Chapter 352: Chapter 352: Food Stall
Su Yun’s heart pounded in rage, but on the outside, she looked like a trembling flower caught in a storm. She bit her lip, nodding slowly, as if she was overwhelmed by emotion. “R-Really? You’d still want to be with me, even though I tried to push you away?”
Pei Meng nodded so fiercely that it looked like his head might fall off. “Yes! No matter what, I’ll stay by your side! Forever!”
The crowd erupted into applause and cheers.
“Awww! This is so romantic!”
“True love always wins!”
“Su Yun, you’re so lucky to have a man like Pei Meng!”
“But listen, Su Yun,” an older woman suddenly spoke up, her voice stern but kind.
“Don’t ever try to break up with him again. If you do, people might misunderstand you as a gold digger for real. You wouldn’t want that, would you?”
Su Yun froze, her fists clenching at her sides. She wanted to scream, but instead, she forced a grateful smile and nodded. “You’re right. I won’t ever do something so foolish again.”
Pei Meng grinned, pulling Su Yun into a hug as the crowd cheered for their ‘love story.’
Su Yun, trapped in his embrace, kept her smile frozen on her face.
Inside, however, she was screaming.
‘I’M DOOMED!’
Su Yun sat in her room, arms crossed, her mind spinning.
She knew she couldn’t rely on Pei Meng forever, and she had to find a way to earn money fast.
After all, she wasn’t going to let herself live like some struggling beggar. She wanted a comfortable life, luxury, and—most importantly—freedom.
Then, an idea struck her. Food! Everyone needed food.
If she started a food stall, not only could she earn a lot of points, but she could also interact with all sorts of people—especially young men with deep pockets.
She could charm them, make them feel special, and maybe one of them would take care of her. It was a perfect plan!
She turned to Pei Meng with excitement in her eyes.
“Pei Meng, I’ve decided! I’m going to open a food stall in the market!”
Pei Meng gave her a strange look, tilting his head.
“Food stall? But… can you even cook?”
Su Yun’s eye twitched.
“What kind of question is that?! Of course, I can cook! My food is delicious!”
Pei Meng didn’t look convinced, but Su Yun ignored him.
Without wasting time, she gathered all her savings and rented a spot in the market. With a determined heart, she set up her little stall, placing a big sign in front:
“SU YUN’S DELICIOUS FRIED NOODLES – ONLY 500 POINTS PER BOWL!”
She took a deep breath, patted her hair to make sure she looked perfect, and then put on her most charming smile. With an enthusiastic voice, she started calling out.
“Fresh, hot fried noodles! The most delicious in the whole base! Come and try the taste of happiness!”
People walking by turned their heads at the new stall, curious. Some whispered to each other.
“A new food stall?”

“500 points? That’s kind of expensive for just noodles.”
“But look at the owner. She’s pretty. Maybe it’s worth checking out.”
Slowly, a few people approached.
Su Yun’s eyes sparkled as she saw a young man with a shy expression hesitantly step forward.
He had an innocent face, the kind that could be easily tricked—Su Yun’s favorite kind of customer.
She leaned forward slightly, resting her chin on her hand.
“Oh my, you must be tired. A strong young man like you needs a good meal! My fried noodles are made with love. Want to try a bowl?”
The young man blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Uh… sure, I guess.”
He handed over 500 points, and Su Yun quickly scooped up a bowl of noodles, handing it to him with a flirtatious smile. “Enjoy~”
The young man took a bite, and… his face instantly fell.
Su Yun’s smile stiffened. “W-What’s wrong? It’s delicious, right?”
The young man swallowed awkwardly, forcing a smile. “Uh… it’s… fine.”
But before Su Yun could say anything else, more customers arrived, curious to try the food. People in the crowd started murmuring as they watched.
“500 points for noodles? That’s pretty pricey.”
“Well, she does look confident about it. Maybe it’s worth it?”
“I hope it’s good…”
One by one, customers bought their bowls and took their first bites. Su Yun stood proudly, hands on her hips, waiting for the praise to roll in. But instead…
“…Wait a minute.”
“This… this is just average.”
“It’s kind of bland. Did she forget to season it?”
“I’ve had better fried noodles for half the price!”
More and more customers started whispering, looking at each other with disappointment.
One of them, an older man with sharp eyes, frowned deeply and turned to Su Yun.
“Young lady, are you serious? You’re charging 500 points for this? This isn’t worth even 200!”
Su Yun panicked. She clapped her hands and laughed nervously.
“Oh, come on now! You just don’t appreciate good cooking! This is high-quality gourmet food! You should savor it slowly!”
A woman with crossed arms scoffed.
“Gourmet? Please. It’s just some oily noodles with barely any flavor. You overhyped it!”
A man beside her nodded.
“Yeah, I was expecting something amazing, but this is just… normal food. And it’s too expensive.”
The whispers in the crowd grew louder, turning into grumbles of discontent.
“I want a refund!” someone shouted.
“Me too! This is a scam!”
Su Yun’s smile twitched. “A-Ah, refunds aren’t allowed! Once you buy it, it’s yours! That’s the rule!”
The crowd erupted into complaints.
“This is ridiculous!”
“She’s just trying to cheat us!”
“What a waste of money! I could have bought two meals for this price!”
Su Yun clenched her fists, feeling anger bubbling inside her.
How dare they?! She was giving them a chance to taste her amazing cooking, and they dared to complain. These ungrateful fools!
Just as things were about to get worse, a loud voice suddenly cut through the noise.
“Everyone, calm down! Let’s not be too harsh on Su Yun!”
