Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Help
Immediately, the men began to spin in place, their bodies whirling around uncontrollably.
Their cries of confusion turned into panicked yells as they twirled faster and faster, their limbs flailing helplessly.
“Stop! Stop it!” Fang Qian screamed, his psychic powers useless against the relentless spinning.
“I’m going to be sick!”
Hao Chen’s face was turning green, his body rocking violently as he spun.
“I didn’t sign up for this!” he shouted, his voice cracking.
Su Jiyai remained motionless on the sofa, watching them with detached amusement.
The once arrogant bullies were now reduced to a pitiful state, and it was oddly satisfying.
She let them spin for a few more moments before giving the next command.
“System, pluck out their hair.”
As soon as the order was given, the system obeyed.
The men’s screams escalated as strands of hair were pulled from their scalps, one by one.
It wasn’t enough to cause permanent damage, but it was enough to make them feel the sting.
“Ow! Stop it!” Xie Liang howled, thrashing his head as if that would make the pain go away.
His hair, which had once been slick and carefully groomed, was now falling in messy clumps onto the floor.
Fang Qian let out a pained yelp, clutching at his head in vain.
“Why are you doing this to us?” he whimpered, his psychic powers once again proving useless in the face of the relentless torment.
Hao Chen, on the other hand, tried to keep his composure, gritting his teeth through the pain.
But it was clear from the tears brimming in his eyes that even he wasn’t immune to the torture.
When the cries of pain finally died down, and the three men were reduced to pathetic, quivering heaps, Su Jiyai tilted her head slightly, chuckling softly.
“Pathetic,” she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper but loud enough for them to hear.
The three men, now drenched in water, spinning-induced nausea, and missing clumps of hair, looked up at her with wide eyes.
They couldn’t see her face behind the veil, but something about her presence made them feel small, insignificant.
Xie Liang, the one with invisibility powers, was the first to speak.
“L-Lady Boss,” he stammered, his voice shaky.
“W-We’re so sorry for whatever we did. Please, spare us! We didn’t mean to cause any trouble.”
Hao Chen, always the smooth-talker, tried to chime in, his voice dripping with flattery.
“Y-Yes, Boss. We didn’t know you were the one in charge here. If we had known, we would never have—”
“Shut up,” Su Jiyai said, her tone flat and devoid of emotion.

“You’re all pathetic. Do you even know why you’re tied up here?”
The three men glanced at each other, their faces flushed with embarrassment and fear.
“W-We don’t know!” Fang Qian blurted out. “It’s all a misunderstanding!”
Su Jiyai laughed a cold and bitter sound.
“A misunderstanding?” she echoed, her eyes narrowing.
“You were lurking outside my base despite the fact that I told everyone to leave. And now, you’re here begging for mercy like cowards.”
“It wasn’t like that!” Hao Chen pleaded, his voice rising in desperation. “We didn’t mean to cause any trouble, I swear! We just thought—”
“System,” Su Jiyai interrupted, her voice sharp.
……….
Hao Chen, Xie Liang, and Fang Qian staggered across the barren wasteland, their bodies bruised and aching from the torture they had endured at Su Jiyai’s hands.
The scorching sun beat down on them relentlessly, and their throats were parched from thirst.
Due to the extreme heat, their skin was slowly getting burned.
Just when they thought their legs couldn’t carry them any further, they spotted a group of military soldiers in the distance.
The soldiers were patrolling the area, their uniforms crisp and their weapons at the ready.
“There!” Hao Chen exclaimed, his voice hoarse from exhaustion.
The three men picked up their pace, stumbling toward the soldiers, desperation in their eyes.
When they were close enough, Hao Chen waved his arms wildly to get their attention.
“Hey! Over here! We need help!”
The soldiers turned to look at them, their expressions hard and unreadable.
They didn’t move, merely watching as the trio approached, panting and covered in dirt.
One of the soldiers, a tall man with a stern face and a scar running down his cheek, stepped forward.
“What do you want?”
“We… we’ve been through hell,” Hao Chen wheezed, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.
“You have to help us!”
The soldier raised an eyebrow, unimpressed.
“Why should we help you?”
“We—we have important information!” Xie Liang blurted out, desperation lacing his voice. “About Boss Su!”
The mention of Boss Su seemed to pique the soldiers’ interest.
They exchanged quick glances, but their expressions remained guarded.
The scarred soldier crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes at the trio.
“And why should we care?” he asked, his voice dripping with skepticism.
“What makes you think we’re interested in whatever you have to say about Boss Su?”
Hao Chen straightened up, his mind racing. They needed to make the soldiers see their value, or they were doomed.
“Because… because we know her secrets,” he said carefully, lowering his voice as if revealing something dangerous.
“We were captured by her. She tortured us. But we got away. And if you help us, we’ll tell you everything.”
The soldiers remained silent for a moment, clearly skeptical of the trio’s claims. Fang Qian, sensing their hesitation, jumped in.
“We’re not just any random people!” he insisted, his voice rising.
“We have superpowers—useful ones! If you save us, we’ll dedicate ourselves to whoever helps us. You’ll have loyal men with abilities at your disposal.”
The soldiers seemed to consider this. The scarred man glanced at his comrades, and they exchanged uncertain looks.
One of the soldiers, a younger man with a serious expression, stepped forward.
“And what exactly are these superpowers of yours?”
Xie Liang, eager to prove himself, immediately spoke up.
“I can turn invisible! Think about how useful that would be for surveillance or sneaking behind enemy lines!”
