Chapter 160: Could one survivor really rival our entire team
“Damn!”
The Suicide Squad was shocked.
How could there be a Gatling machine gun?!
Though Spectrum Squad also had them, they were only fixed defensive installations at their bases.
Alex was directly carrying a Gatling to output firepower. How could they fight against him?
“Damn it, is this Alex Doraemon? How can he pull out anything?”
“We can’t let him shoot!”
Immediately, the captain of the Suicide Squad opened his shirt and attempted to rush towards Alex.
But he was mowed down by the Gatling machine gun, directly triggering the explosives, blowing himself up into a spray of flesh and blood.
Following him were other members of the Suicide Squad.
Alex didn’t even give them a chance to get close, simply gunning them down.
It wasn’t that these people were weak, but when they encountered Alex who was prepared, they had no chance to get close enough to detonate themselves.
Once there was no way to surprise the opponent with a suicide attack, they were useless.
But if they succeeded in detonating themselves…
Alex wondered if, even in his combat gear, he could withstand this level of damage. It was highly doubtful.
Even losing his life was not impossible!
So, Alex didn’t give them any chance, directly using the Gatling machine gun to mow them down.
After resolving the battle, Alex retrieved the Gatling machine gun.
Without even looking at the Suicide Squad members who were beyond saving, he walked directly to Mia and Olivia.
“We can continue shopping if you’re still interested.”
With the Suicide Squad of the Spectrum Squad fished out, there shouldn’t be any other immediate dangers.
Mia looked at the ruins, the brightly lit white marble tiles of the shopping center now tainted with a lot of blood, and shook her head.
“There’s nothing to go shopping anymore. Let’s come back later. If we don’t deal with Spectrum Squad, we have to be on tenterhooks every time we go shopping. It’s really disappointing.”
Olivia also sighed.
“Yeah, we come out to relax, but end up more tired with one fight after another.”
Alex looked at them apologetically.
“I’m sorry for putting you through this.”
Mia and Olivia immediately shook their heads.
“Alex, don’t think too much. We don’t blame you. We see how good you are to us.”
Alex snorted.

“This Spectrum Squad, let them bounce around a few more days. I’ll wipe them out soon enough!”
Mia held onto Alex and sweetly smiled, “Alright, then we’ll see your performance, Alex.”
Alex pulled Olivia beside him, embraced both girls, and solemnly declared, “You can rest assured, in a few days, I’ll make the Spectrum Squad disappear.”
Mia and Olivia said, “Hmm, we believe in you.”
Alex kissed each of them on the forehead and smiled, “Let’s head home for now, I’m hungry.”
Mia and Olivia couldn’t help but tease.
“Alex, you’re becoming quite the eater.”
“What do you want to eat tonight? Chicken, beef?”
…
The three chatted and laughed as they left the shopping center.
Click.
A shopkeeper hiding behind a pillar took a photo of the three leaving.
Then, they sent it to Avery’s personal secretary.
There were hidden lines in this shopping center by the Spectrum Squad.
Although they couldn’t fight, this hidden line had recorded the entire fight scene just now.
This video would become crucial material for the Spectrum Squad’s research on Alex.
“Sophia, I’ve sent you the footage of Alex’s recent battle. Please review it.”
Ding.
Avery’s personal female secretary raised her eyebrow and then accepted the video.
She adjusted her glasses, making sure she hadn’t misread anything.
Then, she replied briefly, “Understood.”
She hurriedly found Avery.
“Captain…”
The secretary knocked on Avery’s door.
“Come in.”
After entering, the secretary saw her captain with messy hair, bloodshot eyes, completely devoid of his usual elegant demeanor.
“Is there any new information?”
Avery had said not to disturb him unless it was about his brother.
Sophia had been with him for so long, even understanding him better than his brother, she couldn’t make such a mistake.
The secretary nodded.
“Yes, today Alex went to the shopping center with his companions and fought against Ronald and the Suicide Squad.”
“I only need the results.”
Avery’s tone remained indifferent.
The secretary hesitated slightly but spoke truthfully.
“Ronald and the Suicide Squad were completely wiped out, while Alex and his group came out unscathed.”
Avery’s tone remained indifferent.
“Understood.”
The secretary was somewhat surprised.
She hadn’t expected Avery to not explode in rage upon hearing this news.
After all, the Suicide Squad could be considered one of Spectrum Squad’s aces.
Their complete annihilation was undoubtedly a heavy blow to the Spectrum Squad.
Yet the captain didn’t seem angry at all.
Avery continued, “Surprised? I still harbor deep hatred towards Alex, but I know it’s not the time yet. We absolutely cannot let Alex disrupt our grand plan.”
“Yes, I understand, sir.”
“Sophia, inform the others not to provoke Alex during this time, conserve our strength.”
“Understood.” The secretary nodded.
After the secretary left, Avery struggled to stand up, supporting himself on the chair.
He opened the videos forwarded by his secretary, staring at Alex’s figure intently, muttering, “You just wait…”
…
After the shopping center incident, Skylar was informed immediately.
He hurriedly ran to Alex’s villa.
Now Alex was an honored guest of the Legion of Glory; there absolutely couldn’t be any mishaps.
After Alex opened the door, Skylar eagerly looked around.
“Alex, you’re not injured, are you?”
Alex invited Skylar in, smiling, “How could I be injured?”
“Skylar should have received the information. The losses were incurred by their Spectrum Squad; I had nothing to do with it.”
Skylar marveled.
Previously, he had doubted Alex’s strength.
Now he finally understands that Alex’s strength may not necessarily be inferior to that of the Legion of Glory and the Spectrum Squad.
Provoking such a powerful free survivor like Alex was absolutely foolish.
Skylar was grateful once again that he had formed a partnership with Alex.
Otherwise, if Alex wanted to expand and clashed with the Legion of Glory, the losses would be unpredictable.
Skylar chuckled, “Alex seems to be very confident. I didn’t expect you to have a Gatling machine gun on hand. It really surprised me!”
Alex looked at him with a smirk, saying, “Skylar, this Gatling machine gun is nothing. There are many high-level resources I haven’t shown yet.”
Skylar was skeptical.
If anyone else said that, he’d slap them.
Are you kidding me?!
But when Alex said it, Skylar couldn’t be sure.
Because it seemed like Alex really had such abilities.
But it was still unbelievable.
Skylar thought, even if Alex was amazing, he couldn’t possibly collect so many high-level resources.
Otherwise, those large teams would be eating dirt.
Could one survivor really rival our entire team?!
Alex didn’t say much.
He had been honest, not lying.
Whether Skylar believed it or not depended on his own thoughts as a partner.
