Chapter 961: Part 1: Unknown Ancient Healing Technique Chapter 961: Part 1: Unknown Ancient Healing Technique From MC’s Perspective: I ignored their whispers, their curious glances, and continued eating my meal.

When I finished, I rose from the table, carrying my tray back to its place, feeling the weight of their stares on my back.

Let them watch.

It didn’t matter.

I had more important things to focus on.

I left the canteen and pulled out the map, tracing the path to the Healing Palace.

The route was simple, winding through quiet courtyards and past towering buildings.

My footsteps echoed softly in the still air.

After a few minutes of walking, I arrived at another grand manor.

It was as imposing as the Golden Lightning Palace, its towering walls carved with intricate symbols I couldn’t decipher.

My thoughts were interrupted as the enormous, ornate gates in front of me swung open with a low creak.

Elder Ann must have sensed my arrival.

I stepped through the gates and found myself in yet another sprawling courtyard.

Unlike the other palaces, this one was filled with life-rows upon rows of carefully cultivated herbal plants stretched out before me, their vibrant green leaves catching the light.

The air here was different, heavy with the scent of earth and the subtle fragrance of herbs.

I breathed it in, feeling a strange sense of calm wash over me.

As I wandered, taking in the sight of the lush garden, a voice rang out from behind me.

“Zack Lockwood, you came at the perfect time.” I turned around to see none other than Elder Ann herself.

She stood there, her green hair glowing softly under the sunlight, a knowing smile on her lips.

“Master,” I greeted her with a respectful nod.

She inclined her head in acknowledgment, her eyes gleaming with a mix of amusement and wisdom.

“I heard from Elder Austin that you’ve obtained the Purple Lightning Seed.

Now it’s my turn to offer you something.” She didn’t wait for a response, simply turned and gestured for me to follow.

Her movements were deliberate, each step measured as though she held the weight of centuries of knowledge.

I trailed behind her as she led me toward the main building.

The doors opened into a grand living room, its walls lined with shelves filled with ancient tomes and scrolls.

A fireplace crackled gently in the corner, casting a warm glow over the room.

“Sit,” she commanded, and I obeyed, taking a seat in a chair.

My heart raced with anticipation.

What could she have in store for me?

Another rare treasure, perhaps?

My thoughts raced, but I kept my face neutral, waiting.

Elder Ann sat across from me, her eyes piercing as if she could see right through my thoughts.

“Elemental Seeds are rare, Zack,” she began, her voice calm but firm.

“Especially those related to healing.

I’ve only read about healing seeds in ancient texts, but I don’t possess one myself.” Her words hit me harder than I expected.

A wave of disappointment rolled through me, though I tried to mask it.

Of course, I couldn’t expect to be this lucky twice.

I already had the Purple Lightning Seed.

I should be grateful.

But still…

Elder Ann, ever perceptive, saw the flicker of disappointment in my eyes.

Her lips curved into a soft smile.

“Don’t fret,” she said, her voice soothing.

“I don’t have an elemental seed for you, but I’ve prepared something just as valuable.” With a graceful motion, she pulled out a stack of old, weathered parchments from a drawer nearby.

The scrolls looked ancient, their edges worn and cracked with age.

My breath caught as I realized what they were.

Healing techniques.

My heart skipped a beat as I stared at the parchments.

These weren’t just any techniques-they had to be ancient, powerful methods passed down through generations.

What kind of secrets were written in them?

I looked up at Elder Ann, my mind racing with curiosity and excitement.

“What kind of healing techniques are these?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Elder Ann looked at me with a thoughtful expression.

“I possess numerous healing techniques,” she said, her voice calm yet weighty.

“But not all of them are complete.

Some are fragments of greater techniques, lost to time.

However, I do have a few complete healing elemental methods in my collection.” She paused, letting the weight of her words sink in before continuing.

“These techniques come with strict requirements, though.

To practice them, a warrior must possess a pure healing element, nothing else.

Only then can the warrior fully unlock their potential.” Her gaze sharpened as she studied me.

“Similarly, other techniques come with similar restrictions.

Some are designed solely for cultivating healing essence, while others are tailored specifically for female warriors.” I furrowed my brow, digesting her words.

“And what about me?” Elder Ann leaned back slightly, crossing her arms.

“Your situation is unique, Zack.

You possess both the essence of lightning and a physique tied to the blood element.

The healing element within you is, at best, supplementary.

It isn’t your primary focus.

You likely use it only when you’ve suffered injuries-correct?” Her words hit me with a startling accuracy, and I felt my stomach twist.

She was right.

“Yes, Master,” I admitted, nodding slowly.

“I only use my healing element when I need to heal myself.

The Healing Hand technique I learned allows me to treat others as well, but…

that’s the extent of it.” Elder Ann nodded knowingly.

“You see?

The healing element in your body is underutilized.

You’re barely scratching the surface of its potential.” I frowned, feeling a pang of frustration.

“I never truly learned how to use it properly,” I confessed.

“Tell me,” she said, her voice soft but probing.

“How did you come by this technique?

What is its origin?” Taking a deep breath, I began recounting the story.

“I got the healing technique from an old man at the Saw Scale Viper Academy,” I explained.

“He taught me the Healing Hand method-how to cure myself and others.” For the next ten minutes, I shared the details of that encounter, describing the old man and his teachings.

Elder Ann listened intently, nodding occasionally as I spoke.

When I finished, she leaned forward, her expression serious.

“It’s a good technique, Zack,” she said, her tone gentle but firm.

“But compared to the methods practiced here, it’s quite basic.

Now that you’re in a Tier-4 region, that technique is at the bottom of the scale.” Her words stung, but I knew they were true.

I had suspected as much ever since I arrived here.

My Healing Hand technique felt…

rudimentary compared to the powers I had witnessed in this place.

“You should consider replacing it,” she continued.

“Otherwise, you’ll be wasting the healing element inside you.

It could be put to far better use.” I bit my lip, my mind racing.

Replacing the only healing technique I knew?

It was daunting.

But if it meant unlocking greater potential, then perhaps it was necessary.

“Master,” I asked cautiously, “what should I do?

How do I change my technique?” Elder Ann smiled slightly, a glimmer of warmth in her otherwise stoic demeanor.

“We’ll find something better suited for you, Zack.

But you must be prepared.

Healing techniques of higher caliber require greater understanding and control.

It won’t be easy.” Her words filled me with both excitement and apprehension.

Elder Ann leaned forward, her eyes gleaming with intensity as she spoke.

“Let me offer you some advice, Zack,” she said, her tone a mix of wisdom and caution.

“You possess lightning essence for cultivation, and your physique is tied to the blood element.

This dual cultivation makes you significantly stronger than most.

Each element complements the other, enhancing your overall strength and resilience.” I nodded, absorbing her words.

The combination of elements had always felt like an advantage, but hearing her confirm it brought new clarity.

She continued, her voice growing more thoughtful.

“You can use your healing element to enhance and protect your body in ways that others cannot.

Take, for instance, this ancient healing technique,” she said, reaching for a worn scroll from a nearby shelf.

She carefully unfurled it, revealing faded characters etched into the delicate parchment.

“It’s incomplete, a relic from my earlier years of exploration.

But even in its fragmented state, it holds immense potential.” I leaned in closer, my eyes scanning the mysterious script.

The words were unfamiliar, yet I could sense the power they held.

“This unknown technique is unlike any conventional healing method,” Elder Ann explained.

“It doesn’t just focus on treating external wounds.

According to what I could decipher, by practicing this technique, you can actually strengthen your veins, meridians, blood vessels, and all of your internal organs.

It transforms the very fabric of your body’s internal structure.” I felt my pulse quicken as she spoke.

“Strengthen my veins and meridians?” I repeated, my mind racing.

“But how?” Elder Ann’s gaze was sharp, her tone measured.

“Through consistent practice, this method could grant you the ability to fortify those parts of your body that are normally vulnerable.

The text hints at something remarkable-over time, it claims that your veins, meridians, and even blood vessels could develop special powers, becoming more resistant to damage, and potentially even gaining the ability to heal themselves.” Her words struck like lightning, and my heart pounded with excitement.

Self-healing organs?

It sounded impossible, like something out of a legend, but the way she spoke made it seem almost within reach.
