Chapter 413: Chapter 413: Reward
Su Jiyai narrowed her eyes slightly, though a small smile tugged at her lips.
“Oh? So now you want to cash in on that, huh? Well, I’m afraid all our rewards are going toward preparing for the fight with Narak.”
Qin Feng shook his head, his grip on her tightening just a bit. “I’m not talking about resources or supplies. This reward is more… personal.”
Su Jiyai felt a flush of warmth rise to her cheeks; however, after living with Qin Feng for so long, she had gained a certain amount of immunity from his flirting.
“I am wolf cub, what can I give you?” She said confidently.
Qin Feng chuckled,
“A kiss or something else.”
Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow,
“Eh? What something else? As a wolf…”
“You do realize that I can transform into a wold cub too, right?” Qin Feng asked with a smile.
“You can?” Su Jiyai asked with surprise.
“Hm. I have absorbed a person’s blood who can transform into any animal he wants, so I have his superpower.” Qin Feng smiled as he bent down and transformed into a silver-haired wolf.
Su Jiyai felt her body heat up, a strange kind of warmth rushing through her the moment Qin Feng transformed into the silver-haired wolf.
Her heart started racing, and an urge she couldn’t explain filled her mind—an overwhelming need to be close to him, to touch him.
She had never felt this way before, but something about seeing Qin Feng in that form sparked an instinct within her.
“Q-Qin Feng…” she stuttered, her face flushing even more as she struggled to keep her composure.
“Turn back… turn back to your human form…”
Qin Feng, noticing the urgency in her voice, blinked in surprise but didn’t question it.
He quickly transformed back into his human form, the silver wolf disappearing and leaving only his familiar self standing before her.
The moment he returned to human form, the heat inside Su Jiyai’s body began to fade, and she finally let out a breath she didn’t realize she had been holding.
Qin Feng looked at her with concern, his eyes narrowing slightly. “What happened, Jiyai? Are you alright?”
But Su Jiyai didn’t answer right away.
She was lost in her own thoughts, trying to make sense of what had just occurred. The warmth, the strange urge—it had all come so suddenly when he was in that wolf form.
It wasn’t normal. But then, a thought clicked in her mind, and her eyes widened in realization.
Maybe it was because of their mate bond.
Finally, she snapped out of her thoughts and glanced at Qin Feng. She forced a small smile and said,
“You… you can’t transform into a silver wolf in front of me anymore.”
Qin Feng raised an eyebrow, confused. “Why not?”
“I just… I can’t explain it right now. But promise me. Don’t do it.”
Seeing the seriousness in her expression, Qin Feng nodded. “Alright, I promise. No more silver wolf around you.”

Just then, the clock struck 10 pm, and Qin Feng suddenly scooped Su Jiyai up in his arms, making her gasp in surprise.
“Hey! What are you doing?” she asked, her voice filled with a mix of surprise and laughter.
Qin Feng smirked, his eyes playful. “It’s time for your 22nd gift. Hold on tight.”
Before Su Jiyai could say another word, they were teleported.
In the blink of an eye, the scenery around them changed, and they found themselves in a completely new place.
Su Jiyai’s eyes widened as she took in her surroundings.
They were standing in the middle of a base—a clean, well-organized base.
There were small houses scattered around, a local market bustling with activity, and people walking by, all of them looking strong and capable.
The entire place was secure, with guards posted at different points, and the atmosphere was calm yet full of energy.
It was nothing like the chaotic, crumbling world outside.
Su Jiyai looked around in awe. “Where… where are we?”
Qin Feng smiled proudly and gestured to the base. “This is JiFeng base. It’s a gift. From me to you.”
Su Jiyai’s mouth dropped open in shock. “JiFeng…?”
“Yeah,” Qin Feng said, his smile widening. “Ji from your name, and Feng from mine. JiFeng base. I built it for us. For you, Jiyai.”
Su Jiyai was speechless.
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
A whole base built just for her? And he had named it after them both? It felt like a dream.
She stared at Qin Feng, her eyes filled with disbelief.
“You… you did this for me?” she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.
Qin Feng nodded, his expression softening as he looked at her.
“Of course. You have done so much for us. After all, you were the one who took the initiative to propose to me.
While I was hesitating and was afraid of the unknown future, you bravely confessed your feelings. I was able to survive, just because of that confession Jiyai.
Back then, when I built this base, I always dreamt that one day I would hand the base to you. ”
Su Jiyai felt her chest tighten, emotions swirling inside her as she listened to Qin Feng’s words.
“I…” she started, but her voice trailed off. She was overwhelmed, unsure of how to respond to such an incredible gesture.
Qin Feng smiled softly, his hand brushing against her cheek, gently wiping away a tear she hadn’t even realized had fallen.
“You’ve always been my strength, Jiyai. Even when I doubted myself, you never did. I wanted to give you something to show you just how much you mean to me. This base—our base—is a place where you’ll always be safe, where we can build our future together.”
Su Jiyai blinked rapidly, trying to keep the tears from spilling over.
“You… You’re too much,” she whispered, her voice shaky with emotion. “I don’t even know what to say. How could I ever thank you for this?”
Qin Feng chuckled and pulled her into his arms, holding her close.
“You don’t have to thank me, silly. You already gave me the best gift by just being yourself. By being with me. That’s more than enough.”
Su Jiyai closed her eyes as she rested her head against his chest, feeling his warmth and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
She could hardly believe it—JiFeng base, named after the two of them.
It was a symbol of everything they had been through, everything they had fought for, and it was now theirs.
After a few moments, Su Jiyai finally pulled back slightly and looked up at Qin Feng.
“Show me around,” she said, her voice more steady now. “I want to see everything.”
Qin Feng grinned and took her hand, leading her through the base. As they walked, Su Jiyai’s amazement only grew.
The base was perfect—clean, well-organized, and full of life.
The houses were sturdy and neatly arranged, each one built with care.
The market was bustling with people selling and trading supplies, and Su Jiyai noticed that everyone here looked strong and capable, ready to defend the base if needed.
“There’s a lot of powerful people here,” Su Jiyai commented, glancing at the guards stationed at different points throughout the base.
Qin Feng nodded.
“Yeah, I made sure to bring in people who could help protect the base. We’ve been through enough chaos, and I wanted this place to be a safe haven—for us and for others, too.
Everyone here is strong and capable, and they’re all dedicated to keeping the base secure.”
Su Jiyai smiled. “You really thought of everything, didn’t you?”
“Of course,” Qin Feng said, squeezing her hand. “I wasn’t going to leave anything to chance when it comes to you.”
“Feng’er, how many citizens live here?” Su Jiyai suddenly asked.
“Around 35,000.” Qin Feng answered.
Su Jiyai’s eyes brighetend and she asked,
“Why didn’t they join Boss Su’s base, which was offering much better living conditions?”
“Oh, that…they are grateful for my help and want me to repay and hence aren’t ready to leave this place.” Qin Feng explained.
Su Jiyai’s eyes brightened.
She had the Hua Tribe under her, which, like the Rover Base, won’t vanish even if the system did.
As long as she moves the 35,000 people in the Hua Tribe or the recently acquired Crystal Cove, she could easily reach level 4.
Then she would be one step closer to level 5! Once she reached level 5, she could finally show her face to Qin Feng.
Excitement appeared in Su Jiyai’s heart. It was so much that she didn’t notice that Qin Feng paused and his body trembled with excitement too.
Su Jiyai cleared her throat and said,
“Feng’er, would you mind if I recruit them to join Boss Su’s other base? Don’t worry, the rent won’t be much and they could live a peaceful life there too!”
After finishing her words, Su Jiyai was a bit disappointed. This was a gift given to her by Qin Feng! How could she only think about herself…
