Wang Qingshan waved at them as if signaling them to leave.

Once outside the office, Liu Feng gave a dark look to Dong Shin and muttered,

“I know you are smart and greedy, but let me warn you, Boss Su is not someone you should mess with. If you scheme against her, you will end with nothing.”

Dong Shin sneered,

“She is just a woman. What can she do? Do you think she is invincible? Heh! Let me tell you, when Chen Mu attacked the people of her base she remained silent.

Xi Ping’s heart sank, but she immediately forced herself to keep a calm facade. “More work?” she echoed, her voice sharp now.

The man didn’t even flinch at her tone.

He rolled his eyes, obviously bored by her response.

But then, as if something occurred to him, he gave her a suggestive look, his lips curling into a grin that was both mocking and lecherous.

“You know,” he started, leaning slightly closer to the counter, “if you’re really tired of all this, maybe you can… accompany me tonight. In return, I’ll make sure your daily fees are reduced. Compared to the other bases, Crystal Cove is a bit more lenient with… special arrangements.”

Xi Ping recoiled in disgust.
