Chapter 321: Vanishing Without a Trace
The change in the deputy’s expression did not escape Arthur’s notice.
Arthur frowned and asked, “What’s going on?”
“Report, Lord. Just now, the Four Seas Alliance and the Guardian Alliance both issued statements regarding the Dawn ship,” the deputy answered honestly.
“Four Seas Alliance? Guardian Alliance? What are they saying? How does it concern them if I want to deal with the Dawn ship?” Arthur questioned.
Logically, other alliances would not interfere in the Star Alliance’s affairs, given that all seven major alliances are supposed to keep their disputes among themselves. Interference could potentially escalate into an all-out war.
Arthur raised an eyebrow, sensing that things were not so simple.
He pressed, “What did their statements say?”
The deputy hesitated before responding, “Report, Lord. They said that the Dawn ship and Alex have severed all ties, and there is no longer any connection between them. They are urging us not to attack the Dawn ship and to focus solely on hunting down Alex.”
“The survivors of the Dawn ship are innocent and hope we do not become like Alex, killing without blinking.”
Arthur was enraged and slammed his fist on the table.
Fuming, he said, “How ridiculous! The Star Alliance’s business, and they are meddling? How dare they!”
“They are overstepping their bounds and audaciously trying to teach me how to do things. Do they think I don’t know about the dirty deeds they’ve done? It’s utterly laughable!”
“Ignore them. Continue with the attack. We must destroy the Dawn ship!”
“Understood!”
…
At this moment, a storm brewed in the chat channels.
Just when everyone thought the Dawn ship was doomed, the Four Seas Alliance and the Guardian Alliance unexpectedly came forward to speak on its behalf.
This gave the previously doomed Dawn ship a new lease on life.
“Could it be? The Guardian Alliance and Four Seas Alliance are both speaking up for the Dawn ship. Why?”
“I’m not sure, but one thing is clear: the Dawn ship might survive.”
People discussed among themselves.
However, some remained pessimistic.
“Not necessarily. The Star Alliance is determined to destroy the Dawn ship. They won’t abandon their plan just because of a few light words from the Four Seas Alliance and Guardian Alliance.”
Indeed, his words soon proved true.
The Star Alliance responded imperiously, telling the two alliances to stay out of their business.
They reiterated that the Star Alliance must kill Alex and wipe out the Dawn ship, and no one could provide it with protection.
Otherwise, they would be considered enemies of the Star Alliance.
Finally, they warned the Four Seas Alliance and Guardian Alliance to mind their own business and avoid bringing trouble upon themselves.
…
This response caused an uproar among the survivors.

The Star Alliance’s reply was indeed domineering.
Their resolve to eliminate the Dawn ship appeared unwavering.
Yet, just when everyone thought the Dawn ship was doomed and had no way out, the unexpected happened: the Four Seas Alliance and Guardian Alliance both took a firm stance.
“The Dawn ship has severed ties with Alex. The Star Alliance should not attack the Dawn ship. It is completely unreasonable, and we strongly oppose it!”
“And, we will provide necessary assistance to the Dawn ship to counter the Star Alliance’s unreasonable actions!”
The entire situation became a dramatic rollercoaster.
Everyone knew the Star Alliance’s determination to destroy the Dawn ship was strong.
But no one expected that the Four Seas Alliance and Guardian Alliance would be so resolute in protecting the Dawn ship.
“This is getting interesting.”
“Damn it! The Four Seas Alliance and the Guardian Alliance—are they deliberately trying to go against the Star Alliance?!”
“Very well! Just wait! Sooner or later, both you and the Dawn ship will be destroyed by me!”
Arthur’s face twisted in anger.
He had no other options left but to curse vehemently.
At this moment, a subordinate asked nervously, “What should we do next?”
“Forget about the Dawn ship. Concentrate our forces on finding Alex. We must eliminate him to deter others! Otherwise, everyone will think the Star Alliance is easy to bully!”
Arthur, a bit calmer now, spoke.
Despite his composed tone, the murderous intent in his eyes remained fierce.
…
In the following days, the Star Alliance’s intelligence network mobilized all its resources.
Information about Alex was gathered quickly.
However, as time passed, many survivors grew puzzled.
Several days had gone by, and there were no updates on the situation.
It was as if Alex had vanished without a trace.
“Is the Star Alliance incompetent? How could they not find Alex’s location after all this time? Are their intelligence agents just eating and doing nothing?”
“How laughable! One of the seven major alliances, the Star Alliance, can’t find a single person named Alex! And remember, Alex isn’t alone—he commands a warship! How can such a large target be so hard to find?”
“There’s only one possibility: the Star Alliance’s people are all useless, hahaha.”
Many people ridiculed the Star Alliance’s efficiency.
It seemed absurd that, despite the size of Alex’s target, they hadn’t found him for such a long time.
However, they knew only part of the story.
They knew Alex had left the Dawn ship with a large target.
What they didn’t know was that Alex’s Invincible Ship could become completely invisible.
Unless intentionally revealed, others would never detect its presence.
It wasn’t that the Star Alliance’s intelligence agents were ineffective; rather, Alex’s warship was extraordinarily advanced.
Arthur was extremely frustrated by the inability to find Alex.
“What are you all doing? Are you a bunch of useless idiots? With so many of you and so many resources invested, why can’t you find a single warship?”
“It’s a warship! Such a large target—how could you possibly not find it?!”
“Useless!”
Arthur nearly lost his temper and yelled at his subordinates.
If Alex couldn’t be found, the Star Alliance would face significant questioning.
This was not what Arthur wanted.
Yet, as time went on, the situation did not improve.
Many began to question the true strength of the Star Alliance.
Some onlookers, merely enjoying the spectacle, urged Alex not to back down and to confront the Star Alliance directly.
…
Just when everyone thought Alex would disappear for a long time to evade the Star Alliance’s pursuit, Alex and his Invincible Ship silently arrived in an unfamiliar sea area.
In the skies above this region, fighter jets occasionally flew by.
“After a week of sailing, we’ve finally arrived at the Star Alliance’s stronghold…”
