Chapter 392: Chapter 392: Feud
Su Yun gritted her teeth.
She didn’t believe a single word coming out of Su Rong’s mouth.
What familial affection?
Though Su Rong had shown her proof that the Su Family cared for her, Su Yun couldn’t believe them no matter what.
She has a reason though.
They said they loved her and were looking for her, but after entering Boss Su’s base and starting their own business, they suddenly seemed to have forgotten her presence.
She had to beg them to lend her some money to pay off the past two month’s rent.
When she proposed to join their business, they disagreed.
At last, when they finally agreed and she made a small mistake, they kicked her out!
If Su Rong could hear Su Yun’s inner thoughts, she would have laughed and slapped Su Yun hard.
After all, their business went bankrupt just because of Su Yun’s small mistake.
“What do you want?” Su Yun asked.
Su Rong blinked before shaking her head, “Sister you are…”
“Don’t beat around the bush.” Su Yun interrupted her.
Su Rong took a deep breath and then said slowly,
“Break all the ties with the Su family and pretend as if we don’t exist for you.”
Su Yun’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“What did you just say?” she asked, her voice shaking with anger.
Su Rong met her gaze, her expression calm.
“I said, break all ties with the Su family. From now on, we don’t know each other.”
Su Yun clenched her fists.
“Are you crazy? You’re cutting me off just like that?”
Su Rong sighed.
“Sister, let’s be honest. You’ve never cared about us. You only come to us when you need something.”
She looked down at their father’s lifeless body. “And now… this. You went too far.”
Su Yun’s face turned red with rage.
“Too far? I did what was necessary! If you hadn’t tricked me, this wouldn’t have happened!”
Su Rong’s lips curled into a cold smile.
“So it’s my fault now? I never told you to kill Father. That was your choice.”
Su Yun’s hands trembled.

“You planned this, didn’t you?” she accused. “You wanted me to kill him so you could use it against me!”
Su Rong shook her head. “I didn’t plan anything. But I see now that you can never change.”
Su Yun took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. “And what if I say no?” she challenged. “What if I refuse to break ties?”
Su Rong’s expression darkened. “Then I’ll tell everyone what you did.”
Su Yun’s breath caught in her throat. “You wouldn’t dare,” she whispered.
Su Rong stepped closer, her eyes cold and unyielding. “Try me,” she said softly.
For the first time, Su Yun felt fear.
All this time Su Rong was always on Su Yun’s side so Su Yun didn’t realize what type of snake Su Rong was but now…now she did.
Su Yun looked away, biting her lip. She had no choice. If the truth came out, she would be finished.
After a long silence, she exhaled sharply. “Fine,” she muttered. “I’ll cut ties.”
Su Yun left the area knowing she couldn’t gain any benefits from Su Rong.
Today was a huge loss for her. Not only did she not earn a single penny but she also gave away her weakness to Su Rong.
‘Su Rong won’t tell anyone about the murder for the time being but for how long will she keep quiet? No…I have to deal with her!’ She thought.
Su Rong stared at Su Yun’s back for a while before returning to the base.
Fu Wei asked,
“Is the matter dealt with?”
Su Rong shook her head, her expression was dark and she said,
“From Su Yun’s expression, it is clear that she wants to kill me.”
Fu Wei was instantly worried. He hugged Su Rong and asked,
“So what do you plan to do now?”
Su Rong leaned into Fu Wei’s hug for a moment, then took a deep breath and pulled away.
“I have to get rid of her first,” she said coldly.
Fu Wei’s brows furrowed. “Are you sure? She’s dangerous, but if we act too soon, she might use it against us.”
Su Rong shook her head. “If I wait, she’ll find a way to deal with me first. She’s probably already thinking of how to get rid of me.”
Fu Wei sighed. “Then what’s the plan?”
Su Rong’s eyes turned sharp. “We set a trap.”
Fu Wei nodded. “Tell me what you need.”
Su Rong thought for a moment. “First, we will…”
She then told half of her plan.
Fu Wei smirked. “That’ll make her panic.”
Su Rong nodded. “Then, we’ll…”
Fu Wei’s expression turned serious. “And then?”
Su Rong’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Then… we finish this.”
Fu Wei held her hand tightly. “Whatever happens, I’m with you.”
Su Rong looked at him, her heart feeling warm despite the dark situation.
“Good,” she whispered. “Because this time, I won’t hold back.”
………………………….
Su Ring told the truth to Wei Xin.
When Wei Xin learned that Su Jin was dead she cried. Even though she didn’t have much fondness left for Su Jin, it was true that they accompanied her through thick and thin.
He never left her even though she was useless, and she never left even though he was unfaithful.
Knowing that Su Yun had killed Su Jin, she was filled with hatred and said,
“Go ahead and kill her! I will cover for you!”
Su Rong shook her face with an innocent expression and said,
“No Mom, I…how can I…”
“Just do it.” Wei Xin looked at Su Rong firmly.
Su Rong as in great pain nodded.
On the contrary, Su Han was very calm. He didn’t feel any remorse at all.”
After 2 days, whispers began spreading through the base.
“Did you hear? Someone saw Su Yun sneaking out of the base the night Su Jin disappeared.”
“I heard she came back looking pale and shaken. Something happened out there.”
“And Su Jin hasn’t been seen since, right? Suspicious, isn’t it?”
Su Yun, who had been trying to lay low, felt her heart pound every time she overheard the rumors. It was subtle, but the tension was growing.
People were starting to look at her differently, whispering when she passed by.
She gritted her teeth. “Damn that Su Rong…”
This had to be her doing. No one else knew what had happened that night.
Su Yun clenched her fists. She needed to act fast.
That evening, Su Rong sent a message to Su Yun,
“I want to meet you to discuss something personal, please meet me in my room.”
Su Yun’s eyes sparkled and she replied,
“I don’t want your husband to be there. ”
Su Rong’s reply came instantly,
“He is not home anyway.”
Su Yun smirked. This was her chance to deal with Su Rong for once and all!
This was the perfect opportunity.
If she eliminated Su Rong tonight, no one would be able to connect her to Su Jin’s disappearance.
The rumors would fade, and she could finally be free of that snake.
She quickly grabbed a small dagger and hid it inside her sleeve. She couldn’t afford to mess this up.
If Su Rong had really started spreading rumors, she had to silence her before things got out of control.
As she left her rented room, she kept her head low, avoiding eye contact with the other residents of the base.
The last thing she needed was someone noticing her heading towards Su Rong’s place.
When she reached Su Rong’s door, she took a moment to compose herself.
Then, putting on her best-concerned expression, she knocked lightly.
The door creaked open almost immediately, and Su Rong stood there, looking calm as ever. Su Yun forced a smile.
“Sister,” she said, her voice smooth, “what did you want to talk about?”
Su Rong stepped aside, allowing Su Yun to enter. “Come in,” she said simply.
Su Yun stepped inside cautiously.
The space was dimly lit, the soft glow from a single lamp casting long shadows across the wooden floor.
Her eyes darted around, confirming that Fu Wei was indeed absent. A slow smirk crept onto her lips.
“This is a good opportunity,” she thought.
Su Rong turned her back to pour tea, her posture relaxed. That was the moment Su Yun struck.
In a swift motion, she lunged forward, dagger flashing under the dim light.
But just as the blade was about to pierce Su Rong’s back, the latter shifted slightly, as if expecting the attack.
With a graceful step to the side, she grabbed Su Yun’s wrist mid-air, twisting it sharply.
Su Yun gasped, pain shooting up her arm as the dagger clattered to the floor.
Before she could react, Su Rong shoved her against the wall, gripping her throat just hard enough to make breathing difficult.
“You’re predictable,” Su Rong murmured coldly.
Su Yun struggled, her nails digging into Su Rong’s arm, but her strength was no match.
