Chapter 383: Chapter 383: Shameless?
“We can do this and I just… wanted to remind you how much you mean to me.”

Su Jiyai’s tail wagged furiously, and she tried to hide her face in his chest, feeling incredibly flustered.

“C-could you… maybe do that again?” she mumbled.

For some reason, she felt a strange sense of satisfaction when Qin Feng kissed her.

Qin Feng chuckled, leaning down to press another gentle kiss to her forehead.

This time, Su Jiyai didn’t try to hide her happiness. Instead, she nuzzled closer to him, letting herself enjoy the moment.

As the night went on, they stayed like that—cuddling, sharing soft kisses, and simply enjoying each other’s presence.

This was the peace they got after a long while. This was the peace they fought for and never dreamt of once.

Su Jiyai soon fell asleep, while Qin Feng stared in her direction.

He couldn’t believe he finally had Su Jiyai close to him. Though she was in wolf form, he knew she had a human form too.

However, if she wants to appear in front of him in human form, she has to upgrade to level 5.

Currently, she is in level 3 and close to achieving the task which could help her upgrade.

Qin Feng however didn’t dare to voice out all of this knowledge. He knew that Su Jiyai was binded by a system that wouldn’t let her show her face.

‘Once she upgrades to level 5 and that system allows her to show face, I will tear off that jerk system.’ Qin Feng thought.

His expression turned dark the more he thought.

Qin Feng sighed, shaking off the dark thoughts.

He didn’t want to ruin the peaceful moment with anger. Instead, he looked down at the sleeping Su Jiyai in his arms.

She looked so peaceful, her little wolf body curled up against him.

He smiled softly, brushing a strand of fur away from her face.

“I’ll wait for you,” he whispered, though he knew she couldn’t hear him. “No matter how long it takes, I’ll be here.”

As Su Jiyai slept, Qin Feng felt his own eyes growing heavy.

The warmth of the night, the soft rhythm of her breathing—it all made him feel relaxed.

Before long, he found himself dozing off too, still holding Su Jiyai close.

The next morning, Su Jiyai woke up first.

She blinked her sleepy eyes, realizing she was still cuddled up in Qin Feng’s arms.

Her heart skipped a beat when she saw his peaceful sleeping face.

For a moment, she just stared at him and wished…wished that every day, she wakes up in his arms.

Though she had a warm bed to sleep on, she always lacked the warmth of a person beside her.

Slowly, she wiggled out of his arms, trying not to wake him.

But as soon as she moved, Qin Feng stirred and blinked his eyes open.

“Mmm… good morning,” he mumbled sleepily, rubbing his eyes.

When he saw Su Jiyai, his face lit up with a soft smile. “You sleep well?”

Su Jiyai nodded, feeling her tail wag again. “Yeah… did you?”

“Best sleep I’ve had in a long time,” Qin Feng said, sitting up and stretching. “Thanks to you.”

Su Jiyai felt her face heat up, but before she could say anything, Qin Feng stood up and grinned.

“Let’s take a bath.”

“Huh? Alright, you go ahead.” Su Jiyai motioned with her paw.

Qin Feng stood up and took out his clothes. Just as he was about to enter, he paused.

Qin Feng unbuttoned his shirt slowly, revealing his well-defined chest and six-pack abs.

His muscles flexed as he moved, and Su Jiyai couldn’t help but stare, her tail wagging even faster.

“Are you sure you don’t want to join me?” Qin Feng asked with a teasing grin, his voice low and smooth.

He flexed his biceps a little as he tossed his shirt aside, making sure Su Jiyai noticed.

Su Jiyai’s face turned bright red.

She quickly looked away, trying to act uninterested, but she couldn’t stop sneaking glances at him.

“I-I’m fine right here!” she stammered, her voice squeaking.

Qin Feng chuckled, stepping closer to her.

He was enjoying her flustered reaction.

“Come on, it’ll be more fun if you join me,” he said, leaning down slightly, his toned chest just inches from her face.

Su Jiyai’s heart raced.

She felt like her whole body was on fire, and she didn’t know where to look.

“I-I’m a wolf right now! It’s not fair!” she blurted out, hiding her face with her paws.

Qin Feng just smirked, clearly amused by her embarrassment.

“Doesn’t matter what form you’re in. You’re still you, and I’m still me,” he said with a wink.

Su Jiyai peeked through her paws, her eyes drifting back to his abs.

“Y-you’re too much,” she muttered, feeling completely flustered.

Qin Feng laughed softly, enjoying how cute she looked.

“Alright, alright, I’ll stop teasing,” he said, though he didn’t put his shirt back on.

Instead, he walked toward the bathroom, giving her one last playful look.

“But if you change your mind… you know where to find me.”

Su Jiyai watched him go, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts.

She shook her head, trying to calm down, but her heart was still racing.

“Why does he have to look like that?” she mumbled to herself, her tail still wagging despite her best efforts to stop it.

As Qin Feng disappeared into the bathroom, Su Jiyai flopped down onto the cushion, covering her face with her paws again.

“This is too much for me…” she whispered.

She couldn’t even down anything to him, in her current state!

What could a tiny wolf cub possibly do?

‘You have a bigger form too…if you want to do something, you can do it. He asked for it anyways.’ Her inner voice said and Su Jiyai scolded herself for being shameless.

However her body was much more honest, she transformed into her adult wolf form and slowly got down from bed.
