Chapter 385: Chapter 385: 100,000 points
The black-cloaked man pulled out a small, ancient-looking scroll from his robe.
The parchment was yellowed, the edges torn, and strange symbols covered its surface. It looked exactly like the kind of secret technique a hidden master would possess!
“This is the ‘Heavenly Dragon Void Art,'” the man said in a low voice.
“A technique so powerful that it was sealed away for thousands of years. Only a true genius can unlock its potential.”
Su Jin’s breath hitched. Heavenly Dragon Void Art?! Even the name sounded incredible!
“How… how do I learn it?” he asked, almost whispering.
The shorter man cleared his throat.
“Well, of course, something this precious cannot be given away freely. But since fate has brought you here, we shall not ask for much. Just a small offering to prove your sincerity.”
Su Jin’s excitement dimmed a little. “An offering?”
The black-cloaked man nodded.
“Yes. Normally, this scroll is worth tens of thousands of credits, but for you… we shall only ask for a mere 100,000 points.”
Su Jin gulped.
That was half his savings.
But wasn’t this what he had been waiting for? A true inheritance! If he refused now, he might regret it forever!
He clenched his fists. “A-Alright! I’ll buy it!”
The two men shared a barely noticeable smirk before the black-cloaked man solemnly handed over the scroll.
Su Jin fished out his card and transferred the amount without hesitation.
The moment the transaction was complete, the black-cloaked man placed a hand on Su Jin’s shoulder.
“Remember, young one. This technique is not to be shared. Train diligently, and one day, you shall rise above all others.”
Su Jin nodded vigorously. “I won’t let you down, senior!”
With that, the two men quickly disappeared into the shadows, leaving Su Jin holding his precious new scroll.
He could hardly contain his excitement as he rushed back to his small rented room in the base.
Locking the door behind him, he carefully unrolled the scroll, his hands trembling.
The strange symbols looked even more mysterious up close. He squinted at them, trying to decipher their meaning.
And then… he froze.
It was a dual cultivation technique! However, the problem was, to do this technique he would need a woman who was cultivating too.
Wei Xin wasn’t hell-bent on cultivating. She was busy with her business venture.
Suddenly he thought of the woman named Ma Xing.
She was pestering him for the past 3 weeks and was trying to seduce him, even though she was already in a relationship with a powerful superhuman!
Ma Xing was a cultivator too!

Su Jin was tempted by Ma Xing’s body but he was scared of his own wife too.
“What if this doesn’t work?” he muttered. But he quickly shook the thought away. No, this was his golden chance!
Just as he was deep in thought, a soft knock sounded at the door.
His breath caught in his throat. He knew who it was before he even opened it.
Taking a deep breath, he stood up and walked over, unlocking the door.
The moment it swung open, Ma Xing stood there, her lips curled into a teasing smile. She wore a tight red dress, her long dark hair cascading over her shoulders.
Her eyes held a mischievous glint as she stepped inside without waiting for an invitation.
“Your wife isn’t home, is she?” she asked, closing the door behind her.
Su Jin swallowed hard. “No… she’s out for a while.”
Ma Xing chuckled, running a finger along his chest.
After all, usually, Su Jin would have pushed her away by now. Why did he suddenly tell her the truth?
“You always push me away, Su Jin. What’s changed?”
Su Jin hesitated for a moment.
In the past, he always rejected Ma Xing’s advances. He was scared, not only of Wei Xin but also of the consequences of betraying her.
But now… this was different. He had a purpose. He needed to grow stronger, and this was the only way.
Instead of pulling away like he usually did, Su Jin grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer. Ma Xing’s eyes widened in surprise before her lips curled into an amused smirk.
“Oh? You’re finally giving in?” she teased, pressing her body against him.
Su Jin didn’t answer. He didn’t need to. Instead, he let his actions speak for him.
Their bodies tangled together, and the room was soon filled with deep breaths and hushed whispers.
Su Jin followed every instruction from the scroll, trying to perform the technique exactly as it was described.
But as the minutes passed, something felt wrong.
He was expecting a rush of power, a surge of energy flowing through him, just like the scroll promised.
He waited for the moment he would sense spiritual energy, the moment he would step onto the true path of cultivation.
But… nothing.
Sweat dripped down his forehead, his breathing heavy, but there was no change. No increase in strength. No improvement. Just exhaustion.
After a long moment, Ma Xing chuckled and lay beside him, brushing her fingers through her hair.
“You were never like this before. What changed?” she asked, turning to look at him with curiosity.
Su Jin hesitated before sighing.
“I… I bought a cultivation technique,” he admitted. “It’s supposed to help me breakthrough, but it only works with dual cultivation.”
Ma Xing’s brows lifted in amusement.
“Oh? So that’s why you finally gave in?” She smirked. “And? Did it work?”
Su Jin’s face darkened. “No. I don’t feel any different…”
Ma Xing burst into laughter.
“Maybe you didn’t perform everything perfectly. How about this? Let’s do some more make-out sessions?”
Su Jin’s face turned red, but he quickly shook his head.
“No… something’s wrong. If this technique was real, I should’ve felt something by now.”
Ma Xing stretched her arms lazily, still smiling.
“Well, maybe you just need more practice,” she teased, running a finger down his chest.
Su Jin frowned. He wasn’t in the mood to joke. He sat up and grabbed the scroll from the side table, unrolling it again.
