Chapter 327: Chapter 327: Fire And Posion Element
“I know the 2nd plate might be in Crystal Cove, but so what? What about the 3rd, the 4th, 5th, 6th and the 7th one? Should sniff and try to find the plates for just 70 million points? Dream on.” Su Jiyai said in a cold voice.
Just the mere thought of having to sniff the ground to search for the metallic plates in Crystal Cove made Su Jiyai’s headache.
“What are you talking about?” Xi Ping’s voice snapped her out of her daze. Jake gave a glance to Su Jiyai, who nodded in return, before telling her everything.
Xi Ping was silent for a while, before tilting her head, “I think…I might know…where the second plate is…if I am not wrong…it is in the crystal cove base.”
Su Jiyai’s eyes light up and she tapped on Jake’s arms. Jake understanding her request asked Xi Ping,
“Do you know the specific location?”
“Moutain area…I can lead you there as long as we teleport there.”
Su Jiyai’s eyes lit up and she agreed. She first gave a command to Jake to destroy the metallic plate.
Only when the metallic plate is destroyed the area’s temperature will return to normal.
However even after Jake used all of his strength, there were not many changes on the plates.
Even with Xi Ping and Jake’s combined efforts, the metallic plate remained unscathed, its surface unmarred by their attempts.
Jake’s fists, normally capable of shattering bone and stone, merely glanced off the plate’s hardened exterior with a dull thud, while Xi Ping’s powerful strikes, imbued with her superhuman strength, proved just as ineffective.
Su Jiyai, still in her wolf cub form, frowned in frustration.
“System, what’s going on? Why can’t we destroy this thing?”
[Ding! Host, the weather-controlling plates are reinforced with an advanced alloy designed to withstand extreme physical force. Only a specific type of energy can deactivate or destroy them. Unfortunately, conventional attacks will not suffice.]
Su Jiyai’s eyes narrowed as the system’s words settled in.
“A specific energy?” she echoed. “And how exactly are we supposed to get our hands on that?”
The system hesitated briefly before replying,
[It is theorized that the plates can only be destroyed using a concentrated form of elemental energy. In your case, a combination of fire and poison would be effective. Alternatively, locating all seven plates and aligning them in reverse would deactivate their control over the weather.]
Su Jiyai sighed, a deep irritation bubbling under the surface.
“So you’re saying I need to either gather all seven plates or somehow produce enough elemental energy to destroy just one?”
[Correct, Host,] the system confirmed.
Jake glanced down at her, sensing her growing frustration.
“This plate is practically indestructible,” he muttered, wiping the dust from his hands. “We’ll need another plan.”
Su Jiyai shook her. She had fire element and she just needed poison element awakener. After she explained the condition to Jake, she asked the question bugging her,
“But how did the Hua tribe suddenly…turn out this? Is there any other place which is attacked?”
The first guess that Su Jiyai came up with was…maybe all the places that have been attacked have this plate in their base.
To know the answer, Su Jiyai, decided to return.
Soon, Jake, Xi Ping, and Su Jiyai returned to the base. Su Jiyai asked Yuan Xin to report to her the urgent matters, while Jake and Xi Ping returned to their rooms.

“Has anything major happened in the past few days I was away?” Su Jiyai asked.
Yuan Xin instantly reported,
“Boss Rover base has been attacked. They agreed to the condition two days ago, but you weren’t present so i couldn’t take any decision for the time being.”
Su Jiyai was taken aback.
“Attacked? By zombies?”
“Yes boss, a zombie tide has appeared and it would have nearly wiped out the entire Rover base if it wasn’t for the reinforcement sent by our base. However, from the information I have received the situation doesn’t seem that positive anymore.”
“Hm? Explain properly.” Su Jiyai said calmly.
“The reinforcement has said, that on the first day, they were able to deal with 50% of zombies and almost was able to get over the zombie tide.
But who would have thought that the next day the number of zombies would double and the tide would grow even stronger?
It seemed almost as if the zombies were being guided or controlled by some external force.
As of now, nearly 80% of Rover Base’s defense has been decimated, and the remaining survivors are struggling to hold out. Reinforcements have been stretched thin.”
Su Jiyai’s expression darkened as she processed the news.
“Controlled? You mean to say this zombie tide isn’t a natural occurrence?”
Yuan Xin hesitated before responding,
“That’s the suspicion. The zombies are showing unusual coordination, and their numbers are too large to be a random horde. It’s as if someone, or something, is deliberately orchestrating this attack.”
Su Jiyai’s mind immediately went to the weather-controlling plates. Could they be linked to this zombie surge?
After all, if the plates could control something as vast as the climate, there might be other unseen forces connected to them that could influence the undead.
“Yuan Xin,” she said sharply, “do we have any reports on strange phenomena around Rover Base? Anything unusual before the tide began?”
Yuan Xin quickly checked his datapad,
“Boss Su, from all the data, other than the extreme heat, there were no other changes.”
No other changes? Su Jiyai frowned.
Maybe the plates weren’t…the reason for the zombie tide.
“Contact the Rover Base,” Su Jiyai ordered.
“I want a full report on their current situation, and tell them to be on the lookout for any signs of underground structures or hidden mechanisms. If my hunch is correct, there might be another plate buried nearby.”
“But…boss, their base is on the verge of getting collapse…” Yuan Xin reminded.
“Oh right. First I want a verbal confirmation from Ge Chuli and he need to sign off a contract…Wait, I will visit him in two minutes, you go and tell him about my arrival.”
Yuan Xin nodded and hurried off to carry out her command.
