Chapter 292: Battle robots, come forth
“Now that the levels and strengths of the survivors have significantly increased, battle robots seem slightly outdated. But if we can create a whole unit of battle robots, they would still be a formidable force.”
“Even for me, at level 60, dealing with such a unit of battle robots would still be quite challenging!”
Coupled with the super-stealth destroyer, the power would be even more terrifying.
At this moment, Alex eagerly anticipated that day.
He then devoted himself entirely to the manufacturing of battle robots.
“Battle robots, come forth!”
“This time, I must create an extraordinary force!”
Alex’s eyes were filled with determination.
He then proceeded to invest various materials.
Using the system, he began manufacturing battle robots.
“Let’s start by making one battle robot!”
Alex thought, placing in just enough materials to create one battle robot.
Not long after, a white mist appeared before him.
From within, a tall, imposing robot emerged, exuding a dominating presence.
Seeing this battle robot, Alex was delighted.
This robot was almost identical to Twenty-Two.
This meant that creating a powerful unit was entirely feasible!
As the robot emerged, its gaze immediately locked onto Alex.
Then, it walked up to Alex and knelt on one knee.
“Greetings, Master!”
The battle robot’s voice buzzed.
“Good! Very good! Excellent!”
Alex was overjoyed.
This battle robot appeared to possess a decent level of intelligence.
He then continued, “From now on, you will be my sword, and you must have a name.”
“However, you will have many companions in the future, and giving each of you a unique name would be quite troublesome…”
“Therefore, according to your order of creation, I’ll name you Number One, and the rest will follow in sequence.”
“Is that alright, Number One?”
Alex asked, looking at Number One.
“No problem. It is my honor to be named by you, Master!”

Number One responded.
Alex nodded in satisfaction and then waved his hand.
“Stand aside for now. I need to create more battle robots. Just observe.”
Number One acknowledged and moved to the side.
At this point, Alex continued to create more robots.
“Let’s make five more battle robots!”
Alex thought, inputting 500 units of A-alloy, 500 units of S-alloy, the corresponding amount of steel sheets, and energy cores.
Immediately, more white mist began to form in front of Alex.
This time, the mist was denser and covered a larger area, almost filling the entire room.
Not long after, five massive battle robots, each stepping with powerful and resounding strides, approached Alex.
These robots were not only tall and imposing, exuding an aura of strength and power, but they also looked quite impressive and had a high aesthetic appeal.
With a series of swift movements, the five battle robots knelt before Alex.
“Greetings, Master!”
“Alright, your names will be Number Two, Number Three… Number Six! Understood?” Alex said straightforwardly.
The five battle robots responded in unison, “Yes, Master!”
…
This was just the beginning.
Alex’s initial plan was to create a battle robot army of at least a hundred units.
He had enough materials to support this ambitious plan.
“This time, let’s make ten battle robots at once,” Alex thought.
However, when he issued the command, the system informed him that he could only manufacture up to five battle robots at a time.
There was a limit?
Alex was momentarily stunned.
With no other option, he had to create them in batches of five.
…
Each batch of five robots took about fifteen minutes to complete.
This was relatively short.
In one hour, he had manufactured twenty battle robots.
To create the desired number of battle robots, it would take five to six hours.
This duration was not short.
Moreover, the process was quite monotonous.
Despite the repetition, Alex didn’t feel impatient.
With each new battle robot that appeared, he felt a strong sense of accomplishment.
And so, time continued to pass…
Alex lost track of how much time had gone by.
But outside the room, someone was becoming anxious!
“What’s going on with Alex? He’s been in that room for so long and hasn’t come out!” Mia said, her voice filled with worry.
“I don’t know. He didn’t say anything before going in. What could he be doing in there for so long?” Olivia replied, equally concerned as she looked at the closed door.
Both Mia and Olivia were anxiously waiting outside the room, their concern growing with each passing minute.
Earlier, they had been focused on familiarizing themselves with their newfound level 60 powers and hadn’t paid much attention to Alex’s activities.
When they finally snapped out of their training, they realized Alex had gone into the room and hadn’t come out or responded to any messages.
“Should we go in and check on him?” Olivia asked hesitantly, fearing that something might have happened to Alex.
Mia shook her head in response.
“Let’s wait outside. Alex locked the door, probably to avoid being disturbed. We should wait until he opens the door himself.”
After considering Mia’s words, Olivia nodded.
“Alright, let’s wait then.”
An hour passed with no sign of movement from Alex’s room.
Then two hours passed, still no sign.
Three hours went by.
Four hours.
…
Finally, after six hours, the door to Alex’s room opened.
Alex stepped out, and Mia and Olivia immediately perked up and rushed over to him.
“What were you doing? Why did it take so long? You didn’t even inform us,” Mia said with a hint of frustration.
She felt genuinely upset, having waited outside for so long that her knees were getting stiff.
Olivia shared her sentiment.
Seeing their expressions, Alex laughed heartily.
“I saw you both were busy mastering your new powers, so I didn’t want to disturb you. I didn’t expect it to take this long. My bad, my bad…”
Hearing his explanation, Mia and Olivia didn’t press further.
“What were you doing in there? We sent you messages, and you didn’t reply!” Olivia asked, puzzled.
Alex grinned.
“What else would I be doing? I was doing something important.”
Olivia’s expression turned stern.
“Talk properly and stop joking around!”
Internally, Alex thought she was like a tigress, but outwardly, he immediately became serious.
“What else would I be doing? I was making a batch of battle robots!”
“We’ve just acquired a super-stealth destroyer. If we equip it with these battle robots, it’ll be an even more formidable force!”
…
“Battle robots?” both women exclaimed in surprise.
Alex nodded.
“Yes, I’ve made one hundred and twenty battle robots over this period. My initial plan is to appoint Twenty-Two as their leader. He will oversee them on a daily basis!”
He then led them into the room to show them.
