Chapter 367: Chapter 367: Lin Hao’s Confrontration
Lin Hao’s heart ached when he saw Su Jiyai’s tears.
Was she torn apart because she had feelings for two different men according to her?
“I should tell her the truth.”
With a determined gaze, he returned to Lin Hao’s body.
Till now he had a rough understanding of what Su Jiyai was going through.
In the past 2 months, he kept on hearing how Su Jiyai had to reach some level 5 and is bounded by a system, which was preventing her from showing her real face to the world.
He decided to come clean to her and tell her everything.
Using Lin Hao’s body, he walked inside the conference room.
“Good morning Boss Su.” He greeted.
Su Jiyai who had wiped away her tears was stunned by Lin Hao’s sudden appearance.
“Ah? Mr. Lin, what are you doing here?” Su Jiyai asked in a surprised tone.
Lin Hao looked toward the speaker and said,
“Boss Su I want to tell you something. I hope you are all alone.”
Su Jiyai blinked before confirming,
“I am all alone.”
“Boss Su, the truth is I am Qin Feng. My soul has been teleported to Lin Hao’s body.
Su Jiyai froze, her mind grappling with what Lin Hao—no, Qin Feng—had just said.
“You… you’re Qin Feng?” Her voice was barely above a whisper, disbelieving and shocked.
Lin Hao—Qin Feng—nodded solemnly.
“One and half years ago, when I had dived into the acidic water, to rescue which had the same biological genes as Su Jiyai’s and which I mistook for Su Jiyai’s, I almost died.”
Su Jiyai’s heart felt heavy, her mind was buzzing.
Qin Feng almost died?
“I thought, I would die, but for some reason, I ended up in the body of Lin Hao. Lin Hao was an anomaly. For some reason, even after he was injected with the zombie virus, he wasn’t affected.
The Institute’s people thought he would awaken his superpower.
And started to experiment on him, and as he result he died and I got teleported into his body.
The moment I took control, only my psychic power was persevered.”
Su Jiyai suddenly interrupted him, her eyes narrowing as she crossed her arms.
“Stop pretending. Lin Hao, do you think I’m stupid?” Her voice was ice-cold, piercing through the quiet room.
Qin Feng—still in Lin Hao’s body—blinked in confusion.
“Pretending? What do you mean?”

Su Jiyai stood up, pacing in front of him, her anger evident in her rigid movements.
“Qin Feng didn’t have psychic powers. His main powers were thunder and fire elements. There’s no way you’re Qin Feng.”
Her accusation hung in the air like a heavy storm cloud. Qin Feng, stunned, took a step back, his brows furrowing in disbelief.
“What? No… wait, Su…Boss Su, you’re mistaken. I am Qin Feng.”
But Su Jiyai wasn’t convinced.
“Do you think I don’t know Qin Feng? I know which superpower he had and which he didn’t.” she spat, her words sharp as knives.
Qin Feng opened his mouth to respond, but she wasn’t done.
“I never expected you, Lin Hao, to try and deceive me with this cheap trick. Pretending to be someone you’re not?”
She let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head in disbelief.
“I saved you, and this is how you repay me? By lying?” Her voice cracked, the fury and betrayal evident in her tone.
“I should have known better than to trust you!” Su Jiyai’s chest heaved as she spoke, her emotions spiraling out of control.
“Get out of my base. Now.”
Qin Feng stood there, speechless, trying to make sense of her sudden rage. He hadn’t expected her to lash out like this.
“Boss Su, please, calm down,” he said slowly, his voice steady.
“You have to listen to me first.”
“I don’t want to hear it!” She turned her back on him, but there was a slight hesitation in her movements as if she wasn’t sure whether to leave or stay.
“Boss Su” Qin Feng raised his voice, but there was no anger in it—only desperation. “Please… let me explain.”
After a moment, Su Jiyai exhaled sharply.
“Fine,” she muttered, her back still turned. “Talk.”
Qin Feng took a deep breath, collecting his thoughts. He knew this was his only chance to make her understand.
“I know it’s hard to believe, but I didn’t show everyone everything back then. Yes, my main powers were thunder and fire elements, but… do you really think I would have survived my first encounter with the Zombie King with just those two abilities?”
Su Jiyai’s back stiffened, but she didn’t respond. He took it as a sign to continue.
“The Zombie King isn’t like the other zombies. His power is on a whole different level. When I faced him, I barely survived with just my elements. He had this terrifying mind control ability, and I couldn’t fight back with thunder and fire alone.”
Qin Feng paused, his eyes searching for any sign of understanding from Su Jiyai.
But with the speaker as the only source connecting him, he couldn’t any signs.
He continued when Su Jiyai didn’t speak for the next few minutes,
“Actually, I awakened a special type of superpower once I lost someone very close to me…you know her, Su Jiyai. When I lost her, I went berserk and in a rage awakened a special type of superpower. The one that would help me to copy anyone’s superpower ”
Su Jiyai, who had been rigid with anger moments ago, now stood frozen.
“With that superpower, I became powerful and started my search, and when I found Su Jiyai’s fake body. I was so desperate… anyway. I ended up in Lin Hao’s body but only my psychic powers were left with me.”
Qin Feng raised his head, looking directly at the speaker on the wall, his expression suddenly changing.
“But, Boss Su,” he said, his tone shifting to one of casual curiosity,
“I’ve been wondering… how is it that you seem to know so much about my past? About my superpowers, about me as Qin Feng?”
