Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Scheme
Su Jiyai smiled,
“There is no such thing as free. If someone gives you a free thing, it means you are the product. ”
[Hosting after coming from the vampire world, you have become much more energetic.]
“You mean smart, right?” Su Jiyai chuckled.
[You can say that host.]
“System do you know the strangest part? Now that I recall all of my memories, I feel as if I was very…dumb.”
[Is that so?]
“Yes.” Su Jiyai smiled.
[Maybe it was because of the injuries.]
“I hope so. It’s better if that is the reason.” Su Jiyai didn’t continue to delve into the topic.
…….
The next morning.
At 10 am, Liu Feng and the other three soldiers reached the conference room.
“Good morning.” Su Jiyai greeted them.
Liu Feng and the other three soldiers greeted back.
Before starting the discussion, Su JIyai asked,
“How was your stay in the base?”
“Amazing.” Wang YI blurted out. Liu Feng and the other three soldiers glared at him before Liu Feng said with a stern expression on his face,
“Boss Su you should know how it was since you wanted to gain a favorable impression from us.”
Liu Feng was clever. Though he couldn’t understand her scheme at first, as time passed, it became clear to him; that Boss Su had a plan in her mind.
Su Jiyai wasn’t surprised. If even Liu Feng couldn’t identify that she had some other motives, she would doubt his capabilities.
“Since we plan to not hide anything from each other I will tell you the reason for inviting you to stay. You see, I don’t plan to go with the offer you proposed.” Su Jiyai expanded.
Buying land can solve her current predicament, but what about the future?
From the way her base was expanding even 80,000 square meters wouldn’t be enough. She would again have to buy more land.
Not every time she can pay 80 million points, right?
So Su Jiyai changed her plan completely.
Liu Feng had expected this outcome and couldn’t help but clench his hand. The other three soldiers fell silent.
The mere thought that the beautiful memories they had made yesterday night were someone’s scheme made their heart suspicious of everything around them.
“Boss Su I would have appreciated it if you didn’t play the facade of being the nice guy. Even if your opinions differed from us, I expected you would tell it right away instead of acting nice and calculating behind our backs.”

“I wasn’t acting nice Mr. Liu. I was laying off the base for what I was about to propose.” Su Jiyai corrected him.
Her words brought a frown on Liu Feng’s face,
“Can you tell your grand proposal now that you have ‘laid’ the foundation?”
Su Jiyai sighed. She had expected such a response from Liu Feng and didn’t take his sharp words to heart,
“I would like to work with the military. I want all of the land under the military and in return, I will give the military profits.
These profits can be converted into federal coins or food. The ratio would be 80-20.”
Liu Feng and the other three soldiers were instantly angry. They felt Su Jiyai’s deal was unfair to them.
“Are you serious?” Liu Feng asked, his voice laced with disbelief.
“Eighty percent of the land, and you’re offering only twenty percent in return? That’s not a partnership, that’s extortion.”
Su Jiyai, however, remained calm.
“Hear me out. Though it may seem disadvantageous, at first, however, under my jurisdiction, humans can have a chance to survive.
I have access to technology. Did you see the base? The peace? Once you grant me the land, I can transform infertile and dangerous land into better use.
Other bases can never protect that land, even if they buy it. I, on the other hand, have the means to transform the land into a safe place.
The more protected shelter humans have, the more humans can be saved and the fight against the zombie could be won by us.”
Su Jiyai figured out many things in the past 2 days.
While buying land was indeed better, if she wanted to make humanity self-sustaining as quickly as possible, she needed a lot of land.
By not asking for the ownership of the lands Su Jiyai was in a great disadvantageous position.
Who would decorate and renovate their rented house?
What Su Jiyai meant was, that even if she built a lot of towers, buildings, and other facilities, they still couldn’t be called hers, since the land would belong to the military.
This was the reason why she was giving only 20% of her income.
Of course, she had her own selfish motives too, with 80% income she would amass her own assets.
The system may seem as if it is on her side and always thinks about her. In reality, though, it cares more about humanity and survival of the humanity.
It wouldn’t care what will happen to her once it leaves her. She will have to fend for herself. So the assets built using the system couldn’t be called her own.
Maybe once the system disappears, the assets made by it will disappear…then what? Will she not become a fool with nothing?
“System what will happen if you disappear? Will the assets disappear?” Su Jiyai asked lightly.
[Host, the existence that should be forgotten, will be forgotten once I disappear. This includes the constructions that might trigger the memory.]
“What about the land that I will own?”
[That will stay with you, host.]
Su Jiyai smiled,
“Okay.”
Though empty the land bought now can be sold later. However, there was again a problem. The inflated price now.
Su Jiyai suspected that the price of the land would go down once the apocalypse was dealt with. She didn’t know why she had this premonition.
But if it became true then…there was a high chance she wouldn’t be able to enjoy any luxuries in the post-apocalypse.
[Host, don’t worry, your contribution will be taken into consideration if you can help humanity overcome the apocalypse.]
