Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Pop-Up Booth
By the time Su Jiyai returned to her base, it was already 2 pm.
“Let’s start the work.” She muttered.
She planned to build a small shop for the sun-proof cloak since it can’t be sold in supermarkets or weapon shops.
However, due to area limitations, no shop could be opened.
Su Jiyai scrolled through the shop section of the system for a long time. There were many things in the shop section, however, due to too many items, Su Jiyai couldn’t find what she was looking for.
“System, is there any alternative for shops? Um…a shop-like thing through which sun proof cloak can be sold but it doesn’t need too much space?”
The system responded quickly to Su Jiyai’s query.
[Host, there is an alternative. You can set up a ‘pop-up booth’ that can be activated from a small space and disappear when not in use. It requires minimal energy and can fit in any area.]
Su Jiyai’s eyes brightened. “A pop-up booth?”
[Yes, host. It’s a temporary structure you can summon anywhere, and it functions like a fully equipped shop. Customers won’t even know it’s temporary.]
Su Jiyai smirked. “That sounds perfect. How much does it cost?”
[The price is 500,000 federal coins per booth.]
Her face twitched. “System, can I get a discount?”
[Unfortunately, no, host. This is a rare item, and it’s already priced at a bargain compared to the usual rates.]
Su Jiyai sighed. It seemed that no one was willing to give her a break today. Still, she knew the importance of setting up an accessible shop quickly, so she decided to purchase one.
“Alright, let’s get it.” She confirmed the purchase, and a small, sleek cube appeared in her hand, glowing faintly.
[Pop-up booth successfully purchased.]
Su Jiyai examined the cube, impressed by its portability. “How do I use it?”
[Simply place the cube in any location you want the shop to appear. It will automatically expand into the booth.]
Excited, Su Jiyai immediately went outside and found a small, unused space near the base’s entrance.
She set the cube down, and with a soft hum, the cube expanded and unfolded into a sleek, modern-looking booth.
The design was simple but eye-catching, with a holographic sign floating above that read “Sun-Proof Cloaks for Sale!”.
Su Jiyai marveled at the transformation.
“Not bad at all,” she muttered, running her fingers over the booth’s surface.
She entered the booth and found it already stocked with shelves and display areas, all customizable.
[Host, you can also link the booth to the system, allowing for inventory management and automated sales, just like the supermarket. Customers can purchase directly from the booth even when you’re not present.]
Her eyes sparkled. “That’s even better!”
Once her work was finished, Su Jiyai posted info about the Sun-proof cloak on the announcement board and returned to her underground area.
“System, why can’t I buy the storage rings?” Su Jiyai asked.

The system knew about the existence of the storage ring. It means, it has access to such things or might have come across such things.
So why can’t it buy a storage ring?
As far as she knows, the system could buy things like illusion talismans, or healing pills so why not a storage ring?
[Host, storage rings are special-grade items that require a high level of energy to create. The system shop does not have access to such high-grade items due to the restrictions of this dimension.]
Su Jiyai frowned slightly, her fingers tapping thoughtfully on the edge of her desk.
“So, you’re saying it’s a limitation of this dimension?” she asked, narrowing her eyes.
[Correct, host. The energy available in this dimension isn’t sufficient to support the creation or purchase of storage rings through the system. That is why we cannot provide them.]
Su Jiyai sat back in her chair, deep in thought.
“So how can Feng’er make it?”
It was a mystery to her.
[Host, maybe it is related to his ability. I don’t know how he was able to surpass the limitation, but if he can, then he is one of the rare talented people and I advise the host to bring him over to your side.]
“Haha.” Su Jiyai laughed. “How I wish I had recorded your words and had played it now. You can my Feng’er useless and now you are slapped in the face, do you feel ashamed?”
The system remained silent.
Su Jiyai mocked the system for few more times, before asking,
“What about the mission that you suddenly assigned to me? The one where you asked me to keep quiet? Why?”
Qin Feng had mistakenly picked someone else’s body thinking it was her and god knows what he was thinking to do with it but why did even the system get involved and ask her to keep quiet?
[Host you will know later.]
Su Jiyai didn’t continue to ask. Instead, she said in a half-joking tone,
“System, it is very strange. I sometimes feel as if Qin Feng is related to you.”
[Why do you think so host?]
“Hm…you seem to have too many opinions on him and he can do something even you can’t do…”
[Host, I am just worried about you and this doesn’t show any link between us.]
“Indeed. But do you remember the activation gem? You asked me to put the activation gem when I first met you.
Without activation gem, you wouldn’t have let me in, right?”
The system remained silent.
“Surprisingly that activation gem was given to me by Qin Feng. In a way, he was my savior, even when he didn’t know I was in danger, and helped me reach where I am today.” Su Jiyai sighed.
The system still didn’t answer.
Su Jiyai wasn’t expecting any response from the system anyway.
The system has a borderline. A borderline, which if Su Jiyai crossed, the system would start to play dumb or dead.
How funny.
Sometimes the system acts too human-like. It was as if…it wasn’t a system at all.
