Chapter 163: Chapter 163: Dice In A Cup
“Hey little young man, listen to me, you will lose everything if you place all of your bet on a single number.” A middle-aged man with a pot belly and two hot chicks on his side advised.
Su Jiyai smiled,
“Someone said I have awesome luck today. I want to see how lucky I can be.”
The middle-aged man chuckled, but his heart was filled with disdain.
The host smirked, likely thinking it was a beginner’s luck move. He slammed the cup onto the table and slowly lifted it to reveal the dice.
“Fourteen!” the dealer announced with a hint of surprise, as the table buzzed with murmurs.
Su Jiyai kept her expression calm, though internally, she smirked at how easy it had been.
As the game reset for the next roll, a middle-aged man seated across from her scowled.
“Beginner’s luck, huh?” he muttered loud enough for her to hear
The odds for a single number bet were 1:10. Within just 1 round Su Jiyai earned 10 million yuans.
It was inevitable to cause some envy.
“You better not get too comfortable. Luck runs out fast in places like this.” The middle-aged man mocked.
Su Jiyai glanced at him briefly, noting his fancy suit and the pile of chips he had lost in front of him.
He was one of those rich types who couldn’t handle losing with grace. She didn’t mind though.
With a casual smile, she replied,
“Oh, don’t worry. Luck and I go way back.”
The man’s face darkened, clearly not amused.
“Cocky little brat,” he muttered under his breath. “Let’s see how far your luck takes you.”
As the dice cup rattled again in the dealer’s hands, Su Jiyai heard the system in her mind.
[The next total will be 17. Place your bet accordingly.]
She smoothly placed all of her chips on 17 without hesitation, ignoring the man’s snide remarks. The dice rolled, and, as predicted, the total came to 17.
The dealer announced the result, and Su Jiyai’s chip pile grew even larger.
She had placed 10 million on 17 and after the result came out, her money turned into a whopping 100 million.
The middle-aged man’s eyes widened in disbelief, his face flushed with irritation.
“You’ve got to be cheating!” he spat, his voice raised enough to draw attention from the others at the table.
“Cheating?” Su Jiyai repeated, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“I’m sorry, is it my fault you don’t know how to play?”
The table erupted in soft laughter at her remark, and the man’s face flushed even redder.
His hand clenched into a fist, but before he could retaliate, the dealer spoke up.
“Sir, accusations of cheating are taken very seriously here. If you have no proof, I suggest you calm down.”

The man grumbled something under his breath but said no more, too embarrassed to continue.
Su Jiyai’s lips twitched into a smirk, enjoying the satisfaction of shutting him down.
She returned her focus to the game, placing her bets as instructed by the system in each round.
However, the dealer suddenly announced,
“The odds of total is decreased to 1:2.”
Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow. She felt the dealer was deliberately making things difficult for her, but she smiled.
Anyway, she wasn’t the one who was going to lose money in the end.
Round after round, the dice fell exactly as predicted.
Even when the dealer tried to mix things up with subtle tricks—shaking the cup longer, rolling with different pressure, or stalling for time—the system easily saw through it all.
The predictions were always precise, and Su Jiyai won every round.
After twenty consecutive wins, the pile of chips in front of her had become a small mountain. In less than an hour, she had amassed a staggering 1.4 billion yuan.
The reason why it took her 1 hour was because the odds were reduced time and time again.
Satisfied with her haul, Su Jiyai stood up, collecting her chips. She gave the dealer a casual nod and began making her way toward the cashier to exchange her winnings.
The attendant was surprised by the huge amount, with a gulp started to put money in a black bag.
Su Jiyai took the black bag and turned to leave.
But before she could take more than a few steps, two large, imposing bodyguards stepped in front of her, blocking her path.
“Excuse me,” one of them said in a low, gruff voice. “Our boss would like to have a word with you.”
Su Jiyai’s heart skipped a beat, but she didn’t let it show on her face.
She maintained her composed, confident expression, fully aware of the dangers in this kind of establishment.
“Your boss, huh? Well, I’d love to chat, but I really need to use the restroom first. You don’t mind, do you?”
The bodyguards exchanged a glance. One of them nodded.
“Fine, but we’ll be waiting right outside the door.”
“Fair enough,” Su Jiyai replied.
They escorted her to the luxurious restroom, a dimly lit space with marble sinks and gold accents.
Su Jiyai entered one of the cubicles, locking the door behind her.
She could hear the heavy footsteps of the bodyguards positioning themselves just outside.
Once inside the cubicle, she let out a quiet breath. Now was her chance.
“System,” she whispered urgently. “Teleport me to the RV. I need to get out of here, now.”
[Teleportation cost 1 million points, do you agree?]
Su Jiyai gritted her teeth. This was the new rule created by the system and the reason why she refrained from using teleportation in other universe.
“Yes, proceed,” she confirmed.
The familiar tingling sensation coursed through her body as the teleportation took effect.
In the blink of an eye, the marble walls of the restroom vanished, replaced by the interior of her RV.
She landed gracefully in the driver’s seat, her appearance already shifting back to her original form as the veil deactivated.
“Thank goodness,” she muttered under her breath, feeling the tension finally release from her shoulders.
