Chapter 297: Chapter 297: Portal
Since her luck was so good, Su Jiyai decided to use it and asked Yuan Xin to call Xi Ping and Jake.
She explained to both of them,
“We are going on a trip, get ready. Oh, these are for you both.”
With that, she teleported 2 A-Rank Colander, 2 A- Rank battle axes, and an A-Rank chocolate energy bar to the table in the conference room.
Xi Ping didn’t hesitate to hold the colander, axes, and chocolate bar and raced toward her room.
Jake stared at the items on the table with a dumbfounded expression and smirked,
“No way…I am not wearing that…”
“You will.” Su Jiyai said firmly.
Jake shook his head, “This thing is hideous…I…”
“We may encounter a beast 5 times bigger than a normal zombie.”
Jake gritted his teeth and decided to wear it.
Soon Xi Ping returned with her bag. Su Jiyai asked if Jake needed anything from his room and after thinking for a while, Jake left.
Meanwhile, Su Jiyai took out another piece of red crystal and started to absorb it.
According to the system, only 3 weeks had passed, but with the help of the fire-resistant zombie’s crystal, she could digest the energy from red crystals.
Now it won’t be any problem for her to absorb the 4th piece of red crystal.
As expected, she became a blue wolf cub, the only difference was…she was much bigger than before.
Without hesitation, she ordered the system,
“I want to use the golden ticket.”
[Host…you are using your luck stats very efficiently.]
Su Jiyai ignored the system’s taunts and wished,
“I want an SSS-Rank car!”
System: “…”
The wheel started to spin and as expected, it landed on the SSS-Rank car.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have won an SSS-Rank Car!]
The system’s voice rang out, confirming her win.
A bright flash of light filled the room, and right before her eyes, a sleek, futuristic car appeared.
It was jet black, with a shiny chrome finish, and its design looked like something out of a sci-fi movie.
The car had massive tires that could probably handle any terrain, and the system mentioned it was zombie-proof and came with energy shields.
Without hesitation, Su Jiyai put the car in her storage ring and teleported in front of Jake and Xi Ping.

For Xi Ping and Jake, Su Jiyai was just like a ball of light.
“Xi Ping, can you teleport us to an open forest?”
“I can.” Xi Ping nodded.
Once they arrived in the deserted forest, the air felt cold and quiet.
Su Jiyai took out her veil, closed her eyes, and focused on opening the portal.
As Su Jiyai concentrated, a faint glow began to form in front of her. She wished in her heart that the portal which is about to open, should contain all the herbs to treat Qin Feng’s charred skin.
The portal swirled slowly at first, like a tiny spark, but it grew larger with each passing second.
The colors of the portal were like a galaxy—swirls of blue, purple, and silver, mixed with tiny specks of light that looked like stars.
When the portal fully opened, it hummed softly, and a gentle wind flowed from it. Jake and Xi Ping stood nearby, watching in awe, though they had seen strange things before, this portal felt different, more powerful.
“This is it,” Su Jiyai said calmly, her eyes reflecting the swirling colors of the portal. She turned toward Jake and Xi Ping and gave them a nod.
Then, without warning, she jumped toward Jake.
Jake, though caught off guard, instinctively reached out and caught her.
“Hey! Be careful, will you?” he scolded, his tone a mix of worry and annoyance.
Su Jiyai just rolled her eyes and let out a soft “woof” in her wolf form, as if mocking him.
Her eyes shifted toward Xi Ping, and then she nudged Jake with her paw, signaling something.
Jake, though not entirely sure at first, slowly understood.
“Oh… she’s saying we need to stick together. Xi Ping, you need to hold my hand.”
Xi Ping looked at him, confused. “Why?”
“The assistant thinks we might get lost if we don’t stick together when we jump into the portal. We have to hold hands so we don’t get separated,” Jake explained, glancing at Su Jiyai, who nodded in agreement.
Xi Ping hesitated for a second, but she trusted them.
“Alright,” she said, stepping forward and reaching out for Jake’s hand.
Her fingers wrapped around his, but the moment she touched him, she felt something strange.
A rush of energy flowed through her, warm and unfamiliar, like an electric current.
It made her skin tingle, and for a brief moment, she wanted to pull her hand away.
“What…what is this?” Xi Ping muttered, her brows furrowing in confusion.
Jake noticed her discomfort and looked over.
“It’s probably just the portal’s energy. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it,” he assured her.
Xi Ping took a deep breath and nodded, deciding to ignore the strange feeling for now.
Time was running out, and the portal wouldn’t stay open forever. They had to go.
“Alright, let’s do this,” Jake said, tightening his grip on Xi Ping’s hand.
He glanced at Su Jiyai, who wagged her tail, signaling that it was time to jump.
Together, the three of them moved toward the swirling portal.
The colors danced around them, making the air feel thicker as if they were pushing through a wall of water.
Just before they entered, Su Jiyai gave Jake and Xi Ping one last look, her blue eyes serious.
And then, in a single leap, they jumped into the portal.
The moment they passed through, everything shifted. The colors around them blurred, and they felt weightless as if they were floating in space.
The swirling colors soon faded, and the world around them solidified.
They found themselves standing in a new place, but it wasn’t like anything they had seen before.
The sky above was a deep purple, with streaks of gold cutting through the clouds.
