Chapter 402: Chapter 402: Destroy
HQ gripped the communication device tightly, his pulse quickening.
“Are you sure about this, Jax? If Boss Su is really negotiating with Narak, this could change everything.”
“I’m certain, sir. The deal is almost finalized. If Boss Su succeeds in turning Narak human while maintaining his power, then…” Jax hesitated, his breath uneven.
“Then she will have a force unlike anything we’ve seen before. The zombies will no longer be mindless husks—they will follow her willingly.”
HQ’s mind raced. Boss Su had always been a formidable opponent, but this?
This was a move that no one had predicted. If the zombie king truly allied with Boss Su, then annihilation would no longer be a simple task—it would be war.
HQ quickly used his emergency button and called for a meeting.
It was almost midnight, and the Devil’s power was at its peak.
The six figure quickly arrived at the location and bowed to the Devil.
The Devil waved his hand and asked HQ,
“What did you want to say?”
HQ quickly told everything and said,
“My lord, this information changes our approach. We cannot simply charge in and destroy the base. If Boss Su gains Narak’s allegiance, we will be the ones on the losing side.”
The Devil’s expression remained unreadable, but the shadows around him twisted and coiled like enraged serpents.
“And what would you have me do? Cower in fear?” His voice was soft, yet it carried the weight of an impending storm.
“No, my lord,” HQ quickly corrected himself.
“I suggest we attack the zombie king instead. In this way, we create discord between Boss Su and Narak. Narak would turn against Boss Su and feel betrayed.”
The Devil remained silent for a moment, his fingers tapping lightly against the armrest of his throne.
The flickering torches cast eerie shadows across his face, making it impossible to read his thoughts.
The six figures around him tensed, awaiting his response.
Then, finally, he chuckled—a low, dark sound that sent a chill down HQ’s spine.
“You propose turning Narak against Boss Su?” the Devil mused, his voice slow and deliberate. “Not a bad idea.”
HQ straightened slightly, encouraged by the response.
“If Narak believes Boss Su has betrayed him, he will retaliate with all his strength. The alliance will collapse before it can even begin.”
The Devil leaned forward, his glowing eyes narrowing in thought.
“And how do you suggest we execute this?”
HQ swallowed hard before speaking.
“A direct attack will be too obvious. Instead, we manipulate the situation. We will strike at Narak’s forces in a way that implicates Boss Su.
If Narak believes she has turned against him first, his rage will do the rest.”
The six figures exchanged glances, considering the plan.

The Devil smirked, his expression one of dark amusement.
“Good,” he murmured. “Very good.”
He leaned back, the shadows around him coiling and shifting as if alive.
“Proceed with your plan, HQ. Ensure that Narak’s wrath is directed at Boss Su.”
HQ bowed deeply. “It will be done, my lord.”
The Devil’s voice turned colder. “Do not fail me.”
HQ’s pulse quickened, but he kept his composure. “I won’t.”
With that, the meeting was dismissed, and the plan to shatter Boss Su’s alliance was set in motion.
Soon, HQ sent his subordinate to sense Narak’s current moment and came to know that Narak would set out in the morning.
HQ moved swiftly through the night, his subordinates following closely behind.
The cold wind bit at their skin as they made their way toward Narak’s last known location.
The mission was clear—frame Boss Su, spark Narak’s rage, and destroy any chance of an alliance.
As they reached the outskirts of an abandoned city, HQ raised a hand, signaling his team to stop.
The ruined buildings loomed over them like silent watchers, and in the distance, the faint glow of torches flickered.
“Narak is close,” HQ whispered.
“Listen carefully—when we attack, keep shouting that you are Boss Su’s people. Make sure the zombies hear it.”
His subordinates nodded, gripping their weapons tightly. HQ’s plan was simple: make Narak believe Boss Su had betrayed him.
If the zombie king’s wrath turned on her, their job would be done.
A moment later, they spotted him.
Narak stood tall in the middle of the street, surrounded by his undead army.
The power radiating from him made the air feel heavy.
HQ took a deep breath and stepped forward. “Narak!” he called out, his voice strong.
The zombie king turned his head slightly, staring at HQ with unreadable eyes.
One of HQ’s subordinates stepped forward and shouted, “We are from Boss Su’s base! We attack in her name!”
Another followed suit. “Boss Su ordered us to destroy you, Narak!”
With that, the squad charged, weapons raised, firing bullets and launching attacks toward Narak’s forces.
The zombies snarled in response, rushing forward to defend their king.
But Narak didn’t move. Instead, he lifted his head slightly, his red eyes narrowing.
The air around him seemed to pulse, and suddenly, HQ felt something strange—an overwhelming pressure as if an invisible force was squeezing his lungs.
Then, Narak spoke.
A guttural, growling language, deep and ancient. His words sent shivers down HQ’s spine, but he couldn’t understand a single one.
HQ gritted his teeth. “What is he saying?”
Before anyone could respond, the zombies around Narak suddenly froze. Then, as if receiving an unheard command, they turned—toward HQ’s squad.
Something was wrong.
One of HQ’s men gasped. “Sir… he’s looking at us like—like he knows.”
Narak’s gaze locked onto HQ, his red eyes burning with realization. Then, in a single instant, he let out a deafening roar.
The zombies moved.
Not toward Narak’s forces, but toward HQ’s.
The squad barely had time to react before the undead lunged, tearing through their ranks with inhuman speed.
HQ’s eyes widened.
“It worked! Let’s run!”
He barely managed to dodge as a clawed hand swiped at his throat.
Narak took a step forward, staring directly at HQ. Then, in his strange, growling tongue, he spoke again.
