Chapter 144: Dragging her ‘dear sister.’
Bai Xue, who was hiding in her room on the second floor, stiffened when she heard Bai Meiyue’s cold voice. Though she didn’t step out of the room, she knew exactly what was happening on the first floor, and it terrified her until her legs started to shake in fear.

When she instigated Xiang Mei to go and steal Bai Meiyue’s supplies, Bai Xue didn’t take the woman seriously. After all, what could this woman even do to her? As for Bai Meiyue throwing her and Su Hu into prison, she thought that it was because she was agitated and suddenly went crazy.

She never thought that Bai Meiyue completely went crazy! She was actually wielding a knife in her hand as if she were cutting pigs instead of humans!

“I told you!” Su Hu, who was hiding in the corner of the room with his hands over his head, glared at her. “I told you not to tell those friends of yours to not mess with her.”

“For whom did you think I did this?” Bai Xue stomped her feet and whispered angrily. When Xiang Mei said that she was going to steal Bai Meiyue’s supplies with the rest, Su Hu agreed with her. At least he didn’t stop them. Now that things had turned south, he was blaming her for not stopping them.

“What–What do you want to do with Xuexue?” Xiang Mei looked at Bai Meiyue as if she were a demon. “I am telling you this plan has nothing to do with her; it was us who came up with the idea of stealing the supplies.”

She paused and said in a righteous manner, “You—you have so many supplies but you still refuse to hand them to anyone. Your supplies can save lives, so why are you selfish? So what if we wanted to snatch them? It is your fault and has nothing to do with Xuexue.”

When Bai Meiyue heard her words, she was so amused that her lips, despite the anger, curled up in a smirk. She knew that Xiang Mei was a love-sick fool but she never knew that she was simply brain dead. No wonder she only woke up when she was about to die.

She looked at Xiang Mei on the ground with a smile. “Why should I share my supplies with you? I took the risks and I found them after putting my life on the line.”

“You are so great. Your life and death are unclear and yet you brought so many people to this place and not only them; you even attracted a bunch of zombies. The one who is the cause of this trouble is you. The one who doesn’t want to go out and find supplies is also you—and the one who is trying to steal is also you and yet you dare to act so righteously?”

Bai Meiyue raised her foot and kicked the woman on the ground, wishing she could crack open Xiang Mei’s head and see what was filled inside her head.

Xiang Mei endured the pain and argued confidently, “It is just the right thing to do! How can you be so inhuman? Xuexue was kind enough to let us in. What are you? A heartless bitch whose heart is made of stone. Thats what you are.”

After she finished speaking, Xiang Mei felt Bai Meiyue pause, and she thought that her words had created the effect that she wanted and was quite happy. What she didn’t know was that Bai Meiyue had heard the sounds of whispering coming from the second floor.

As a supernatural being, her hearing was better than others.

So, she was hiding on the second floor? Bai Meiyue’s eyes flashed with a bright light and she grasped the knife tighter in her hand. Before Xiang Mei or anyone else could say anything more, she turned on her feet and stepped towards the staircase.

“Where are you going?” Xiang Mei yelled when she saw Bai Meiyue climb upstairs. She hoped that Bai Meiyue wouldn’t find out where Bai Xue was hiding but her hopes were dashed when she saw Bai Meiyue kick open the door.

“AHH!”

“Uncle Bai!”

Xiang Mei rushed to get Bai Qingshi and Chu Xia just as Bai Meiyue caught Bai Xue by her hair and dragged her downstairs with her.

“You like to instigate others into stealing, right?” Bai Meiyue tugged the knot of hair that she was clutching, which caused Bai Xue to yell in pain.

“What are you doing? Let go of me.”

Bai Xue was yelling; she saw through Bai Meiyue’s actions at once when she saw that the woman was dragging her outside. This woman, she wanted to throw her in the crowd of zombies!

“AH! Let go of me; what are you doing? You cannot kill me!”

“Dad! Mom!”

“Bai Meiyue, what do you think you are doing?”

Bai Qingshi, who was hiding in his room, knew that he could no longer hide any more. He bolted out of the room and looked at Bai Meiyue with an authoritative expression. “I am telling you, you better let go of your sister right now!”

Bai Meiyue didn’t even look back and continued to drag Bai Xue out of the penthouse. Once that voice had made her tremble in fear, but not anymore. She didn’t want to create any ripples for the time being; however, who would have thought that Bai Xue would actually scheme against her first? Since that was the case, then she could not blame her for being ruthless.

Her eyes flickered left and right, and Bai Meiyue rolled her eyes. Who asked her to kill those zombies so quickly? Now she had to go all the way to the third or second floor. If she knew this was going to happen, then she would have left some zombies to feed Bai Xue.

However, just as she headed downstairs, she ran into Bai Feng, who drove away after getting a new car. His clothes were covered with blood and flesh and his face looked a bit pale as he had been dealing with zombies without any rest. However, he was still standing tall without any signs of weakness. When he saw Bai Meiyue dragging Bai Xue, he paused and asked, “What are you doing?”
