“I brought her out with me because I wanted her to understand the consequences of her actions.” before Chu Xia could make an excuse, Bai Meiyue interrupted her. “She allowed so many people to live in this building; what’s her plan? Her lips curled up in a cruel smirk as she remarked, “You will need it.”

It wasn’t that she was being cruel. It was Bai Feng who was being cruel to himself. He could have said that he couldn’t do it, that he was also human and that it was simply impossible for him to look for supplies for so many people.

But Bai Meiyue knew that the man was stubborn to the point of being seriously frustrating.

Chu Xia was quite dissatisfied with Bai Xue and her foolish actions but she also admitted that if they had more people, they would be a bit more secure. “Let’s go back; we need to fix the door and the sun is going down; if we stay outside, it will be really troublesome.” while she spoke, she turned and took the bags of supplies from Bai Feng. “Let me carry these; you must be tired, Ah Feng.”

Though she said that the truth was that Chu Xia wanted to keep the supplies to herself.
