Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Price Negotiation
However, so her heart calmed down.
“System are you saying so because you haven’t come across such a case?”
[Yes host.]
Su Jiyai heaved a sigh of relief.
Just because the system hasn’t come across such a case doesn’t mean it can never happen, right?
She almost doubted Qin Feng because of a piece of silly information.
Qin Feng couldn’t see Su Jiyai’s expression, however he felt the fluctuation in Su Jiyai’s aura.
Yet he didn’t pay much attention to her and stored all the sun-proof cloaks in his storage ring with satisfaction.
“Boss Su, it’s late now. You should leave, otherwise you will encounter zombies on the way.”
Meaning: Get lost.
Qin Feng’s words instantly grabbed Su Jiyai’s attention.
Hm…
To know what all things are needed in the current situation it would be better to conduct a field visit, right?
Su Jiyai blinked.
“System can I buy storage rings from the shop?”
[No host.]
As expected.
Su Jiayi sighed.
It wasn’t like she never asked the system whether there was a way to have an item through which more things could be stored.
But the system always denied the existence of any such thing.
“Can you sell this type of storage ring to me?” Su Jiyai asked softly.
Qin Feng shook his head,
“It’s not like I don’t want to sell, it is just…it requires a lot of energy and work. If you want I can give you that ring for free.”
Su Jiyai rolled the ring in her hand and proposed,
“See, this type of storage ring is valuable to me and humanity. I can pay you handsomely for your efforts,” Su Jiyai said, her voice smooth yet serious.
Qin Feng paused for a moment, watching her closely.
“Okay, give me time. How much do you want?”
“At least 50.” Su Jiyai answered.
If she wants to transport medical equipment, weapons, cars, and other machines, she needs at least 50 storage rings and yet it would be not enough.

Qin Feng frowned,
“You will need to wait for 10 years then.”
“How about 20?” Su Jiyai negotiated.
“4 years.” Qin Feng stated.
4 years? That is too long!
“10.”
“2 years.” Qin Feng calmly said.
“Alright then give me 5 for this year and the next 5 by the next year.” Su Jiyai sighed. “As for the price….”
Qin Feng raised an eyebrow,
“I will not be polite since you are a generous person. The price of one ring is 20 million federal coins.”
Su Jiyai’s eyes widened slightly under her veil as she heard the price.
“20 million federal coins each?!” She almost choked on her own words but quickly composed herself.
Qin Feng nodded seriously, completely unfazed.
“Yes. And that’s just for the basic model,” he said in a tone so casual it sounded like he was discussing the weather.
Su Jiyai forced a smile, her eye twitching under her veil.
“Basic model? You’re saying there’s an upgraded version?”
Qin Feng chuckled, leaning back in his chair.
“Of course. The upgraded version has more space and some… extra features,” he said with a mysterious glint in his eyes.
“What kind of features?” Su Jiyai asked cautiously, suddenly wondering if the “extra features” included things like self-destruct mechanisms or random teleportation to alternate dimensions.
Qin Feng’s eyes gleamed.
“It can make your tea for you, tell you a joke, and even hum a lullaby when you’re having a tough day.”
Su Jiyai stared at him, her expression blank for a moment before she burst into a rare fit of laughter, the sound muffled behind her veil.
“You’re joking,” she managed between chuckles.
“Am I?” Qin Feng replied with a straight face.
Su Jiyai blinked, her laughter fading.
Was he actually serious? She glanced at the storage ring in her hand, half-expecting it to start singing or brewing her a cup of tea.
[Host, he is lying.]
Su Jiyai: “…”
She cleared her throat, waving her hand dismissively.
“Fine, let’s stick to the basic model. I don’t need a ring that hums lullabies.”
“Suit yourself,” Qin Feng said with a shrug.
“The deluxe version does have a soothing melody, though. Perfect for stressful nights.”
Su Jiyai sighed dramatically.
“You’re impossible, Mister Qin. But alright, 5 this year and 5 next year. That works for me. As for the 20 million per ring…” She paused, trying to keep a straight face.
Qin Feng raised an eyebrow as if daring her to negotiate the price.
“How about we round it down to, say, 10 million?” Su Jiyai suggested with a sweet, innocent smile.
Qin Feng didn’t flinch. “20 million.”
“15?”
“20.”
Su Jiyai crossed her arms, her gaze narrowing slightly. “17 million and I’ll throw in a few extra sun-proof cloaks.”
Qin Feng stared at her for a moment, then let out a small sigh of defeat.
“Fine. 17 million. But don’t try to get cute with me again, Boss Su. It’s…disgusting.”
Su Jiyai: “…” How uncute…
As they finalized the agreement, Su Jiyai couldn’t help but smirk. She had managed to shave off a few million, and that was a win in her book.
Su Jiyai transferred 34 million federal coins in terms of crystals to Qin Feng.
Looking at the three storage rings, a smile appeared on Su Jiyai’s face.
“Boss Su, I won’t entertain you further.” Qin Feng continued with a polite smile after receiving the crystals.
Su Jiyai felt amused and frustrated and turned to leave.
Before leaving she paused for a few seconds and said,
“Oh right, I love you.”
Qin Feng’s aura turned chilly and lifted his hand as if he was going to attack Su Jiyai.
“That was what the cat said.” Su Jiyai hurriedly added.
In an instant, the cold aura around Qin Feng dissipated and a soft look appeared on his face.
“Say to her…I love her too…I miss her.”
A hint of longing passed in his eyes. Su Jiyai’s heart ached and she bit her lips to prevent herself from crying.
“Okay.”
