Chapter 450: Chapter 450: Alliance Meeting
Su Jiyai’s eyes turned a little watery, but she quickly rubbed them with the back of her paw.
“Hmph! You’re too cheesy!” she grumbled, even though her cheeks were bright red.
Qin Feng laughed. “Only for you.”
Su Jiyai sat back on the chair again and looked down at the black crystal in her paws. It felt warm, like it was alive. She still couldn’t believe he gave this to her.
Then she looked up at Qin Feng and said softly,
“Okay. From now on, you’re not just my boyfriend… you’re my partner too. Forever.”
Qin Feng’s eyes lit up like the stars.
“Really?”
Su Jiyai nodded seriously. “Really. I promise.”
……………………………
With five scrolls of zombie virus antidote in her hand, Su Jiyai planned to make further antidote on her own.
So for the next 5 days was busy cultivating, improving her body, and studying virology.
She didn’t top the study of virology.
On the 6th day, Yuan Xin asked Su Jiyai to attend the national alliance meeting, which was going to take place in Rover base.
Compared to all the remaining bases, Rover Base was in the best condition after Cedar Base.
To show courtesy, the alliance had sent cars to Su Jiyai’s base.
Su Jiyai wore the veil and turned on the disguise function. She disguised herself as an old woman, the one everyone thought was the real Boss of the Hope Base, and greeted the driver.
“Hello, please tell your leader that I am planning to use my own car ot reach there.”
The driver was puzzled but nodded.
Su Jiyai sat in her SSS-Rank car and had invited Qin Feng to go with her.
Qin Feng looked at ‘Boss Su’ and asked with a knowing smile,
“Boss Su, are you not going to take Su Jiyai with you?”
Su Jiyai coughed and said,
“She has some work to do. So she can’t join.”
Qin Feng chuckled, clearly enjoying the act. He leaned back in his seat and said playfully,
“Ah, what a pity. I was hoping to see her.”
Su Jiyai rolled her eyes behind the veil and mumbled, “You are seeing her…”
The car zoomed through the roads smoothly, its engine quiet but powerful.
After about three hours, they finally reached Rover Base.
From far away, the place already looked huge and well-guarded. Metal walls, security drones flying in the sky, and a big electric fence surrounded the base.

Soldiers were standing in neat lines like robots.
“Whoa…” Su Jiyai muttered under her breath. “They sure like to show off.”
Qin Feng nodded. “Well, it is the alliance’s pride and joy. They want to look impressive.”
As soon as they reached the gate, the solider staioned asked,
“Who are you and what is your purpose of visit?”
“I am Boss Su from Hope Base. I am here for an alliance meeting.” Su Jiyai informed.
“Is there any ID proving your identity?” The soldier asked.
Su Jiyai shook her head and took out an invitation,
“This is the only thing I have.”
The soldier looked at the invitation card in her hand. He scanned it with a small machine on his wrist. After a beep, the screen flashed green.
“Confirmed,” the soldier said. “Boss Su from Hope Base. You may enter.”
Then he looked at the SSS-Rank car with wide eyes. “That’s… one crazy cool car…”
Su Jiyai just nodded calmly like a proper old lady. “Thank you, young man.”
The big metal gates opened with a loud creak, and the car rolled in slowly. Everyone around turned to look.
“Is that the rumored Boss Su?”
“Whoa! Look at that car!”
“She really came in style…”
Su Jiyai parked her car at the special VIP spot. Qin Feng opened the door for her like a true gentleman.
“After you, Boss Su,” he said with a small smirk.
“Hmph,” Su Jiyai huffed, but walked ahead with steady steps.
The meeting building was even bigger up close. It had a glass dome roof and giant flags hanging from the top with the alliance symbol—a sword and a shield crossed over a blue globe.
Inside, everything looked shiny and clean. Bright lights, robot waiters offering drinks, and people in suits or uniforms walking around with serious faces.
One lady in a grey suit walked up to them and gave a respectful bow.
“Welcome, Boss Su. Please follow me to the conference room.”
Su Jiyai nodded again and followed the lady. Qin Feng walked quietly behind her, looking left and right with curiosity.
When they reached the main conference room, the doors opened by themselves.
There were rows of seats like a small theater, and each seat had a glowing name tag.
“Hope Base – Boss Su,” her name tag said.
Su Jiyai walked over and sat down like a proper elder. Qin Feng stood quietly behind her chair.
Soon, more leaders arrived.
Whispers filled the room.
“She’s really here…”
“Boss Su from Hope Base…”
“She looks old but scary…”
But Su Jiyai didn’t even blink. She sat calmly with her hands folded.
Finally, the eight alliance heads walked in.
General Dong. Doctor Min. General Liu. Leader Pei. Leader Shi. Governor Lei. Admiral Ru. And Jin Sang.
Everyone stood up and bowed.
General Dong stepped forward and cleared his throat. “Please be seated.”
Everyone sat down quickly. The room went quiet.
The lights dimmed a little, and the big hologram screen in the middle lit up again.
“This meeting is about the current situation of the remaining bases and the development of the zombie virus antidote,” General Dong said seriously.
“Cedar Base recently faced a wave of zombie horde. Though it didn’t break down our defenses, I would request support from the alliance to send more weapons and healing supplies.” Leader Shi said.
He was the base leader of the Cedar Base.
Leader Pei raised his hand.
“Support will be given. But we need to talk about something else, too.”
He pressed a button on his watch, and a new video started playing on the big screen.
It showed a zombie with glowing red eyes and black mist coming from its body. It walked slowly at first… then vanished.
In the next second, it reappeared right behind a soldier and attacked him.
“A teleporting zombie?!”
“No way!”
“This is new…”
The room filled with gasps and murmurs. Some people looked scared. Others looked shocked.
Doctor Min stood up.
“This zombie is a Level-6 variant. We’re calling it a ‘Walker.’ It can teleport short distances and seems to be highly intelligent.”
Governor Lei asked, “How many Walkers have been spotted?”
Doctor Min replied, “Only two so far, but that’s two too many.”
General Liu slammed the table. “We need to hunt them before they multiply!”
Leader Pei sighed. “And how do we do that? They vanish before you even blink.”
“Let’s focus on the first problem related to Cedar Base.” Jin Sang proposed.
All the other leaders nodded.
“Which bases are ready to donate supplies and ammunition to Cedar Base? I would like to mention that whoever agrees will have more chances to join the alliance officially.” General Dong said.
General Dong and General Liu belonged to the military, which was one of the most powerful bases, as they had ammunition and food as well.
Leader Shi was the base leader of the Cedar Base.
Leader Pei was the base leader of the Rover Base.
Doctor Min belonged to a research-based organization named Brightcore Institute.
Governor Lei was the base leader of the Moonshine Base.
Jin Sang was the base leader of Nebula Base. While Admiral Ru was representative of Sunny Base.
These base leaders had their own strengths. Some excelled in airships, while some had supplies. Others had powerful superhumans.
All in all, they were more than capable of supporting each other.
For the last 10 years, they had formed an alliance and helped each other. In this way, all of them survived and even became famous for their alliance.
The base leader gradually understood how well protected their base would be as long as they officially joined the alliance and started to apply to get in.
But till now, only Admiral Ru and Governor Lei were able to get in. After they got into the alliance, Moonshine and Sunny Base improved rapidly.
This fueled the motivation of all the other base leaders.
A short man with a round face stood up first. He was the leader of a base called Iron Root. It was a mining base, not very big, but they had a lot of metal and fuel.
“Iron Root Base is willing to send 20 crates of bullets and 10 crates of healing potions to Cedar Base!” he said loudly.
Everyone turned to look at him.
Not even five seconds passed when a tall, slim woman from Flame Ridge Base stood up next.
“Flame Ridge will send 100 fire-type bullets and one team of elite guards for patrol!”
The bidding had begun.
Another man with silver hair jumped in. He was from Frost Creek Base.
“We will provide 15 crates of frozen food and medical tents! Also, we’ll give a batch of winter gear!”
