Noon,

I was practicing inside the essence chamber when I received a call from Master Austin. Upon answering, he asked me to step out of the essence chamber.

I didn’t know what was going on, but I agreed. I stood up and went to the console to turn it off. When the essence chamber returned to normal, I stepped out of it.

The next second, I found Master Austin standing in front of me.

“Master, what is it?” I asked.

“I came here for an important reason. I believe you must have heard about the recent growing rumors,” Austin replied.

Hearing that, I was stunned. Then I recalled the rumor: a possible secret land opening had been found. It was rumored to be a sky rift in the territory of Eclipse University.

“Master, is this about the rift?” I asked.

“You spot on,” Austin said.

Then he explained the content of the discussion that had happened in the meeting hall.

My eyes flashed with surprise. I didn’t expect this to be an opportunity to visit that place.

“Those who can defeat you will be selected. They can participate in tomorrow’s selection with you,” Austin added.

“I’ll do my best,” I replied.

But Austin didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He knew about his disciple’s strength.

“These warriors will enter the rift to explore the place. It could be an old secret land or a new one. But it’s definitely a great opportunity.”

“I will select strong warriors from our Thunderflame Faction. They will have to participate in tomorrow’s selection event.”

“But in order to get that place, you have to defeat the warrior in front of you,” his voice reached everyone’s ears.
