Chapter 150: Chapter 150: Luck Stats 39
“I… I can’t believe it,” Rui Wang whispered, her voice trembling. “The pain… it’s gone.”
Fu Lin’s eyes filled with hope as he reached for her hand. “Are you sure?”
Rui Wang nodded, tears filling her eyes as she placed a hand on her stomach. “Yes… It doesn’t hurt anymore.”
Su Jiyai, listening in, allowed herself a small smile.
The Steel Wasp’s Honey had done its job. At least for now, Rui Wang could find some relief from the agony she’d been enduring.
“Thank you…” Rui Wang whispered, her voice barely audible through the speaker.
Su Jiyai smiled,
“Rest for now. We’ll talk later.”
Rui Wang and Fu Lin nodded. Once the speaker was turned off, both of them had a complex expression on their face.
Fu Lin sat beside Rui Wang and muttered in a low voice,
“Even if we tell her, it doesn’t mean she would know about the internal information. Hell, even if she knew about the internal information, I doubt she would blame us. No reasonable person would blame us.”
Rui Wang anxiously caressed her pregnant belly and muttered,
“I know…I know everything…and I know, she is reasonable too but…what if…what if…she feels disgusted or thinks that we are involved in those things too?”
Fu Lin’s brows furrowed.
“I am grateful for Boss Su’s help till now. I don’t want to risk our future by telling her the truth.” Rui Wang’s sounded choked towards the end.
Fu Lin fell silent.
………………….
Su Jiyai leaned on the chair and closed her eyes.
[Ding! Host your luck has permanently risen by 10. You have gained 100 points.]
[Ding! Host your luck has temporarily risen by 50. You have gained 100 points.]
Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow,
“Has it reached 100?”
[No host. Your original luck stats was 29, just now you gained an additional 10, which made the score go up to 39. With the addition of 50 more temporary points you have reached 89.]
“Is this enough to open up a pre-apocalypse dimension?”
[Yes host.]
[Ding! Host the portal is about to open in 30 minutes, please prepare yourself.]
Su Jiyai picked up her packed bag, asked the system to empty the space in which steel wasps were stored, collected the gold, and asked the system to teleport her to some isolated place.
At the same time she asked the system to buy a RV for her.
Once outside, Su Jiyai’s skin burned due to heat.

Su Jiyai winced as the scorching sun blazed down on her skin.
She quickly pulled out a sunproof cloak from her bag, covering herself head to toe before the burning sensation could grow unbearable.
She even started to wonder, as to how other bases and ordinary citizens were surviving.
As the portal shimmered before her, Su Jiyai took a deep breath.
The sensation of being pulled through space and time was disorienting, and for a brief moment, everything around her swirled in a blur of colors—deep purples, shimmering blues, and glimmers of starlight.
Then, just as quickly as it had begun, the swirling stopped.
When Su Jiyai opened her eyes, the world around her had completely changed.
She found herself standing in the midst of a bustling city.
Tall buildings towered above her, and the sound of cars and people filled the air.
The streets were busy with life—something Su Jiyai hadn’t seen in a long time.
People moved about, carrying bags of groceries, talking on phones, and living their ordinary, pre-apocalyptic lives.
The world looked pristine and unspoiled by the chaos, unlike her world…
Su Jiyai blinked, adjusting to the new atmosphere. The air here was cooler, and the sun was not nearly as harsh.
The first task was selling the gold she had brought with her.
However, before that, she wanted to confirm certain things and asked system,
“System, how long could I stay here? What about the time…how slow does this dimension’s time as compared to mine?”
Last time she didn’t think properly, didn’t leave at the correct time and a huge issue occurred.
Having learned her lesson from the previous time, Su Jiyai decided to nip all the misunderstandings in the bud by confirming all the details beforehand.
[Host, you can stay in this pre-apocalypse dimension for 72 hours. The time in your original dimension will pass much faster – approximately 1 hour in this world for every 24 hours in your world.]
Su Jiyai was stunned,
“Such a high difference? Why?”
[No answer host.]
After confirming the details, Su Jiyai decided to proceed with selling the gold.
Given the suspicious nature of her goods—gold without any receipts—she needed to avoid legal complications.
Instead of heading straight to another pawnshop, she decided to take a different approach.
“System, can you scan for any underground markets or areas where I can make transactions without raising red flags?” Su Jiyai asked in a low voice as she walked down the street.
[Scanning… located. There is an underground market 2 kilometers from your current position. It deals with valuable goods off the record.]
Perfect. Su Jiyai’s lips curled into a satisfied smile.
She found an isolated corner and took out the RV. If she has to walk up everywhere, it would be equivalent to wasting time.
At the same time she wore her veil and changed into a middle-aged man with averga looks.
Su Jiyai started the RV and followed the system’s instructions.
The area grew darker and more isolated as she neared her destination.
The tall, pristine buildings were replaced by narrow alleyways and dimly lit streets. Fewer people roamed here, and those who did keep their heads down, clearly not wanting to draw attention.
Eventually, Su Jiyai found the entrance to the underground market—a discreet metal door hidden on the side of an old, abandoned building.
Two guards stood watch, their eyes cold and calculating as they scanned everyone entering.
“State your business,” one of the guards said as she approached.
“I’m here to sell some items. Nothing more,” Su Jiyai rolled the window and replied calmly.
The guards checked the RV as well as Su Jiyai to ensure she wasn’t carrying any dangerous items.
