Chapter 415: Chapter 415: Level 5
Narak’s eyes narrowed at Su Jiyai’s words, suspicion still lingering in his gaze.
He remembered the group of humans who had attacked his territory, their arrogance and cruelty as they falsely claimed to represent Boss Su.
His jaw tightened, and a growl rumbled deep in his throat.
“I see,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “So, they were traitors, trying to stir up conflict between us.”
Su Jiyai nodded, her expression serious.
“Exactly. They wanted to pit us against each other, to make us enemies. But I’m offering you a different path—one that benefits both of us.
If you want revenge on those who wronged you, I won’t stand in your way. Just remember, they don’t represent me or my people.”
Narak’s lips twisted into a cruel smile.
“I’ll make sure they pay for their lies. But remember, Boss Su, your promise still stands. If you fail to deliver, my patience will run out, and I will come for you.”
Su Jiyai met his gaze, unflinching. “I understand. And I won’t fail.”
For a moment, the tension between them hung heavy in the air, like a drawn bowstring ready to snap. Then, with a sharp nod, Narak signaled his zombies to retreat.
The grotesque army slowly backed away, their snarls and growls echoing through the battlefield as they disappeared into the shadows.
Narak lingered a moment longer, his dark eyes lingering on Su Jiyai before he finally turned and followed his forces.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Then, one by one, all of them fell to the ground. Narak’s aura was so overpowering that it was hard for them to even stand straight in his presence.
Some of the weaker ones even vomited blood.
Qin Feng exhaled, his shoulders relaxing slightly. “That was… intense,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair.
Xi Ping, who had been watching quietly, nodded in agreement.
“You handled that well, Boss. I wasn’t sure how things would go, but you kept control.”
Su Jiyai, still staring at the spot where Narak had stood, let out a slow breath. “It’s not over yet,” she said quietly.
Jake, who had been unusually silent throughout the encounter, stepped forward. His expression was serious, his usual carefree demeanor replaced by grim determination.
“What’s the plan, Boss? How do we find the antidote?”
Su Jiyai thought for a while and answered,
“We need to find Professor Lu first.”
“Professor Lu? Who is he?”
“Haven’t you heard? It is said that if anyone can come up with an antidote for the zombie virus, it can only be him.”
“Eh? Why only him?”
“From what I remember and have heard, Professor Lu was the most intelligent person when it comes to virology.”
“Is he? My god! So, as long as we find him, maybe…maybe we can get over the apocalypse!”

Qin Feng nodded, his brow furrowed. “And Narak? Do you think he’ll actually give us the time we need?”
Su Jiyai’s gaze hardened.
“I don’t trust him, not entirely. But right now, he’s interested. He wants what I’m offering, and as long as he believes I can deliver, we have a chance. But we can’t afford to waste any time.”
Jake’s brow furrowed as he absorbed Su Jiyai’s words. “Then we should start searching for Professor Lu immediately.”
Su Jiyai nodded.
“Yes. But it’s not going to be easy. He’s not the type to stay in one place for long, especially now. We’ll have to track him down, and quickly.”
Xi Ping stepped forward, her expression determined.
“I can have scouts spread out, gather information about his whereabouts. If anyone has seen him recently, we’ll know.”
“I do have some leads.” Su Jiyai said, “I was trying to find professor Lu for the past few months and got some clues, Yuan Xin will hand it over to you, Xi Ping.”
“Alright.” Xi Ping nodded.
………
On returning to the base, Su Jiyai hurriedly teleported to Qin Feng’s room and took off her veil. Just as she had put the veil on her inventory, Qin Feng arrived.
Seeing Su Jiyai on the bed, he scooped her in his arms and said,
“Did you miss me?”
Su Jiyai nuzzled against his face and said,
“Yes.”
Her body was slightly relaxed.
Qin Feng hugged her and lay on the bed. He stroked her fur and asked,
“Jiyai, did you talk with Boss Su about the shifting?”
Su Jiyai instantly nodded and replied,
“I did. Boss Su even got a 5 transportation car to transfer the public from Jifeng Base to Hua tribe. She also agreed to transform the Hua tribe into the Jifeng Base. She is gifting the entire hua tribe.”
Su Jiyai wanted to create a good impression of Boss Su on Qin Feng.
After all, she didn’t want to face resistance from Qin Feng the day she revealed her true identity as Boss Su.
Qin Feng, who knew everything, pretended to show a surprised expression and said,
“Really? Boss Su is truly generous!”
Su Jiyai nodded eagerly.
“Yes, she is. She even said that if we face any difficulties during the transfer, we can contact her directly. She seems really concerned about the people at the Jifeng Base.”
Qin Feng smiled, still stroking Su Jiyai’s fur gently.
“That’s good to hear. It’s nice to know we have someone powerful looking out for us. The Hua tribe could use that kind of support.”
Su Jiyai closed her eyes, feeling a mixture of relief and guilt.
On one hand, she was glad Qin Feng seemed to trust “Boss Su.”
But on the other hand, she knew the truth was bound to come out eventually, and she wasn’t sure how he’d react when he found out she had been hiding her identity all this time.
After laying on the bed, both of them started to cultivate.
[Host, Xi Ping wants to have a discussion with you.]
“Hmm? Okay, wait.” Su Jiyai said, turning toward Qin Feng. Seeing him engrossed in cultivation, she asked the system to teleport her to the underground room.
Once she was in front of the monitor, Su Jiyai turned on the monitor and saw Xi Ping in the conference room.
“Hello, Xi Ping.”
Xi Ping, who was sitting on one of the chairs, looked toward the speaker and greeted,
“Hello, Boss Su.”
“Did you want to discuss something?” Su Jiyai asked.
“Yes. Boss Su, I have reached level 5 of portal opening superpower.” Xi Ping informed.
Su Jiyai’s eyes brightened, and she instantly said,
“Good. Wait a minute.”
Then she wore her veil and turned on the appearance-changing function. After disguising herself as an old woman, she teleported to the conference room, and Xi Ping instantly bowed to her,
“Boss Su!”
“Don’t bow to me. Here, hold this and try to open the portal.” Su Jiyai passed Xi Ping a stack of paper.
Xi Ping instantly recognized them. It was the property paper of the house they had bought in the cultivation world.
For a moment, Xi Ping was stunned. Who would have thought that Su Jiyai had planned so far ahead?
At that time when Su Jiyai had bought the property in cultivation world and put it under name, Xi Ping only felt that Su Jiyai’s series of actions were strange.
But now?
Genius!
That was all she could think.
With her portal-opening superpower, she could open a portal to that place as long as she had an item as a connection to the destination.
These property papers served as the perfect anchor.
Xi Ping took the papers with both hands, her expression full of respect.
“Understood, Boss Su. I’ll do my best to open a stable portal.”
Xi Ping inhaled deeply, focusing her energy. Her eyes glowed faintly as she raised one hand, channeling her power into the papers.
The air around them began to shimmer, a faint distortion appearing in the middle of the room.
Su Jiyai watched closely as the portal began to form, its edges rippling with energy.
A soft hum filled the room as Xi Ping concentrated harder, stabilizing the portal.
After a few moments, the portal solidified, revealing a glimpse of the lush, verdant landscape of the cultivation world on the other side. Su Jiyai smiled, satisfied.
[Host, you are genius. But why did you buy a villa under Xi Ping’s name? You could have simply hand anything from the cultivation to Xi Ping and she would have opened a portal.]
“Will she?” Su Jiyai questioned.
“From what I understand, Xi Ping’s superpower may work completely different from what you have understood. She could open a portal for a living thing.
Like she opened a portal for my location through my stuff. So if I had passed her a random object from the cultivation world, she could have opened a portal to that general area.
But having property papers with an exact location marked gives her a direct connection. It’s not just about energy; it’s about intent and precision.” Su Jiyai explained.
Then she turned toward Xi Ping and said,
“Well done, Xi Ping. This will make the transition much smoother.”
