Chapter 443: Chapter 443: Core Stabilizer
The admin didn’t reply right away. For a second, it felt like the connection had cut off again.

Then his voice came back, a bit colder than before.

“…You’re smarter than I thought.”

Su Jiyai smirked, but her eyes were sharp.

“Maybe that healing chip finally got bored of holding me back.”

[Host, I… I’m really sorry…]

“Don’t say sorry,” she said, brushing off her pants. “Just stay with me. That’s enough.”

The system sniffled. […Okay.]

The admin spoke again, this time sounding more serious.

“You’re right. We do need the farming space. The people in the interstellar era would die if the farming space isn’t handed to Leticia.”

Su Jiyai remained silent. She didn’t say a single word.

The Admin waited for Su Jiyai’s reply, but no words came out of her mouth.

“Aren’t you going to say anything?”

“But you haven’t finished speaking yet.” Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow.

“I did.” The Admin said.

“No, you haven’t. You didn’t give me a solid reason.” Su Jiyai said in a confident tone.

The Admin frowned and said,

“Isn’t that a enough reason? The interstellar era will be destroyed if they don’t have the farming space! Is that what you want? Shouldn’t you show some mercy on these people and let them have a farming space?”

Su Jiyai wasn’t angry, instead, she smiled,

“Eh? Why should I? If I show mercy to these people, who will show mercy to my world? You? The person who has been sucking my points?

The people in my world are hardly able to survive. They don’t even have enough food to eat.

So what if the interstellar era is completely destroyed? It is not my responsibility to save everyone. Its your.

Your task must be to maintain the balance of different dimensions, right? You should do everything in your power to maintain it.”

The Admin went quiet again.

This time, the silence was heavy. Like a big cloud just sat on Su Jiyai’s shoulders.

Then the Admin finally replied, his voice low and dangerous.

“…You’re too sharp for your own good.”

Su Jiyai rolled her eyes. “Thanks for the compliment, Mr. Admin.”

[Host, maybe we should be a little polite—]

“Nope,” she interrupted.

“I’ve been polite enough. I even waited for the truth. And look, they only told me because I cornered them.”

She crossed her arms again and leaned against the tree.

“You want my farming space? You pay the price. Simple.”

The Admin sounded annoyed now.

“You think you can just treat this like a business deal?”

Su Jiyai shrugged.

“Why not? You came to me with an offer. I didn’t beg for help. You said the interstellar era will die without my farming space. That sounds like your problem, not mine.”

The Admin’s voice grew sharp. “You heartless little—”

But Su Jiyai cut him off.

“Heartless?” she laughed coldly.

“Don’t make me laugh. Where was your heart when my brain was melting? When you watched my system beg and sacrifice itself just to keep me alive?”

She stood up straight now, her voice calm but strong.

“You think I’m a tool, right? A little bug you can bribe and control with shiny prizes. But guess what? This little bug can decide the future, so think twice before saying anything.”

The Admin didn’t answer.

[Host… I’m proud of you.] the system said quietly, its voice shaking a bit.

Su Jiyai took a deep breath.

“I’m not giving away the farming space for free. And definitely not for someone like Leticia without knowing the real reason.”

She narrowed her eyes.

“In fact, now I want to know why she’s so important. Why her? Why not someone else?”

[Host… maybe you should use the second ticket now?] the system whispered.

Su Jiyai chuckled,

“System, you are too naive. It is their responsibility to tell me everything. I don’t need to use any tickets for it.”

The Admin finally spoke again, voice flat and unreadable.

“You do realize that I could just simply take away the space from you? It is my generosity for letting you even speak with me.”

“Haha! Then go ahead.” Su Jiyai laughed and continued, “Go ahead and do it. At most, I will kill myself and not finish any task. Let’s see how you will be able to maintain the balance in my world.”

The Admin went totally silent.

Like really, really quiet.

Even the system held its breath.

Su Jiyai tapped her fingers on her arm, waiting.

Then finally, the Admin’s voice came back—cold, tight, and kinda scary.

“…You wouldn’t dare.”

Su Jiyai grinned, but her eyes were dead serious.

“Wanna test me?”

The Admin didn’t reply.

“I’m not scared of dying,” Su Jiyai said calmly. “You should know that by now. I’ve already died once, remember?”

[Host, your courage is kinda scary sometimes…] the system whispered.

“But I like it,” it added quickly.

Su Jiyai chuckled but didn’t take her eyes off the sky.

The Admin sighed. Like a really tired sigh.

“…You’re such a pain.”

“Thanks,” Su Jiyai said, proud.

“Fine,” the Admin grumbled. “I’ll tell you. But you better listen carefully.”

Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow. “Finally. Go on.”

The Admin’s voice lowered, like he didn’t want anyone else to hear.

“There’s a reason we need Leticia to have that farming space. She’s not just some random girl. She’s the Core Stabilizer of the interstellar dimension.”

Su Jiyai blinked. “The what now?”

“The Core Stabilizer,” the Admin repeated.

“You are a core stabilizer, too. People like you and her have immense mental fortitude and a special quality.

Your body can awaken SSS-Rank superpowers. Dimension hunting, space and your body is capable of binding with system too.

Even your fire element isn’t just a fire element. In the future, you will know how special your fire superpower is.

This shows how powerful your soul is and your speciality is awakening a superpower unheard of or seen. People like you are destined to save the world.”

“Wait…if we go by your logic…why didn’t you choose Qin Feng?” Su Jiyai asked.

Her Feng’er had unique ability too, and when it came to battles, he was more powerful than her.

“Honestly, he was our first choice. But no system is compatible with him, and that’s the problem,” the Admin said.

Su Jiyai frowned.

“What do you mean no system is compatible? He’s so strong! Even stronger than me!”

“Yeah,” the Admin replied, a little annoyed.

“But it’s not about strength alone. His soul is too unstable. Too wild. No system wants to bond with him because they think he might explode them by accident.”

Su Jiyai blinked. “Explode them? Like—boom?”

“Exactly. His power level is too chaotic. No system can survive with him long-term. He’s like a storm with legs.

Anyways, we test all the humans before finding the core stabilizers. In the interstellar era, there are many who have great potential, some even had the same potential as Leticia.

But Leticia is different. Before getting reborn in this interstellar world, she was a highly praised researcher in the other world.

She had invented hybrid seeds that could be grown without water. Not only that, she was also a famous 5-star chef in her 2nd lifetime.

In her 3rd lifetime, she was a brave general who led armies and never lost a war. People called her the “Steel Rose” because she was pretty but super strong and scary in battle.

In her 4th lifetime, she was reborn here to save this world; however, due to a mistake, her soul was severely injured, and she had to die miserably.

By acknowledging our mistakes, we will help her get reborn. The future Leticia has still not been reborn, but we need to make preparations in advance.

We are planning to hand her farming space and a chef system in return as compensation for the mistake we committed.”

Su Jiyai blinked a few times.

“Wait, wait… four lifetimes? She’s been reborn four times?”

“Yes,” the Admin said seriously.

“And in every life, she did something amazing. That’s why she’s important. She’s not just some girl we picked at random.

She’s got the skills and the soul power. If anyone can save the interstellar era, it’s her.”

Su Jiyai crossed her arms again. Her face didn’t show much emotion, but her system could tell she was thinking hard.

“Alright then. I am ready to hand over the farming space…”

“Great!” The Admin said in a slightly excited voice.

“But…” Su Jiyai instantly poured cold water on him.

“I want Leticia’s handwritten notes on hybrid seeds. An encyclopedia containing all the knowledge about starting the civilization from zero and how to make it reach to advanced stage. I also want the remaining 7 scrolls of zombie antidote.”

The Admin choked. “You—what?! That’s daylight robbery!”

Su Jiyai looked totally calm.

“Then don’t buy it.”

[Host… you’re really going all out, huh.] the system said in a tiny voice.

“Of course I am. You think I’m running a charity here?” Su Jiyai said.
