Chapter 73: Olivia Blocks the Gun
After lunch, George stepped out of his room and walked to the staircase, overlooking his men who stood in formation, their spirits high.
“Brothers, just now, 10086 rejected our invitation to join Gale Warriors and even insulted us. Can you tolerate that?” George asked.
“No!” the Gale Warriors shouted in unison, their faces flushed with anger.
“And should we swallow this insult?” George asked again, his voice firm.
“No!” the Gale Warriors shouted even louder, their determination evident.
A smile spread across George’s face.
Then, his expression turned fierce as he forcefully slapped the staircase railing.
“Then should we reclaim our dignity?!” George demanded.
“Yes! Yes!” the Gale Warriors erupted once more, their weapons held high.
George nodded in satisfaction, pleased with his men’s response.
Lowering his voice, George’s gravelly yet clear voice rang out as he asked, “So, how do we reclaim our dignity?!”
The Gale Warriors brandished their weapons, raising them high above their heads.
“Kill 10086! Kill 10086!” they chanted in unison.
George burst into laughter.
“Very good! That’s the spirit!”
“Brothers, we leave now.”
“Whoever can chop off 10086’s head later will be rewarded with twenty kilograms of rice and mineral water. I promise!”
Beneath great wealth lies great courage.
The riders of the Gale Warriors were spirited and eager, rubbing shoulders with anticipation.
As the armored vehicles couldn’t accommodate everyone, some acted as infantry to clear the way, advancing in full force towards Alex’s villa.
At that moment, Alex was on the rooftop terrace with Mia and Olivia, watering and fertilizing the fruits and vegetables.
Unaware, they didn’t notice the approaching Gale Warriors.
Suddenly, Olivia heard the roar of the armored vehicles’ engines.
She stood up, rubbing her waist which had become a bit sore from bending over to water the plants for so long, and looked towards the direction of the Gale Warriors.
Upon closer inspection, it was evident that a group of armed men was heading towards them.
She quickly alerted, “Alex, those Gale Warriors seem to be preparing to attack us.”
From the armored vehicle, George saw Alex stand up and pulled out his pistol.
At this distance, it was enough for him to hit the target.
Bang! Bang!
“Watch out!”

Olivia pushed Alex away abruptly.
Then, clutching her abdomen, she collapsed to the ground.
Olivia was shot.
George’s marksmanship wasn’t bad.
From such a distance, a direct hit.
Alex watched in horror as Olivia took the bullet to protect him, his eyes burning with anger.
Then, he quickly lifted Olivia up, called out to Mia, and hurriedly left the rooftop terrace, crouching as they went.
They ran all the way back to the underground bunker, with Alex watching Olivia bleed profusely, his heart in turmoil.
Mia said, “Put Olivia on the bed, I’ll use my skills.”
Alex carefully placed Olivia on the bed, his expression grave as he said, “Mia, we’re counting on you.”
Mia nodded and activated her healing skill, her right hand glowing with white light as she covered Olivia’s wound.
Then, with a soft command, the white light emitted by the healing skill burst into a stronger glow.
The bullet inside Olivia’s body slowly emerged.
Olivia groaned in pain.
The healing skill didn’t numb the pain, so Olivia was undergoing surgery without anesthesia.
As Mia wiped the sweat from Olivia’s forehead with her left hand, she encouraged, though pained, “Olivia, hang in there, it’ll be out soon, I believe in you!”
Olivia’s consciousness was blurred by the pain, relying solely on sheer willpower.
The bullet slowly peeled away from her flesh, and the wound began to heal.
In the end, the skin was as smooth as before, without a single scar.
Mia breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead.
“It’s out.”
Upon hearing this, Olivia blacked out and fell into unconsciousness.
Alex was taken aback.
Mia quickly reassured, “It’s nothing serious, just exhaustion, she needs rest and recuperation, she’ll wake up soon. Then, we’ll replenish her energy.”
Alex nodded.
“Thank you for your hard work, Mia.”
Mia smiled, saying, “I’m the team’s doctor, this is what I should do.”
“I’ll stay here with Olivia, you go outside and see what those bastards from the Gale Warriors are up to, be careful.”
At the mention of the Gale Warriors, Alex’s face instantly turned cold.
“I was just thinking of settling scores! These bastards almost took Olivia’s life, I must settle this debt with them.”
Mia frowned.
“Don’t act impulsively.”
Alex waved it off with a smile.
“Mia, when have I ever been impulsive?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll make them all regret it! Crossing me, Alex, will be something they regret for a lifetime!”
With that, Alex stood up and walked out of the underground bunker.
Step by step, he slowly made his way out of the courtyard, dressed in his combat gear.
He gripped his katana, its cold gleam reflecting a dazzling light.
At this moment, George, accompanied by his lackeys, had already driven the armored vehicles to the large open space in front of Alex’s villa, displaying their might.
Many lackeys whistled, watching as Alex, strolling casually out from behind the S-alloy walls, with a disdainful expression.
Just one person?
Was this a scene from a lone hero movie?
And he’s even dressed in full-body armor like a superhero.
Could this trash really withstand the impact of an armored vehicle?
The entire group of Gale Warriors burst into laughter.
Underneath his battle suit, Alex let out a cold snort.
“Do you know, I’ve never been this angry before?”
“And you, you’re the ones who’ve made me so angry!”
“Now, tell me, how should I deal with you?”
One of the Gale Warriors lackeys who hadn’t been sitting in the armored vehicle stepped forward, sneering at Alex, wobbling his legs as he said, “Holy crap, I’m so scared, I want my mommy!”
“Hahaha, 10086, seems like you haven’t understood the situation?!”
“To boldly talk about dealing with us, we’ll leave you as a complete corpse later, you should thank us for that!”
Alex slowly raised his katana, muttering to himself.
“Dismemberment, huh? Not a bad idea.”
Before his words had even settled, Alex suddenly shot out like a bullet, charging towards the lackey.
The powerful force in his legs propelled him faster than the eye could see for the Gale Warriors.
Silently, with a thud, the head fell to the ground.
Alex, still holding the clean and unstained katana, kicked the lackey’s head onto the armored vehicle and said lightly, “Just realized you were talking big, huh?”
“You illiterate fool, I hope you’ll learn to read in your next life.”
George watched the bloody head on the armored vehicle window, trembling all over.
As a seasoned leader of the Gale Warriors, he wasn’t scared out of his wits by just one head.
He was trembling with anger.
He had underestimated 10086!
Under such circumstances, he dared to kill his lackeys right in front of him.
That’s a slap in the face…
George shouted angrily from inside the armored vehicle, “Get him! Use your weapons, kill him!”
The lackeys of the Gale Warriors, recovering from their shock, immediately raised their guns and started shooting.
Clang clang!
Alex could even smell the scent of music coming from his battle suit.
Accompanying his battle suit, were the bullets continuously fired by the Gale Warriors lackeys.
Although the bullets couldn’t penetrate the S-alloy battle suit, they still made noise as they hit Alex’s battle suit, proving their effort.
Alex walked leisurely, heading towards the lackeys of the Gale Warriors outside the armored vehicle, raising his katana high above his head.
After a sweeping arc, one of the Gale Warriors lackeys looked at his severed arm on the ground, blood spurting out, and screamed in pain.
“So noisy…”
Alex said indifferently as he stabbed downward with the katana in his hand.
The Gale Warriors lackey who was screaming with his severed arm immediately closed his mouth.
Because Alex had pierced his throat.
Alex continued towards the next target.
But, he was sent flying by the armored vehicle.
George sat in the driver’s seat of the armored vehicle, stepping hard on the gas and charging forward.
“Bastard, I’ll crush you!”
Before Alex could even get up, he was slammed against the S-alloy wall by the armored vehicle.
The powerful impact made blood trickle from the corners of his mouth.
