Chapter 395: Chapter 395: Business
On the other hand, when Su Jiyai got to know that Su Yun had tried to kill Su Rong, she was stunned.
The sisters who acted close and backed each other, had reached the point of killing each other.
Amazing. Her plan truly worked.
She was the one who had hired Ma Xing to seduce Su Jin. She knew Su Jin too well. He was the kind of man who could hardly control his lust.
He had tried to molest her but she never had the chance to expose him. Now he was exposed and that was too for a wrong case.
Did Su Jiyai feel any guilt? Nope. In fact, she felt refreshed. Pest like Su Jin needs to be dealt.
From the dual cultivation technique landing in Su Jin’s hand to Ma Xing framing him, everything was under her plan.
What she didn’t expect was Su Rong to instigate Su Yun to kill Su Jin.
Just 1 month ago, Su Rong and her mother Wei Xin opened a food business.
Since it was her base, Su Jiyai could easily sabotage their business and she did so.
However, for some unknown reason, Su Rong suddenly learned a new noodle recipe.
The recipe was a hit and even when she tried to suppress their business, they were still able to earn some profits.
Su Jiyai accepted that she had developed a vicious heart, because the moment she heard that Su Yun was going to join Wei Xin and Su Rong’s stall, she started to think of ways to ruin their reputation using Su Yun.
Who would have thought that Su Jiyai didn’t have to lift her finger at all and all the work would be done?
Su Yun was in charge of fetching water for the noodles. It was an easy job and hardly interfered with the recipe.
Yet at the same time, it was crucial.
For the first few days, Su Yun did her work diligently, but over time she became unmotivated, so she hired someone else to do the work on her behalf and pocketed the salary.
Who would have thought that the worker she hired was a spy planted by the other competitors?
The spy kept an eye on the recipe and after learning the recipe, he tampered with water too.
………………………
One evening, as customers lined up for Su Rong’s famous noodles, disaster struck.
The first few people who ate the noodles started clutching their stomachs, their faces turning pale. A few minutes later, some of them vomited right on the spot.
“What’s going on?!” someone shouted.
“It must be the food!” another yelled, stepping back in fear.
More and more customers complained about stomach pain. Some even collapsed. Panic spread like wildfire.
Wei Xin rushed out from the back, her face full of worry. “Impossible! Our food is fresh!” she protested.
But no one listened. Someone from the crowd sneered, “Fresh? Then why are people getting sick?”
Su Rong’s hands turned cold. She quickly grabbed a bowl and tasted the noodles herself. Immediately, she knew something was wrong—the water had a strange, bitter taste.
Her heart pounded. Someone had tampered with it!
Before she could explain, a guard pushed through the crowd. “Who’s responsible for this stall?” he demanded.

Wei Xin stepped forward. “I am, sir, but there’s been a mistake—”
“Save it,” the guard cut her off. “You’re coming with us for questioning.”
Su Yun, who had been watching from the side, felt her legs go weak.
This was her fault.
If she had fetched the water herself instead of hiring someone, this wouldn’t have happened.
But there was no way she would take the blame!
Thinking quickly, she pointed at the worker she had hired. “It was him! He was in charge of the water!”
The worker’s eyes widened. “Liar! You paid me to do your job!”
Su Yun’s face twisted. “You must have poisoned the water on purpose! Maybe someone paid you to do it!”
Gasps came from the crowd.
The guard narrowed his eyes. “Is that true?”
The worker clenched his fists. “No! I—I was just doing my job!”
“Then why did you tamper with the water?” Su Rong suddenly asked, her voice sharp.
The worker hesitated, then bolted.
“Catch him!” the guard yelled.
The man didn’t get far before another guard tackled him to the ground. He struggled, but it was useless.
When they searched his pockets, they found a small pouch of powder.
The guard held it up. “This explains everything. You’re coming with us.”
Wei Xin and Su Rong were cleared of blame, but their reputation was ruined. No one wanted to buy from them anymore.
Su Yun let out a sigh of relief. She had escaped trouble.
Or so she thought.
……………………………..
In the end, Wei Xin and Su Rong had to pay 10,000 points to each person who ate at their stall. They became bankrupt and had to ask for money everywhere.
Su Jiyai watched as Su Rong one day had a dream that Su Jin had an antique that would be sold for more than 100 million and became excited.
She wanted the antique and hence started to get close to Su Jin.
Once she had an antique in her hand, she very cleverly killed Su Jin, even without lifting her hand.
Su Jiyai always knew Su Rong was terrifying but she never knew, that in just 2 years she would become so ruthless.
There is a distinction between being a clever person and being a ruthless person.
To use her own family member to achieve her dreams…Su Rong had become a ruthless person.
Hence after writing the letter to Su Yun and sending her to labor camp, Su Jiyai started to think of ways to deal with Su Rong.
Such clever should be dealt with as soon as possible.
Just as she was busy making a plan, she was scooped by a muscular hand.
“Why is my little wolf frowning? Is there something that is bothering you?” Qin Feng aka Lin Hao asked.
Su Jiyai’s tail started to wag a little when she saw him. She shot a helpless glance in her tail’s direction and muttered,
“Traitorous.”
Qin Feng chuckled and held her tail. With a swift motion, he kissed her tail.
Su Jiyai nearly jumped out of her skin.
Her heart skipped a beat, and her blue fur stood up.
Su Jiyai’s face turned bright red, and she pulled her tail back, her voice coming out in a flustered squeak.
“W-What are you doing?!”
Qin Feng grinned, clearly enjoying her reaction.
“What? I can’t give your tail some love? It deserves it,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Su Jiyai’s tail wagged even more, completely betraying her again.
She huffed and crossed her arms, trying to look serious, but it was hard with how fast her heart was beating.
“Y-You’re such a flirt!”
Qin Feng laughed softly, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine.
“Maybe, but I only flirt with you,” he said, leaning closer, his face just inches away from hers.
Su Jiyai paused, an amused expression appeared in her eyes and she said,
“You do realize that you are currently trying to have a romance with a beast?”
Qin Feng blinked at her, and then a mischievous grin spread across his face. “Yeah, so? You’re the cutest little beast I’ve ever seen.”
Su Jiyai’s face turned an even deeper shade of red.
“I—I’m not cute!” she stammered, trying to sound tough, but her wagging tail said otherwise.
Qin Feng chuckled, clearly amused by her reaction.
“Oh really? Then why’s your tail wagging so much, huh?”
Su Jiyai’s eyes widened, and she quickly grabbed her tail, holding it still.
“Traitorous tail…” she muttered under her breath again, earning another laugh from Qin Feng.
He gently ruffled her hair, his touch surprisingly soft for someone with such a strong, muscular build.
“Don’t worry, I like you just the way you are. Beast or not.”
Su Jiyai felt her heart skip a beat again, but this time she didn’t pull away.
Maybe, just maybe, she liked hearing those words.
But of course, she couldn’t let him know that.
She stuck her tongue out at him. “You’re such a smooth-talker.”
Qin Feng didn’t reply, instead, he walked toward the kitchen after placing Su Jiyai down.
Su Jiyai followed him inside.
Qin Feng was already at the stove, messing with a pot and some vegetables. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled at her.
“Want to help me cook, or are you just going to stand there looking cute?” he teased, his grin widening.
“How should I help?” Su Jiyai glared at him. She was in her wolf form. Even if she walked on her two legs, she would hardly have the reach to assist him with cooking.
Qin Feng chuckled, clearly entertained by her frustration.
“Hmm, I guess you’re right. Not much you can do with paws, huh? Then how about a kiss?”
Su Jiyai blinked, before jumping on the counter and then motioning with her paws to bend himself.
