Chapter 1112: Old man Ben regained conciousness Chapter 1112: Old man Ben regained conciousness Star University: Infirmary, Rosie and Cathy were undergoing treatment.

They suffered serious injuries during the attack.

Their admission was kept secret.

Dean Jeroen didn’t want anyone to know about this yet.

Austin and Leola consumed healing liquid as well.

They were all beaten down by the Half-Step Red Mark Warrior.

They understood the gap between the two ranks.

Even if it’s half-step, the gap is so big.

Not everyone can have the opportunity to fight against a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior and return alive.

They had accomplished both while at the Purple Mark Warrior Stage.

They were all inside the same room.

Austin was finding it difficult to control his anger.

Too many things had happened this time.

If they had been late to reach there or if Zack Lockwood hadn’t used his red ring at the right moment, everyone would have died.

Because of this incident, he felt incompetent to protect his own disciple.

“I want to reach Half-Step Red Mark level sooner,” Austin said in a solemn tone while lying on the bed.

Rosie and Cathy were asleep.

They were injected with a healing solution that made them fall asleep.

The solution was working in the meantime.

So only Leola could hear his words.

Her eyes flickered.

“Thanks to your disciple, we are alive.

I will repay the kid soon,” Leola replied.

“Don’t mention it.

I have failed him as well.

To think their Faction Leader dared to attack us.

I’m looking forward to Dean Jerome’s signal.” “As long as he gives permission, I’ll personally kill many of their main elders,” Austin said in a cold tone.

“No one was allowed to do anything,” Old Man Clifford said after opening the door to enter.

He stepped inside.

The door behind him closed automatically.

“Faction Leader,” Austin looked at him with confusion.

He couldn’t understand the meaning behind his words.

Leola was taken aback as well.

Old Man Clifford swept his eyes across everyone.

His gaze fell on Cathy and Rosie, who were unconscious.

He then pulled up a chair before sitting on it.

He then looked at Austin and Leola with a sigh.

“After hearing about the incident from you guys, I went to Dean Jerome to complain,” Old Man Clifford said.

“Leader, what happened then?” Austin asked.

Leola wore a serious expression.

She could tell from the Faction Leader’s expression that the meeting didn’t go well.

Sigh!

“Dean has asked us to be patient for some time,” Old Man Clifford said with a sigh.

“Impossible,” Austin exclaimed in shock.

Leola was dumbfounded as well.

They knew about Dean Jerome.

He didn’t care about the faction battles inside Star University.

But if an outsider attacked, then he wouldn’t hesitate to pay them back.

Both expected the same thing to happen this time.

Yet they were hearing something impossible.

Old Man Clifford was not surprised by their expressions.

He felt the same when he had heard it from him.

“Listen, I was shocked at first.

But he told me the reason.

It’s…” After saying that, he started to tell them about the secret land opening.

If it were an ordinary secret land, it wouldn’t make any difference.

But it was one of the powerful ones that had not been completely explored.

The resources from that secret land could increase the strength of the warriors overnight.

At first, Leola was calm, but when she heard it was that powerful secret land, she was surprised.

It’s not like the news was secret.

But the common news was that there were six months left until that.

From the faction leader’s tone, it seemed the secret land was going to open sooner.

Austin became silent as well.

He was not naive.

No one could overlook a powerful secret land.

No one can afford to miss it.

The treasures inside that secret land can tempt even a powerful Purple Mark Warrior.

A few minutes later, “I hope you understand the reason.

Dean Jerome doesn’t want to miss the secret land opening.

He wants the strength of the Monster Hunting Squad from all factions to increase after the secret land trip.” “If we engage in conflict with Dark Shadow University right now, it would only benefit other forces,” Clifford added further.

Austin then said, “Don’t worry, Faction Leader.

I can wait.

If I ever become a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior, I’ll take the head of old man Ben.” “The situation inside Dark Shadow University is complex.

We should ignore them for the time being.

But this girl will have to stay here.” “Dean Jerome has agreed to give her asylum here.

Maybe we can include her as our fifth Main Elder,” Old Man Clifford said.

“It’s a good idea.

Her disciple has saved Zack Lockwood’s life.

If not for her, he would have been captured by the Auction House Elder,” Austin said.

“I support it as well.

Her inclusion will increase our faction’s strength,” Leola said.

“Good, I’ll deal with the rest of the matters,” he said before leaving.

Not long after coming back to the Thunderflame Faction, he remembered something.

“Dean Jerome wanted Zack Lockwood to become a Black Mark Warrior as soon as possible,” he muttered.

He decided to meet the kid tomorrow.

He knew that kid might be taking a rest right now.

Inside the infirmary, Austin and Leola felt the importance of the secret land.

“It’s time to use the emergency signal to call back the rest of my disciples,” Leola said.

“I’m going to call them back as well,” Austin said.

He had sent many messages to his eldest disciple to return because he wanted to introduce his sixth disciple Zack to everyone.

But his Elder Disciple continued to do missions.

This time he thought his disciple wouldn’t have a choice because it was a rule for everyone to return if they received an emergency signal.

Dark Variant Faction: The Main Elders of the Dark Variant Faction were busy doing their jobs.

One of their jobs was to keep an eye on the Thunderflame Faction.

Right now, they didn’t know what was going on there.

Their Faction Leader was pissed off when they lost sight of Zack Lockwood.

Even the spies couldn’t tell what was going on inside Dark Shadow University.

If they wanted to act against Zack Lockwood, then they could only wait for him to return.

When it comes to Faction Leader Vince, he is currently in seclusion.

He would appear when there was important news.

…

Dark Shadow University: Old Man Ben was undergoing treatment.

He was able to regain consciousness a few hours later.

When he completely remembered everything, his heart filled with rage.

“Aaaaaahhhhh!” He screamed out loud with anger.

Boom!

The shout of the Half-Step Red Mark Warrior shook the whole building.

The patients inside other rooms felt the tremors and oppressive pressure.

Fortunately, the pressure was gone the next second.

Old Man Ben collected his thoughts before calming down.

He realized he was back at the university and admitted inside their own infirmary.

“What happened to the Star University people?” “What happened to the Auction House Elder?” he asked back-to-back questions.

Creak!

The next second, many main elders and some faction leaders entered the room.

Upon seeing them, Old Man Ben asked, “What happened?” Hearing that, one of the main elders stepped forward and explained it to him.

A few minutes later, “I was unconscious,” he said in disbelief.

The attack of the Red Mark Warrior from that kid’s ring flashed before his eyes.

Boom!

A powerful coercion erupted from his body.

He was angry.

The pressure immediately weighed on the Purple Mark Elders.

They immediately lowered their bodies to withstand the pressure.

Only the other Faction Leaders were unaffected.

“Old Man Ben, are you crazy?” A black-haired old man uttered before canceling the pressure.

He was one of the faction leaders here.

When the pressure was gone, Old Man Ben looked at everyone.

His gaze met with the other Faction Leaders.

“You have no idea what I have gone through,” he said in a cold tone.

“We came here to ask you this question.

We heard that the border city was devastated.

The Star University Main Elders have successfully rescued their disciple and returned.” “On the other hand, we lost the life of the Shadow Auction House Elder.

Main Elder Rosie and her disciple betrayed our university,” the black-haired Faction Leader said.

“What?” “The Shadow Auction Elder is gone,” Old Man Ben blurted out.

He clearly remembered asking that elder to kill that kid.

“Yes, he was killed by Star University’s Main Elder.

But we don’t know at whose hands he died,” the black-haired Faction Leader said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, the faces of Old Man Ben changed.

He was sure the Star University’s Main Elders were all beaten down by him at that time.

Only that kid was alive.

He thought that the Shadow Auction House Elder must have found that kid.

But he could have been killed by that ring’s second strike.

Thinking about it, his heart turned cold.

His earlier anger had disappeared.

If he had faced one more strike from that ring, he would have been killed on the spot.
