She struggled fiercely in his grasp, wriggling and hissing, but Lin Hao held on easily, his grip gentle yet inescapable.

He lifted her effortlessly and cradled her against his chest as if she were no more than a fussy kitten.

“Do you want to take a bath on your own?”

Su Jiyai watched him, her little cat body still trembling slightly from the stress, but she could see that he finally understood.

“Meow three times once you are done. Make sure to bathe!”

Su Jiyai took a shower for the second time and felt a bit comprehensive. The changes in Lin Hao’s behavior were too…weird.

Once her furs were completely cleansed, Su Jiyai jumped out of the bathtub. Water dripped down her shiny blue furs as she made a beeline to the door.

Lifting her paws she tapped on the door twice and the door was opened instantly.

Lin Hao heaved a sigh of relief when he saw the uninjured blue cat and lifted her in his arms without caring about getting his shirt wet.
