Chapter 276: Alex’s expression remained impassive
The thought of various warships sailing on the ocean, perhaps even engaging in battles, was enough to stir one’s imagination!
Shaking his head, Alex dismissed these thoughts.
He started up the yacht and headed towards the direction of the Dawn.
The orca Moby followed closely behind; its speed matched that of the yacht effortlessly.
Before long, they spotted the massive vessel sailing on the sea.
The Dawn, Noah’s Ark!
“Phew, we’re back. Finally, no need to spend another night at sea!” Alex breathed a sigh of relief.
…
Meanwhile, on the Dawn, many survivors noticed the approaching yacht and began discussing amongst themselves.
However, upon seeing Alex at the helm, their expressions subtly changed, and they quickly fell silent.
Ever since Alex had defeated the three giants from Country B, he had become the de facto ruler of the Dawn.
The Dawn’s Dawn Guard, which he had ordered to be formed, was the only authority on board, managing all aspects of life aboard the Dawn.
His established rules and regulations were to be followed by everyone without exception.
Thus, in these few days, Alex had gained absolute authority aboard the Dawn.
No one dared to gossip behind his back.
…
Soon enough, Alex returned to the Dawn.
Before he could even reach his room, however, he received a message from Jose.
“Emergency! Come quickly!!” Jose’s message read.
Alex raised an eyebrow immediately.
From Jose’s tone, it seemed something significant had occurred; otherwise, he wouldn’t be so urgent.
In Alex’s impression, Jose was generally composed and reliable.
Therefore, Alex didn’t hesitate.
He quickly told Mia and Olivia, “There’s something going on with Jose. I’ll be right back. You two head back!”
With that, Alex hurriedly went to find Jose.
Besides Jose, there were also seven or eight members of the Dawn Guard present.
Everyone was fully armed, prepared as if facing a great threat.
Apart from them, there were three survivors tightly bound with ropes.
They were kneeling on the ground, bloodied and bruised, as if they had suffered beatings and inhumane treatment.
“Jose, what’s going on? Why did you call me here so urgently?!” Alex demanded as soon as he arrived.

As he spoke, Alex glanced at the three individuals.
They seemed unfamiliar.
They didn’t appear to be from the Dawn, but he couldn’t be certain.
After all, during his time on the Dawn, he hadn’t necessarily met everyone aboard.
It was normal for them to seem unfamiliar.
However, it was clear that these three had committed some grave offense.
Otherwise, Jose wouldn’t treat them this way.
And he wouldn’t have summoned Alex so urgently!
It could only mean that whatever these three had done was extremely serious, involving significant matters!
Sure enough, Jose proceeded to recount the entire situation.
“Alex, at noon today, our Dawn Guard unexpectedly discovered a small boat at sea. On board were these three individuals!” Jose pointed at the three before continuing, “We saw them behaving suspiciously, so we brought them in. Initially, I thought they might be survivors who had escaped from the Dawn. If that were the case, I would have let them be.”
“But after interrogation, I found out these three aren’t survivors from the Dawn at all!”
“They come from a Noah’s Ark named Sky Dragon!”
“Their mission was to locate the positions of other Noah’s Arks and then attack the ones they found!”
Alex remained silent, listening attentively to the detailed account of the situation.
Gradually, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place in his mind.
…
The three survivors before him hailed from the Noah’s Ark named Sky Dragon.
Unlike the Dawn, Sky Dragon had early on fallen under the control of two individuals named Wolfie and Lupine. This happened shortly after everyone had boarded. During a time when everyone was anxious and focused on the super tsunami, the brothers Wolfie and Lupine conspired to assassinate several other first-class ticket holders onboard, swiftly consolidating their power by rallying a faction.
Soon after, the entire Sky Dragon came under their control.
After aimlessly drifting at sea for a while, Sky Dragon unexpectedly stumbled upon a supply crate—a diamond-tier one. From this, Wolfie and Lupine procured a battleship weighing around 30,000 tons—a relatively small and outdated vessel that had long been decommissioned from naval fleets worldwide.
Yet, in a world devoid of satellite navigation, battleships could unleash a terrifying power surpassing that of most warships.
Thus, after obtaining the battleship, Wolfie and Lupine were ecstatic. Their ambitions grew boundless. They aimed to leverage this battleship to make a significant impact.
Their scheming began.
Their plan: locate other Noah’s Arks and, using the battleship’s formidable firepower, coerce survivors to submit to them.
For this purpose, Wolfie and Lupine meticulously crafted a series of detailed plans. Initially, they deployed individuals to engage in conversations over chat channels to extract information about the locations of other Noah’s Arks.
Soon enough, they targeted a survivor aboard the Dawn.
Through these chats, they quickly pinpointed the Dawn’s location.
To their surprise, the distance between Sky Dragon and Dawn wasn’t great.
Wolfie then dispatched scouts to the specified area to further confirm the Dawn’s position.
This set the stage for the events that followed.
Unfortunately for the three sent by Sky Dragon to gather intelligence, they were discovered by the Dawn Guard and promptly apprehended.
…
Alex’s expression remained impassive.
His gaze turned icy, cold light glinting in his eyes.
“I want to know if the three of you have informed Sky Dragon about the Dawn’s location.”
Alex’s gaze fell coldly on the tightly bound survivor from Sky Dragon.
The three seemed defiant, one even snorting and turning his head away. One of them, bolder than the rest, spoke coldly, “Looks like you’re the captain of the Dawn! Let us go now, and maybe there’s still a way out for you all. If you dare lay a hand on us, every single one of you will meet certain death!”
Seeing this, Alex snorted coldly.
“You’re asking for it!”
Instantly, a powerful aura erupted from Alex.
Immediately, the faces of the three from Sky Dragon turned red, visibly uncomfortable under the intense pressure. Fear crept into their expressions involuntarily.
Alex drew a Desert Eagle from his hand and aimed it at the Sky Dragon survivor who had just spoken.
Bang!
A loud gunshot rang out, accompanied by a burst of blood.
In an instant, the head exploded into a mess of gore.
The remaining two trembled uncontrollably.
Alex spoke again, his voice calm but firm, “I’ll ask one more time: did you inform Sky Dragon about the Dawn’s location? You only need to answer yes or no.”
“I won’t ask a second time. Otherwise, your companion’s fate will be yours as well.”
Alex’s eyes were cold and indifferent.
The two remaining survivors dared not meet Alex’s gaze.
But they knew very well that Alex was not bluffing.
If they didn’t speak now, the next moment would see their heads blown apart.
