Chapter 312: Chapter 312: Hidden Treasure
He held a long spear and stared at Xi Ping with cold, determined eyes.
Xi Ping felt her heart race, but she quickly calmed herself. She had faced tougher enemies before. She wasn’t going to let this guy scare her.
“Okay,” Xi Ping muttered to herself, clenching her fists. “Let’s do this.”
The warrior didn’t waste any time. He charged at Xi Ping with incredible speed, his spear aimed straight at her chest.
But Xi Ping was faster.
With her super speed, she zipped out of the way just in time, causing the warrior to stumble as he missed his target.
“You’re going to have to be quicker than that,” Xi Ping smirked.
The warrior spun around, swinging his spear in a wide arc. But Xi Ping was already behind him, moving faster than his eyes could track.
Using her super strength, Xi Ping delivered a powerful punch to the warrior’s back. The impact sent him flying across the arena, crashing into one of the pillars.
The ground shook from the force of the blow, but the warrior wasn’t down yet.
He stood up, his armor dented but his spirit unbroken. He charged at Xi Ping again, this time faster, more focused.
Xi Ping narrowed her eyes. “Alright, time to end this.”
She teleported right in front of him, catching him off guard, and then delivered another crushing blow, this time to his chest.
The warrior fell to the ground with a loud thud, his spear clattering beside him.
Xi Ping stood over him, panting slightly but still full of energy.
The booming voice echoed again. “Well done. You have defeated the warrior. As your reward, you may choose one prize.”
A table appeared in the center of the arena, and on it were three items: a glowing pill, a book with a golden cover, and a shiny black stone.
Xi Ping’s eyes scanned the items. The pill looked powerful, but she wasn’t sure what it did. The book was tempting—it could be a rare cultivation technique. And the stone… it felt mysterious.
She thought for a moment before reaching out and grabbing the book. Knowledge was power, after all.
As soon as she made her choice, she was teleported to the next floor.
Xi Ping blinked, finding herself standing on the second floor of the pagoda.
The surroundings were completely different this time. Instead of an arena, it looked like a grand library filled with towering shelves of books and scrolls.
She clutched her prize, the golden book, wondering if this new floor was testing her mind instead of her strength.
But before she could explore, a voice echoed in the room.
“You have passed the first challenge, but the second will test your intellect. Solve this riddle to proceed.”
Xi Ping sighed. A riddle, huh? She wasn’t exactly excited about this, but she wasn’t scared either. She nodded, signaling that she was ready.
The voice spoke again:
“I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?”
Xi Ping frowned, thinking hard.
No body? But comes alive with the wind?

It didn’t make much sense at first, but then she thought about what could make sound without a physical form.
It hit her. “An echo,” she said confidently.
There was a brief pause, and then the voice responded, “Correct. You may now move forward.”
Xi Ping exhaled in relief. That wasn’t too bad. She felt a soft pull and before she knew it, she was teleported once again—this time to the third floor.
At the same time, Su Jiyai entered the cultivation pagoda too.
Meanwhile, Su Jiyai stepped into the pagoda, her wolf ears twitching nervously.
She wasn’t sure what kind of challenge awaited her, but she knew it couldn’t be worse than what she had already gone through the past few days.
The voice gave the riddle:
“I’m light as a feather, yet the strongest person can’t hold me for long. What am I?”
Su Jiyai frowned for a moment.
This one was tricky, but she knew the answer. “It’s breath!” she shouted, sure of herself.
“Correct,” the voice boomed. A scroll appeared in the air in front of her, slowly floating down. “As your reward, take this body tempering technique.”
Su Jiyai grabbed the scroll with both hands, her eyes lighting up.
A body tempering technique? That was rare and powerful! She smiled to herself as she carefully stored the scroll in her ring.
But there was no time to relax.
The voice spoke again, and before she could catch her breath, Su Jiyai was teleported to the second floor.
She arrived in a dimly lit room, feeling a bit more pressure this time. The voice came again, deeper and more challenging.
“Another riddle awaits. Solve this, and you may make a wish.”
Su Jiyai’s ears twitched in curiosity. A wish? That was tempting. She listened closely as the voice delivered the next riddle:
“The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?”
Su Jiyai furrowed her brow. This one was tougher, and she took a moment to think. What could you take but still leave behind?
Suddenly, it hit her. “Footsteps!” she blurted out, a grin spreading across her face.
“Correct again,” the voice responded, sounding impressed. “You may now make one wish.”
Without hesitation, Su Jiyai knew exactly what she wanted. “I wish for Star Drop Flowers!”
As soon as she said it, a soft shimmer appeared in the air, and suddenly, 100 glowing Star Drop Flowers materialized before her.
She gasped in delight and quickly gathered them up, placing each one carefully into her storage ring.
“Yes!” she whispered, feeling victorious.
Su Jiyai thought about leaving the cultivation pagoda. She had already got what she wanted. And now she can even leave the cultivation world and return to her world!
Just as she was about to leave, the system’s prompt came.
[Host! Don’t leave! There is a treasure hidden in this Pagoda, using which you can make the soil of your world fertile.]
