Chapter 406: Chapter 406: Arrival
She activated her invisibility function and ordered,
“System, teleport me there.”
[Yes, host.]
Whoosh.
The next moment, Su Jiyai reached the battlefield. No one sensed her arrival except Lin Hao. He stared at the location where Su Jiyai had arrived.
Su Jiyai’s heart skipped a beat.
Did he sense her arrival?
However, soon Lin Hao averted his gaze, as if he was only looking in the direction unintentionally.
Su Jiyai heaved a sigh of relief.
What she didn’t expect was Narak to sense her arrival and chuckled darkly,
“So? There are a few more people hiding here, huh? Great. Let’s see how long you can fight against me.”
Su Jiyai crouched low, invisible to the naked eye, scanning the battlefield.
Suddenly, Narak sent a shockwave of dark energy toward Xi Ping, who barely teleported out of the way in time.
The force of the blast knocked Jake and Lin Hao back, their bodies hitting the ground with a sickening thud.
Now.
Su Jiyai summoned her fire power, her palms glowing with intense heat as she prepared a volley of fireballs.
With her SSS-Rank boots enhancing her speed, she sprinted toward Narak, invisible and silent.
She hurled the first fireball, watching it soar through the air and strike Narak in the back.
The flames exploded on impact, catching him off guard.
Narak let out a furious roar, spinning around in confusion.
“Who dares?!” he growled, his eyes scanning the battlefield for the invisible assailant.
But Su Jiyai was already on the move, darting to the side and launching another fireball, this time aiming for his legs. The fire ignited on contact, causing Narak to stumble.
Xi Ping, noticing the sudden shift in Narak’s balance, seized the opportunity and teleported behind him, landing a powerful blow to his side.
The impact sent Narak staggering forward, right into Lin Hao’s sword strike.
The blade bit into Narak’s shoulder, causing him to snarl in pain.
“Keep pushing!” Xi Ping shouted, her voice filled with determination.
Su Jiyai moved with precision, her speed amplified by the boots.
She circled around Narak, invisible and undetectable, throwing fireballs at every opening she saw.
Each hit chipped away at Narak’s defenses, forcing him to split his attention between the visible and invisible attackers.
Jake, recovering from the earlier shockwave, rushed in from the other side, landing a flurry of quick strikes with his daggers, keeping Narak distracted.

With one swift movement, Su Jiyai aimed the dagger at Narak’s side, where his armor was weakest.
She struck, the blade plunging deep into his flesh.
Narak let out a roar of agony as the dagger’s power surged through him, weakening his defenses even further.
But Narak was not one to fall so easily.
He swung his arm wildly, trying to shake off the invisible attacker.
Su Jiyai dodged, narrowly avoiding his grasp, and retreated quickly, her heart pounding in her chest.
Narak’s aura flickered, his strength visibly waning from the onslaught.
He turned in circles, his rage palpable as he searched for the invisible attacker who had managed to wound him.
“Where are you, coward?!” he bellowed, his voice filled with fury.
Suddenly, Lin Hao’s voice sounded,
“Done.”
An ominous feeling rose in Narak’s heart, and he moved; however, he was a step too late.
Narak’s eyes widened in shock as he felt the psychic cage tighten around him, the shimmering barrier crackling with energy, binding his movements.
A low growl escaped Narak’s throat as he strained against the invisible chains.
Lin Hao stood tall, his hand extended, eyes focused as he maintained control of the psychic trap. His voice was calm yet determined.
“Now, attack with everything you’ve got!”
Su Jiyai didn’t need to be told twice.
Xi Ping teleported beside Narak, launching a flurry of strikes with her super strength, each punch sending shockwaves through the air.
Narak roared in frustration, trying to retaliate, but the psychic cage held him in place, preventing him from moving freely.
Jake followed suit, his daggers flashing as he slashed at Narak’s exposed sides, his strikes precise and unrelenting.
Narak’s armor began to crack under the combined assault, and his dark energy flickered weakly.
Su Jiyai moved in for the final blow.
She summoned a massive fireball, the flames burning brighter than ever before, the heat radiating off her like a furnace.
She raised her hand, the fireball growing larger as it hovered above her palm, ready to be unleashed.
“Now!” she shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.
With a swift motion, Su Jiyai hurled the fireball directly at Narak.
The flames roared as they tore through the air, striking Narak square in the chest.
The explosion rocked the battlefield, engulfing Narak in a sea of fire. His roar of agony echoed across the area as the fire consumed him, his dark energy flickering and sputtering out under the relentless heat.
But Su Jiyai wasn’t done yet.
With the SSS-Rank Dagger still in hand, she sprinted toward Narak’s weakened form, her speed blurring her movements.
As the flames died down, revealing the charred remains of Narak’s armor, Su Jiyai saw her opening.
In one swift, fluid motion, she drove the dagger deep into Narak’s chest, the blade sinking into his flesh with a sickening crunch.
Narak’s eyes widened in shock, his mouth opening in a silent scream as the dagger’s power surged through him, tearing through his defenses and draining the last of his strength.
For a moment, everything was still.
Then Narak’s body burned and turned into ashes.
“Huh?” Xi Ping was taken aback.
Even Jake and Lin Hao were confused.
On the other hand, Su Jiyai’s eyes widened, and she said with a baffled face,
“Wait… he was a clone?”
……………………………..
At the same time, in an abandoned building.
Narak, whose eyes were closed and he was sitting in a lotus position, suddenly opened his eyes and spit blood.
“Ah…so they have the power to deal with my clone…interesting. Should I join the battle now?”
He thought for a while and remembering how 30% of his zombie army was dealt with, he paused,
“Looks like this Boss Su and her soldiers are somewhat powerful. I should plan it out.”
Then his eyes turned dark, and he muttered,
“There is a mole by my side, huh? Otherwise, how would that first batch of Boss Su’s people know about my army’s location? But who it could be?”
After a pause, Narak continued,
“Was it Kane? No, he had declined my offer and wasn’t even there in the group. So was it Sarak or Torak? Maybe I should kick them out. With them, I don’t know if I could achieve my goal or not.”
……………………………..
Xi Ping stared at the ashes and muttered,
“Did this zombie king die? Just like that?”
Lin Hao inspected the ashes and said with a grim expression,
“I fear that what destroyed was just clone.”
“Just clone? How can the clone be so powerful? You are lying, right?” Xi Ping asked expectantly.
Lin Hao shook his head solemnly.
“I’m afraid not. This clone was likely created to be as powerful as Narak himself, to give the illusion that he’s here. But his real body is still out there, likely controlling everything from a distance.”
Xi Ping’s expression darkened.
“So, all of this… was just a distraction?”
Su Jiyai, still holding her SSS-Rank dagger, clenched her fists.
“That means Narak knows we can take down his clone. He won’t underestimate us next time.”
Jake wiped the blood from his lip, his daggers still in hand.
“So, what’s the plan now? We can’t just wait for him to come to us. He’s clearly regrouping, planning something bigger.”
Lin Hao turned his gaze to the horizon.
“We need to track his movements, find his real body before he can mobilize the rest of his forces.”
“But how?” Xi Ping asked, her frustration evident. “We have no idea where his main base is.”
Su Jiyai frowned. She knew where Narak’s main base was, but the problem was…how were they going to deal with him?
Just dealing with his clone became such a hassle for all of them, so it would be even more difficult to kill Narak.
“Lets report to Boss Su for now.” Lin Hao suggested with a serious expression.
Xi Ping and Jake nodded.
All three of them pressed the red button, and the next second, they were teleported to Hope’s base.
Su Jiyai, too, returned with a grim expression.
When Xi Ping, Jake, and Lin Hao reported everything to Su Jiyai, she remained silent.
“Why don’t we ask all the superhumans to attack together? Maybe then we will stand a chance?” Xi Ping suggested.
“Bringing all the superhumans together for an all-out assault sounds good in theory, but there’s a problem,” she said, her voice firm.
“We don’t know the full extent of Narak’s forces. If we attack without proper intelligence, we could be walking into a trap, and that could cost us everything.”
Xi Ping frowned, her frustration evident.
“But we can’t just sit here and wait. We’ve already proven we can take down his clone. We need to act before he gets stronger.”
