Chapter 400: Give it up; you won’t be able to escape
Mia: “Oh my God, is that a deity? But do deities even exist in this world?”
Olivia: “It can’t be a deity. I suspect it’s a special ability that Alex has mastered, which has changed and granted him this new skill! Clearly, Alex has become much stronger, far more powerful than before!”
Nathan: “The city lord must have upgraded his ability [Invincible Body] once again. Really, that punch was so shocking! With just one punch, he destroyed eight formidable zombies and nearly brought down a hundred-meter-high building!”
Jose’s eyes were filled with lingering astonishment:
“Even though we’re not on-site, the power of that punch is still intensely striking. It was so strong that one punch was almost as powerful as a missile!”
“Back then, my strength was not far from Alex’s. We were among the top figures on Dawn. Yet, Alex’s power has reached this level!”
Everyone was amazed.
Their admiration for Alex reached unprecedented heights.
“That was impressive; I’m very satisfied with the power of that punch!”
Alex withdrew his fist and smiled slightly.
After pulling back his fist, his aura instantly retracted, and the giant figure in the sky vanished in an instant.
The gale also disappeared in the blink of an eye.
The appearance and disappearance of all phenomena seemed to be under Alex’s control.
“A fully upgraded Invincible Body has indeed exceeded my expectations. It’s excellent! It greatly increases my strength!”
“If I upgrade all my other abilities to their maximum levels, there will surely be even more changes. Perhaps, then, I could even compete with the legendary deities.”
Alex smiled and shook his head.
At this moment, a fierce flame of ambition burned within him.
He was about to direct his advanced combat robots to continue advancing and sweep away the city’s resistance.
However, just then, Alex seemed to sense something.
He looked into the distance.
In the sky, three red suns hung perpetually, their endless crimson light bathing the entire world. Among the towering, oddly-shaped buildings, a sudden roaring sound echoed through the air.
“Is that a helicopter? Or a fighter jet?” Alex paused for a moment, unable to immediately discern the source of the noise.
However, he wasn’t particularly concerned about the noise itself. What caught his attention was the fact that there were indeed living people in this city! Moreover, they seemed to have quite impressive weaponry!
At that moment, Alex noticed a figure flying toward him from the distant city sky. The figure approached swiftly and soon stood right before Alex.
“Indeed, it’s a subterranean giant!” Alex looked up and recognized the flying figure, understanding the situation.
Then, Alex’s eyebrows raised in surprise. He noticed that the giant’s limbs had been replaced with mechanical prosthetics.
“Not only have some of the beasts undergone mechanical modifications, but even the giants have been mechanized?” Alex was slightly astonished. It appeared that this giant’s mechanical enhancements were quite successful, enabling it to fly through the sky, comparable to his own Fly ability.
Just then, the giant in the sky came to a stop, seemingly searching for a place to land slowly. The next moment, the giant’s eyes suddenly focused, and the dust quickly dissipated. The outsider figure was smiling at him.
“Mm? Strange, where did all those enraged-level zombies go? Have they disappeared? Did they retreat?”
The underground giant Sean was filled with confusion. He would never have imagined that this outsider could have killed so many enraged-level zombies in such a short time.

Amidst his bewilderment, Sean suddenly squinted as he noticed a nearby building that was on the verge of collapse, and a huge fist imprint on it.
In an instant, Sean’s eyelids twitched uncontrollably.
“What is this…?”
Puzzled, Sean felt his throat go dry.
He abruptly turned his head to look at the outsider who was smiling at him.
In that moment, his mind went blank.
It was as if he realized something in the dark and had an ominous premonition.
“Run!”
As he was descending towards the ground, he abruptly halted.
Then, he unleashed full power, with flames shooting out in abundance.
He soared back into the sky, fleeing into the distance!
“Damn it! This outsider is not right! The moment I saw him, I felt a chilling sensation!”
“And that fist imprint on the building, and the vanished enraged-level zombies… it’s probably all his doing!”
“Quick, quick, quick! I must escape quickly, or else my life might be in danger!”
Sean was trembling with fear, his eyes showing a look of terror. He glanced back, and the person wasn’t pursuing him!
Only then did he let out a sigh of relief.
“This outsider seems like a tiny insect, but he instinctively fills me with such dread!”
“Fortunately, I ran fast, and he couldn’t catch up. Otherwise, I might have been dead!”
However, just in the next moment, he felt a chill around his neck!
“Escape? Do you think you can get away? How ridiculous!”
Alex sneered as he watched Sean flee.
He casually kicked two massive boulders.
In an instant, these several-ton heavy rocks flew out like cannonballs.
In no time, they caught up with the underground giant.
At that moment, Sean felt an intense sense of danger.
He looked back and his eyes widened in horror!
“Damn it!”
Sean was shocked to the core.
Before he could react, he let out a muffled groan as the boulders struck him.
His vision went dark, and his body uncontrollably plummeted downward.
“Damn it!”
Sean roared.
He quickly adjusted his posture, corrected his flight direction, and altitude, and fled desperately.
“This outsider’s power is terrifying! He’s way stronger than me! I can’t fight him! Run, run, run—escape as far as possible! Whatever happens, I can’t let him catch me!”
Sean’s mind was in a state of panic.
“This underground giant’s physical quality is quite impressive! If it were an ordinary survivor, being hit by such a massive rock at such speed would almost certainly result in death, even just a glancing blow!”
Alex was somewhat surprised.
The fact that the giant was struck by the boulders yet remained unaffected made him a bit astonished.
Could this be the result of the giant’s mechanical modifications?
Contemplating this, Alex sneered.
“Interesting, the technology of the underground giants is indeed fascinating!”
“Anyway, let’s capture this last surviving giant first and learn more about this world!”
“Give it up; you won’t be able to escape!”
