Chapter 485: Chapter 485: Connection
Her whole body was shaking. Her eyes darted around the room like she was begging someone—anyone—to help her.

But no one moved.

The Devils just watched.

They knew this wasn’t her fight anymore.

“She’s… she’s scared,” Crow murmured.

“She’s not the one in control now,” Elisha said.

Madam Queen’s voice changed suddenly.

It got deeper. Calmer.

She stopped struggling.

Her arms dropped to her sides.

Her body still hung in the air, but now she was still… like a puppet waiting for orders.

Then… she smiled.

But it wasn’t her smile.

It was cold. Too calm.

“…You found me,” the voice said through her lips. It was not her voice anymore. It echoed, like two people speaking at once.

The Devil’s eyes gleamed. “Finally.”

The body slowly floated down and landed on the floor with a soft tap.

The woman stood straight.

Too straight.

Her eyes had changed.

One was Madam Queen’s usual brown.

The other… glowed faintly gold.

“Who are you?” Scythe asked, his hand on his weapon.

The figure tilted her head, grinning.

“Didn’t the Prophet tell you?” she said. “I’m the one who will kill you all.”

Silence.

The Devils stared.

Even the Devil on the throne was quiet.

Then he chuckled.

A low, amused sound.

“You’re bold,” he said.

The woman smiled. “No. I’m just tired of hiding.”

Elisha’s fists clenched. “So it’s true. Boss Su… she’s the Light?”

The golden eye shifted to Elisha. “I don’t know. But I’m her little gift.”

Veil stepped forward. “How are you inside, Madam Queen?”

“I am soul.” The woman replied with an eerie smile. Then she turned toward Devil and asked, “Shall we start fighting?”

………………………………..

Back at Rover Base.

Su Jiyai’s head broke out in cold sweat, her eyes remained closed, and she muttered,

“Qin Feng, don’t! Don’t risk your life! Chant the spell and you will be back!”

But he didn’t move. His body was still. Pale. Cold.

Su Jiyai bit her lip hard, trying not to panic. She held his hand tightly, her fingers trembling.

A few minutes ago, everything was fine… kind of.

……………………………….

A few hours before.

“So,” Su Jiyai began, looking out the small window. “We have to expose Admiral Ru somehow. But we don’t have proof. We can’t just charge in and scream ‘traitor.'”

Qin Feng leaned back in the seat, arms crossed. “Yeah. We need something real. Something they can’t deny.”

Su Jiyai turned toward him. “What about the Seven Devils? If we find their location, we can prove the Admiral’s involved with them.”

“That’s risky.” Qin Feng frowned. “But if we could somehow… get close to them…”

That’s when Su Jiyai’s eyes lit up. “Madam Queen!”

Qin Feng blinked. “You still have her? I thought you had sent her away.”

Su Jiyai nodded. “She’s locked in the small storage room. I never let her go.”

The two looked at each other, and the plan started forming in silence.

Su Jiyai went to the back of the RV and opened the storage room.

Inside, tied down with sealing ropes, was Madam Queen. She was unconscious, barely breathing.

“But how will we control her…” Su Jiyai muttered.

Qin Feng stepped beside her. “If her soul is that weak… then I can enter her.”

Su Jiyai turned fast. “What?”

Qin Feng nodded. “I can turn into a soul. Just for a while. I’ll sneak in and try to control her body. I won’t take over completely… just enough to use her mouth. Her words. I’ll make her talk. They’ll think it’s her.”

Su Jiyai’s eyes widened. “That’s… That’s dangerous.”

“I know.” Qin Feng smiled softly. “But it’s the only way.”

“What about your body?”

“It’ll stay here. Unconscious. But if you protect it, I’ll be fine.”

Su Jiyai bit her lip. “How do I… how will I know what’s happening?”

Qin Feng looked at her, serious. “Just hold my hand and close your eyes. I will share my vision. You’ll see what I see. Not perfectly, but enough.”

She stared at him for a moment. Then nodded.

“Fine. But if something feels off—I’m pulling you out.”

Qin Feng chuckled. “Deal.”

Su Jiyai then rummaged through a drawer and pulled out a glowing talisman. She pressed it into his hand.

“Remember this spell,” she said firmly. “As long as your body holds this talisman and you chant the spell inside Madam Queen, you’ll come back.”

Qin Feng looked at the talisman and nodded. “Got it.”

“Qin Feng,” Su Jiyai said, voice tight, “come back. No matter what.”

“I will.”

Then, Qin Feng placed two fingers on Madam Queen’s forehead. A golden light surrounded him as his soul left his body and entered hers.

Back to the present…

Su Jiyai was on the floor again, clutching his cold hand. Her eyes were full of worry.

…………………………………..

The Devil on the throne laughed. A slow, deep, amused laugh.

“You’ve got guts,” he said, standing up. “Alright then. Let’s deal with you too.”

Suddenly, he lifted his hand.

Qin Feng didn’t have time to react.

A sharp pain stabbed through his chest—no, not his real chest, but his soul.

Then everything went black.

Back in the RV, Su Jiyai gasped. “Qin Feng?!”

She was holding his hand, eyes closed, watching through him just like he told her… but now the vision was gone. It vanished like someone had shut off the lights.

“No—NO!” Su Jiyai shouted, shaking his body. “Don’t you dare disappear on me!”

But his hand stayed cold. Still. His face pale.

The talisman in his palm was flickering weakly.

“Qin Feng, come back!” she cried, clutching him tightly. “Please!”

………………………

Inside Madam Queen’s body, Qin Feng’s soul staggered, his form flickering like a broken light. It felt like his entire being was being torn apart.

The Devil’s hand was still in the air, and his eyes glowed red.

“I’ve cut your thread,” the Devil said. “No more running back to your little body.”

Qin Feng gritted his teeth.

He could feel it—his connection to his real body was gone.
