Chapter 1132: Factions’ selection ended!
Star University:
While the Thunderflame Faction’s selection has come to an end, the selection for the other top 10 Factions is still taking place, just like the warriors hidden in the Thunderflame Faction.
Many strong warriors are using this opportunity to rise up, not only in the top 10 Factions. This situation is occurring even in the medium and small-sized factions, where new warriors are showing their faces.
It’s ultimately good for Star University. Dean Jerome is overseeing everything. After learning about the number of strong warriors below Black Mark Rank, he was impressed.
That’s why he usually doesn’t stop the competition between the different factions. Only in a competitive atmosphere can strong warriors rise up.
He believes that after tomorrow’s selection, a team of powerful warriors below Black Mark Rank will be ready. He wonders about the results from other universities, as they too have strong backgrounds.
He just hopes that the rift in the sky leads to a new secret land and not the old one, because the old one has more dangers. It was largely unexplored.
Each time the restrictions for entrance vary, but the strength of the monsters living inside won’t change. They would roam freely around the secret land.
A hint of seriousness flashed in Jerome’s eyes. He just hopes their team would return unharmed and with benefits.
…
From MC’s Perspective:
The following day,
After getting out of bed, I started my morning routine. It didn’t take long for me to complete the work. Then I began to think about my strength.
I’m still one step away from reaching the peak stage. If I have Peak Stage General Rank Strength, then it will give me more confidence.
But it’s a pity that I can’t practice today. The selection event is important, and I’m looking forward to seeing the strong warriors from other factions.
About an hour later,
I got ready and went to the main hall upon receiving the call. When I entered the main hall, I saw Senior Riley, Bethany, Craig, and Gareth. Everyone had arrived before me.
Upon sensing my presence, they looked at me. I nodded to them in response.
Swoosh!
Shortly afterward,
The Main Elders appeared, followed by the Faction Leader Clifford. His gaze fell on everyone before revealing a smile on his face.
“Yesterday, warriors like you appeared in all other factions. It was as if everyone was waiting for this day,” Clifford said.
“I hope you can take part in the final team. The details about the secret land are unknown, but only by going through danger can you attain opportunities. So don’t miss the chance,” he added.
Hearing that, my eyes gleamed with excitement. I felt like this secret land was tailor-made for me since no Black Mark Warrior or above can enter.
Then I’m basically invisible among the other warriors.
“Let’s go to the duel arena,” he said before disappearing.
The main elders vanished as well. Then we left the main hall and started heading toward the outer hall. On the way, no one uttered a single word.
Everyone’s expression was serious. My heart wanted to speak to them, but I stopped myself from doing so. Everyone has their own preparations and calculations.
I thought there was no need to disturb them. When we reached the outer hall, I saw many warriors coming from all the paths.

Everyone was heading toward the duel arena. Upon seeing us, a commotion occurred, especially since I felt the gazes of many people.
Previously, I had defeated opponents from the Elemental Faction. I was already foreseeing that people would challenge me. A smile curved my mouth at the thought.
I ignored the gazes and started following the group. Soon, we arrived at the magnificent building—it was the massive structure of the duel arena.
Last time, I fought against Ronnie Seth at this place. Then we entered the office. The staff saw us and led us to another hall.
It was a massive hall where all of us would be present. When the match-up was called, we should enter the platform to fight.
Then I saw two massive glass rooms on the second floor. One was for the main elders of all the factions, and the other was for the Faction leaders.
The staff was explaining things to everyone.
Gasp!
Some of us couldn’t help but take in a cold breath of air. It was already a miracle for everyone to gather in one place, especially the Dark Variant Faction and Thunderflame Faction.
I hoped the main elders from both factions wouldn’t fight against each other.
“Zack Lockwood, others will be coming here. It’s forbidden to fight; otherwise, you will be disqualified,” the staff said before leaving.
Hearing that, I was left speechless. Then I realized it must be because of the Elemental Faction.
“Senior brother Zack, the Elemental Faction guys might cause problems,” Riley said to me.
I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I thought no one would speak, but he initiated the conversation. It was surprising, so I decided to respond.
“I don’t think there will be any strong warriors from their faction,” I replied casually.
Bethany, Craig, and Gareth weren’t surprised by the answer; they had watched those footage online.
Even Riley thought the same. Zack Lockwood’s strength was already too strong for them, so the defeat of the Elemental Faction was not unjust.
“You are wrong!”
“You have defeated only average guys,” a voice came from behind.
Hearing that, I turned around and saw a group of five people with the Blazing Flame Crest walking into the room.
My eyes turned solemn because I had never seen them before.
“Senior brothers and sisters, do you guys know them?” I asked.
Riley recognized the speaker but didn’t know the others. Similarly, Gareth didn’t know anyone, but Bethany and Craig recognized each.
“Henry, your mouth is as sharp as ever,” Riley said.
“Oh, it’s you. You have made into the team as well. It seems the Thunderflame Faction doesn’t have anyone apart from him,” Harry said with a chuckle.
“Henry,” I thought to myself.
I felt strong pressure from the guy. He is Peak Stage General, and his strength should not be lower than Riley’s and the others’.
But the way he spoke suggested he had defeated Senior Brother Riley before; I didn’t want to inquire about it.
Henry sneered after seeing his old friend remain silent. He then turned towards Zack Lockwood and walked up to him.
Seeing that, the expressions of Riley and the others changed. They wanted to stop him, but they were blocked by the warriors behind Henry.
On the other hand, I looked at everything with mild amusement. Even the actions of the Thunderflame Faction members surprised me.
“Do they still underestimate me?” I thought.
“I know you have defeated Elemental Faction warriors and damaged our reputation. If there is a chance, I will fight against you,” Henry said angrily, as if fire were going to come from his nostrils.
“We will see,” I replied.
“Harumph,” Henry snorted before turning around to leave.
He was going to stand away from them.
Riley and the others sighed in relief. I felt disappointed after looking at their actions.
Then I turned towards the wide window and started looking at the scenes outside.
Not long after, another team of five members entered the room. They were warriors from the Cutting Silver Faction.
Upon seeing the Thunderflame Faction, their expressions changed drastically. They were about to walk toward them but stopped after seeing Zack Lockwood.
Henry saw this scene, and his mouth curved into an arc.
He then said, “I didn’t expect warriors from Cutting Silver to arrive so soon.”
Hearing that, they turned towards Henry and his group. They started walking toward them.
On the other hand, I shook my head. It didn’t take long for the other Elemental Factions to arrive here one by one. Everyone didn’t forget to shoot a glance at me.
They didn’t hide their hostility. They openly discussed eliminating the Thunderflame Faction warriors.
I told Senior Riley and the others to remain silent.
A few minutes later,
Another team walked into the room. They were from the Dark Variant Faction. The person leading them was none other than Hidden Ace Stephen. Ronnie Seth was among their team as well.
My eyes flashed with a gleam.
Stephen stopped and looked at everyone before finding the Thunderflame Faction. When he saw Zack Lockwood, he revealed a smile on his face.
He then turned around and started walking up to him.
Quiet!
The whole place grew quiet. Even the Elemental Faction’s team had stopped their discussion. They turned towards the Dark Variant Faction and the Thunderflame Faction.
They knew that among the faction rivalries, the rivalry between the Dark Variant and Thunderflame Factions was high.
Stephen stood opposite Zack Lockwood.
“I have long waited to fight against you. But you had rejected my previous challenge. This time you can’t say no,” Stephen said.
Hearing that, I sighed inwardly.
“If there is a match-up, I will fight,” I replied.
“Good,” Stephen uttered before returning to his group.
