Chapter 998: White smog Chapter 998: White smog From MC’s Perspective: The Black Aircraft continues to fly across the sky.

It appears, though, as if something tears through the air, leaving the trails of white smoke.

A few minutes later, The Black Aircraft reaches the barren land, away from the town and nearest city.

No humans can be seen anywhere near the hundred miles.

The Aircraft then arrives at the designated location in the barren land.

Where a white smog can be seen covering the place.

If not for Dean Jerome, no one would have found this abnormality.

Because the white fog was formed by the appearance of the second land.

It was not natural.

The black aircraft slowly lands on the ground.

Creak!

Then the old man Clifford steps out of the cabin.

He asks others to exit one by one.

The Warriors begin to step out one by one from the aircraft.

When everyone exited the aircraft.

I was the last one to exit.

After touching the ground, I ignored everyone’s gazes and turned towards the smog.

The smog gives me an unusual feeling.

Usually, this type of feeling warns me of danger.

I hope everything goes well in this mission.

I looked around and found that the female warriors gathered together to form a small group.  Whereas the Black Flame Palace Warrior joined the Ice and Fire Palace Warriors.

Those three form a new group.

Which leaves Remi and Rayon of the Golden Lightning Palace.  I doubt they would invite me to the group.

So I’m all alone.

The next second, Remi and Rayon looked at me with a mischievous smile.  Like they were satisfied with the groupings.

I shook my head in response and turned towards the Faction Leader.

“What is he doing?” I muttered as I found that the Faction leader was contacting someone.

“You guys are all here!” All of a sudden a deep voice sounded.  Hearing that everyone turned towards the source.

Even the Faction Leader was alerted.

The person was none other than Dean Jerome.

Dean Jerome appeared in his real self.

He swept his gaze across everyone and said, “Well, everyone is here.” “I think we should start the mission.

What do you think, Elder Clifford?” Jerome asked.

“Dean, don’t need to ask.

We were always ready,” Clifford replied in a respectful tone.

“Dean?” Hearing that everyone was shocked.

My eyes flickered as well.

It should be me, but others are surprised as well.

Don’t tell me they are seeing the dean for the first time.  But their expressions were genuine.

So it should be true.

“Good, everyone forms a line quickly,” Jerome said.

Hearing that, the female warriors first stand in line.

Then the remaining male warriors started standing behind them.  I followed them to stand last in the line.  “You there, don’t follow us,” Remi said to me.

Hearing that my mouth twitches.

But I remained quiet.

On the other hand, Clifford watches everything.

So this didn’t go unnoticed in his eyes.

“Young people don’t know his identity.

If they know he is the 6th disciple of Austin.

Their attitude would be different,” Clifford thought.  Still, he decides to tell Elder Leola and Elder Cathy later.

If their palace members are acting arrogant.

This won’t help them or the Thunderflame Faction.

Dean Jerome saw everyone standing in line.

He said, “I’m going to give you the black token.

The black token will take you out after one day.

So don’t miss it.

It’s a life-saving item for you.” After saying that he passed the 10 black tokens to Aby.

Aby then passed the remaining token behind.

One by one everyone took their token and passed the remaining ones behind.

Finally, the token reached me.

I stored it inside the storage ring of mine.

Dean Jerome then turns around.

His gaze pierces into the white smog.

Then he raised both his hands.

A powerful mental power covers the white smog before he finds a huge metallic black door.   The metallic door was not in good shape.

It was damaged.

A little effort can be used to open the door.

By using his mental power, Jerome pushes the door open.

Boom!

A loud noise sounded.

Jerome then uses his one hand to cover the 10 warriors by using his mental power.

Then he pushes them inside the door.

When Zack Lockwood’s back was gone.

He stopped using his mental power.

The next second, the door shut automatically.

This all happened within seconds.

Dean Jerome didn’t look tired at all.

But old man Clifford was shocked.

He knows it’s not easy to open the ancient door just like that.  He has a feeling that the secret land is not as simple as it seems.  Dean Jerome saw his face.  He asked, “Clifford, what are you thinking?” “Dean, is there any chance that this secret land is not ordinary?”  Clifford asked.

Jerome smiled but he didn’t say anything.  Seeing that Clifford feels even more surprised.

He feels there is a reason why he wanted Thunderflame Faction Warriors to explore the secret land.

Meanwhile, Inside the secret land, everyone got separated.

They landed on various parts of the secret land.

“What’s this area?” I uttered while looking at the white smog all around me.  Now I understand where the outside white among comes from.

The secret land is leaking white smog.

Then I activated the perceptual ability.   My perception covers the area around me.

Seeing that perception was not hindered.

I sighed inwardly.

I took the black sword out and held it in my hand.

Then I carefully took steps forward to walk.

The ground beneath my feet is dark land.

There is no sign of vegetation so far.

Not even the weeds can be found.  As I continued to walk further, I spotted more and more black land without any vegetation.

My gut tells me that I have entered some danger zone inside the secret land.  On the other hand, the other warriors were facing their challenges.

They found themselves in a difficult spot as well.
