Chapter 162: Chapter 162: Casino
“This letter isn’t for the sister you grew up with.”
Hua looked at her, confused. “It’s not?”
Su Jiyai shook her head.
“No, it’s for your real sister. The one who just returned.”
Hua blinked in surprise.
“Wait, how do you know about her?”
Su Jiyai didn’t answer directly. Instead, she gave him a knowing smile.
“Let’s just say I have my ways. Your biological sister is very important, Hua. She’s… special, and I need to make sure she gets this letter.”
“I don’t understand,” Hua said slowly.
“Why is my sister special? What’s going on?”
Su Jiyai glanced at the letter in her hand before meeting Hua’s gaze.
“That’s something you’ll understand in time. But for now, trust me. Deliver this letter to your real sister. It’s important.”
Hua hesitated for a moment, still unsure of what to believe. Looking at the thin paper, he thought,
‘It can’t contain any poison or bomb-like thing. It won’t harm my real biological sister anyway. If I deliver the letter I will repay whatever favor I am owing, right?’
“Alright,” he said finally, taking a deep breath. “I’ll give her the letter.”
Su Jiyai nodded, satisfied with his response.
“Good. Now, go to your family. Reconnect with your sister.”
With that, Hua pocketed the letter.
Once he started to leave, Su Jiyai waited for the system to tell that the mission had been completed but the system remained silent.
“Hey! System! Is the mission over or not-”
Before Su Jiyai could complete her sentence, the system prompted,
[Ding! A new mission has been triggered. Pay off Hua’s debt and give the chosen one a startup capital of 1 billion.
Time limit: 3 hours
Penalty: Death. Can’t leave this dimension.]
“What? System! You are being unreasonable now! How can I earn 1 billion in 3 hours? Heck! There is no reward too! Are you out of your mind?”
The system remained calm, as usual.
[Host, this is an essential part of the chosen one’s path. Failure to meet the requirements will result in a penalty.]
Su Jiyai: “…” Yeah. Keep on threatening and I can only continue to do tasks!
There must be some hidden catch, right?
“Calm down,” she muttered to herself.

She had encountered impossible situations before, and she always found a way out. This time wouldn’t be any different.
“Alright, think,” she whispered, pacing back and forth.
“I need to pay off Hua’s debt and give his sister the capital, but how on earth am I going to raise that kind of money?”
An idea appeared in Su Jiyai’s mind and she asked the system,
“System, where’s the nearest casino?”
[The nearest high-stakes casino is 15 kilometers from your current location, on the outskirts of Rivercliff. It is known for its underground gambling operations and is frequented by wealthy individuals.]
“Tell me the total amount of money they have currently. Including the money people in the casino carry.”
[Calculating…Total money exceeds 30 billion.]
“Perfect,” Su Jiyai muttered. She had no time to waste.
She jumped into her RV, speeding toward the location while planning her next move.
“I can’t just walk in as myself,” she thought aloud.
“If things go south, I need to make sure I can disappear without a trace.”
The veil she carried was perfect for situations like this. Su Jiyai transformed into a young man, her clothing changed too. She was now dressed in a business suit and emitted a powerful aura.
As her RV approached the casino, Su Jiyai parked a few blocks away, just to be cautious.
She checked her reflection in the rearview mirror, making sure the disguise held up, then stepped out, locking the RV behind her.
For Su Jiyai the casino was very luxurious looking. The bright yellow lights, with a grand reception facing the entrance, a sign board with the name of the casino emitting a neon light was hung at the upperside of the entrance.
With a steady breath, she walked in, projecting the air of someone with money to burn and absolutely no fear of risk.
Inside, the atmosphere was thick with cigar smoke and the quiet murmurs of gamblers, dealers, and patrons observing the action.
Su Jiyai made her way to the cashier’s window and casually exchanged a sizable portion of her funds for chips.
The attendant didn’t blink at the large transaction—this was clearly the norm for this place.
What a joke, 2 million was nothing to the attendant. If she wasn’t wrong, Su Jiyai even felt that she had seen a hint of disdain in the attendant’s eyes.
“System,” she whispered under her breath, “what’s the best game here for quick wins?”
[The dice-in-a-cup game is known for high payouts, especially in this casino. The rules are simple, and with my assistance, you can win consistently.]
Su Jiyai smirked. “Lead the way.”
She was expecting that answer.
She walked through the casino floor until she found the game in question.
The table was filled with serious players, and a host stood behind it, shaking a cup filled with dice and throwing it onto the table with a flourish.
She approached confidently, catching the eye of the host, who raised an eyebrow at her appearance but said nothing.
“I’d like to join,” Su Jiyai said, her voice carrying the low, commanding tone of her male disguise.
Even the system couldn’t help but comment,
[Host you are looking handsome. Being a male suits you more.]
Su Jiyai rolled her eyes.
“Welcome,” the host said with a grin. “Buy-in’s a million yuan.”
Su Jiyai placed her chips down without hesitation.
The host’s grin widened, and he began shaking the cup.
The sound of the dice rattling inside echoed in the room as the players placed their bets on the table, guessing whether the total would be high, low, or a specific number.
Su Jiyai, of course, didn’t need to guess.
[The dice will total 14. Place your bet on the number 14.]
She followed the system’s instructions, placing her chips on the exact number.
