Chapter 364: Chapter 364: Immortal World’s Items
A woman in a red jacket gasped.
“This… this could change everything!” she said, holding up a bottle of Swift Steps Elixir.
“I don’t have any powers, but if I can cultivate spiritual energy… I could actually defend myself against the zombies!”
More and more people started to buy the items, especially the Basic Cultivation Manual. It was the first step in the path of cultivation, and everyone wanted to try it.
The excitement in the air grew, and people were lining up to purchase the items.
“Boss Su really understands us,” one man said as he bought the manual.
“She didn’t just think about the superhumans. She gave us regular folks a chance to be strong too.”
Another woman nodded.
“Yeah, finally we won’t have to rely on others to protect us. We can stand up for ourselves.”
One by one, the tenants expressed their gratitude.
“Boss Su is a genius! I always knew she was smart, but this? This is next level!” a young man exclaimed as he paid for his Strengthening Powder.
Soon, the word spread through the entire base.
Even people who had been skeptical at first were now coming to the shops to buy items and start their own cultivation journey.
In just a few hours, Hope Base was buzzing with excitement.
People who once thought they’d be helpless forever were now filled with hope.
They could sense that their lives were about to change, all thanks to Su Jiyai’s vision and her willingness to give everyone a fighting chance.
For superhumans it was another chance to gain more power, for non-superhumans it was another chance to gain power equivalent to superpower.
………….
Meanwhile, at Rover Base, things weren’t as calm and exciting as at Hope Base.
Instead of happy faces and lines of people buying items, there was tension in the air.
The scene felt chaotic, with people arguing, shouting, and some even fighting.
“Why should I hand over my land?!” one man yelled, his fists clenched tightly.
“I’ve lived here for years! I don’t care how nice the new apartments are, I’m not moving!”
Another woman was shaking her head furiously.
“I don’t trust this Boss Su,” she muttered to a group of people around her.
“She’s trying to take everything. First, she wants our land, then what? She’ll control everything here! No way!”
There were only a few people in the Rover Base who had agreed to hand over their land to Su Jiyai.
They were the ones standing on the side, looking nervous but trying to stay quiet.
They had seen how powerful and organized Su Jiyai was, and they didn’t want to mess with her.

But the others, the 2% who refused, were loud and angry.
They didn’t trust anyone easily, especially someone who had risen to power so quickly.
To them, Su Jiyai’s deals sounded too good to be true. They felt like they were being tricked like they would lose everything if they gave in.
“She thinks she can just take over everything!” an older man with a grizzled beard spat on the ground. “I’ll fight for my land if I have to.”
Some people nodded in agreement, but others started to waver.
They had heard about the new shops Su Jiyai had built.
A few of them were curious, wondering if maybe, just maybe, she wasn’t trying to trick them after all.
“Maybe we should just see what she’s offering,” a younger woman suggested cautiously.
“I mean, if she’s really giving us a way to become stronger… isn’t that a good thing?”
Her words were met with scowls and glares from some of the others, but a few people hesitated.
“How do we know it’s not a trap?” someone else grumbled.
“Once we give her our land, what if she kicks us out? What if she uses her power to control us? What if she is just acting?”
The other citizens of the Rover Base fell silent.
Some of them had enough and said,
“It’s alright if you don’t want to hand over the land, no one forced you. Stop trying to paint Boss Su as some kind of villain.”
“Exactly. I was wondering whether I was the only one who felt they were talking too much.”
“Correct. Hey, if you all don’t trust Boss Su, you all are more than welcome to stay away. Stop talking nonsense about Boss Su.”
The crowd at Rover Base was getting louder, the tension between the two sides growing more intense.
Those who trusted Su Jiyai were tired of hearing the others complain.
“Yeah, no one’s forcing you to do anything,” a young man with short hair said, crossing his arms.
“But don’t go bad-mouthing Boss Su just because you’re scared.”
A tall woman in the crowd nodded, agreeing with him.
“We’ve all heard the stories from Hope Base. People are getting stronger, even the ones without powers. Why shouldn’t we give it a try?
Also if she truly wanted to kick all of us, she would have done a long time ago. She wouldn’t hand over the deeds of property to us in the first place.”
The ones who were still suspicious looked at each other, unsure of what to say.
They were nervous about giving up their land, but deep down, some of them were starting to wonder if maybe they were overreacting.
“Fine,” the older man with the grizzled beard muttered.
“But I’m keeping my land. I’ll watch from the sidelines and see how this plays out.”
“That’s your choice,” the young man with short hair said, shrugging.
“But don’t come crying to us if you realize later that you missed out on something big.”
The crowd slowly began to disperse.
Just then the newly built shops caught the eyes of some of the citizens.
They entered the store and were surprised to find strange items.
After examining the items, all of them were surprised before starting to buy the Basic Cultivation Manual and returning home to practice it.
