morning, class,” she began, her tone smooth and inviting. “I am Isabella West, your new instructor for Demonology.”
The room fell silent, her words pulling everyone into her orbit.
“In this course,” she continued, pacing slowly across the front of the room, “you will learn about demons—their nature, their weaknesses, their attack patterns.” Her gaze lingered on a few students, her piercing eyes making them shift nervously in their seats. “You will also learn how to exploit those weaknesses to emerge victorious… if you’re clever enough.”
Her lips curved into a knowing smile as she asked, “Does everyone understand?”
“Yes, Instructor,” the students replied in unison, their voices carrying an unnatural eagerness.
“Good,” she said, her smile deepening, a flicker of mischief in her expression. “I do enjoy teaching an attentive class.”
Arthur’s eyes narrowed as he observed the room. Something was off. While most of the students looked utterly entranced, he could feel a subtle manipulation in the air.
‘What’s going on here?’ he thought, unsettled by the sudden shift in atmosphere.
[Not everyone’s affected,] Sol chimed in. [Only those with low mental resistance. She’s exuding a charm aura—very subtle, but effective. Enough to dazzle the weak-minded without raising suspicion.]
Arthur frowned. ‘Why would a teacher need to use charm on her students?’
[I don’t she is doing it actively. It seems she is exuding it naturally] Sol paused. [Regardless, be careful. She’s not what she seems. Something about her reeks of danger.]
Arthur leaned back in his seat, watching her closely as she continued her lecture. Her every word was measured, her pacing calculated to keep her audience’s attention locked on her.
Arthur’s gaze sharpened as he observed the instructor pacing the room, her voice effortlessly commanding the students’ focus.
‘Who is she?’ he wondered. ‘She’s not in my memory of the game. Could she be some extra character I overlooked?’
He dismissed the idea immediately. ‘No, that doesn’t make sense. If she’s teaching the S-Class—home to most of the main cast—she can’t be a background character.’
As her heels clicked against the floor, her voice lingered in the air like a seductive spell.
‘Let’s she who you really are” Arthur murmured as he activated his skill, Observer’s gaze, he focused on her, expecting to gather some basic information about this enigmatic instructor.
What he saw nearly made his heart stop. His breath caught in his throat, and a cold sweat broke out on his back as the screen of information appeared before his eyes.

Arthur’s vision blurred for a moment as he processed the information, his mind struggling to reconcile what he’d just uncovered.
‘Lilith?’ he thought, his heart pounding in his chest. ‘The Queen of Succubi? The embodiment of lust herself is here… teaching a demonology class?’
[Arthur, focus!] Sol’s sharp voice jolted him back to reality. [You’re letting your guard down. If you act suspicious, you’ll catch her attention—and trust me, you’re not ready for that.]
‘How am I supposed to stay calm?’ Arthur thought, flustered. ‘She’s not just any demon. She’s an overlord—a powerhouse humanity can’t even hope to challenge. You know this, Sol!’
[Would you stop panicking?] Sol’s tone was firm, almost scolding. [Think for a second. This isn’t her real body. It’s just an avatar.]
‘How can you be so sure?’ Arthur asked, still struggling to steady his breathing.
[Because if her true form had descended on Eldora, this world would already be in ruins. And besides, the dimensional cracks aren’t strong enough to let a powerhouse of her level through.]
Arthur swallowed hard, his pulse gradually slowing. ‘That… actually makes sense.’
[Exactly. And if you’d calm down and think, you’d realize the gods wouldn’t sit idly by if one of the Seven Deadly Sins invaded Eldora. Their response would’ve been immediate.]
Arthur nodded slightly, his thoughts starting to clear. ‘Alright, you’re right. I lost my head for a moment.’
Still, unease gnawed at him. ‘But why is she here? The Deadly Sins never got involved in the battles between Eldora and Hell. What’s her goal?’
[That’s up to you to find out,] Sol replied.
But before he could dwell further, a sharp, seductive voice cut through his thoughts.
“Hey, you. Student at the back,” Isabella’s sultry tone sent a chill down his spine. “Are you paying attention to the class?”
Arthur straightened, his face a mix of fluster and forced calm. “Ah—yes, ma’am.”
“It’s not good to lie student.” Her piercing gaze bore into him, a small, knowing smirk tugging at her lips. “From where I’m standing, it looks like your mind is elsewhere.”
Arthur took a steady breath, regaining his composure. “I assure you, Instructor, I was merely momentarily distracted, but my attention remains with the lesson.”
Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned slightly against her desk, her posture exuding confidence and authority. “Well then, let’s test that, shall we?”
